I ordered my plants3 months ago and despite the sunniest spring on record, I recieved barely viable Kale plugs, weedy unhealthy tomatoes that likely wont fruit this late and basil 'plants' that are just sprouts clumped together rather than proper plants.
I had emailed Paige to ensure I recieved well developed plugs etc, but that made no difference.
She acknowledged the error but hasnt got back to me about either replacements or refunds.
I only use this company because they dont use plastic, but they are so obviously a rip off that its not worth it.
Will be using someone else from now on.
Online shopping is increasingly the Wild west when it comes to ethical trading.

Best quality plugs I've ever had, non plastic packaging, specific dates when I'd be away avoided, best garden shopping experience and I will definitely be back for more. Thank you for your kind attention, now I just need the Scottish weather to be kind to my veg...not sure the brilliant Rocket team can help there!

Like many of the other reviews, placed an order and then no where to be seen. Was fed a number of lies by customer service each time I spoke to them and still no dispatch or order to be seen! Avoid at all costs, really poor company!

Received my plug plants to create a meadow .
Packing of the plants was suburb and each plant perfect.
Looking forward to enjoying my meadow , relaxing reading a book

I've bought from Rocket Gardens for a few years and always had a great experience - but just wanted to send a shout out of thanks for the excellent customer service I received from Paige and the team when an order went missing recently. She sorted this so swiftly and professionally and was an absolute delight to correspond with. So appreciated and one of the (many) things that makes Rocket Gardens superb. Thank you!

I was initially very concerned that all my plant order was coming in one parcel, having had veg plants from large suppliers for years arriving over a period of 4/5 weeks as the plants were due to be planted. This still concerns me a tad as I put onions in in May! The other issue I became very worried about was that the order of £100 worth of veg plants was sent out on the Friday of the Bank holiday weekend. We live in the middle of nowhere and I had visions of all my plants languishing in a PO office ....the company responded to my e mails and worries and they arrived on the Sunday. However more forward thinking in future would alleviate the stress. A telephone number would be helpful . There is one on Google but it is number unobtainable. Packaging is excellent and plants very good apart from 3 rather sad squash plants that will need a lot of love.

I've really tried with Rocket Gardens as I'd like to support a company like this, and I like that they offer an interesting selection of organic plug plants by post. Unfortunately, I've had bad experiences both years I have tried to use them. The first year, the order was ridiculously late to the extent it was really stretching what it was still ok to plant. Customer service is very slow to respond to queries, and it seems impossible to talk to a human. This year, I've had issues once again. Received a delivery window...then no plants. Slow customer service then eventually told they hadn't been dispatched. Eventually received second dispatch window notification, then delivery arrived with a "packing slip" for my whole order...but with only 1 of the 9 things I'd ordered in it (I did think the box looked extraordinarily small!). No customer service, as usual - for a company which delivers live plants Monday-Sat, I would expect customer service at least some of Saturday. I then opened the 1 of 9 things I did receive...and it included the wrong plants (not as described on website). This seems to be a case of botanical ignorance or confusion rather than a packing issue - they sent me two sets of Tagetes (marigold), whereas the website describes the pack as including Calendula (colloquially known as "pot marigold", but is a completely different genus and species of plant). Plants were also sickly looking and not very well protected in packaging - the nasturtiums were tangled together in a paper bag. Cue another customer service ticket. I would really really love to get organic plug plants from a smaller organic company like this, but it's just way way way too much hassle and error. The time I spend contacting Rocket Gardens support I could be actually growing stuff! In order to avoid ending up with an empty allotment, I end up having to buy whatever is left at my local nursery to replace all the planning and ordering I did back in Feb/March. I suggest avoiding....

The first I have used Rocket Gardens. The plants were of excellent quality and were packed really well. A great service and I will use them again, for sure.

The original order of plugs arrive in a dilapidated state, only 3 of 10 survived transplanting into the veg garden.
Rocket's customer service dept (Paige) arranged for the dispatch of a replacement order which arrived promptly and in excellent condition.
Customer service of this quality will ensure future orders with Rocket Gardens.

I have been a customer for a few years now and am so impressed with this company. I only have a small potting shed and so my main seed sowing marathon starts mainly outside in late Spring. I use Rocket Garden baby veg plugs to get some lovely food growing while I get my seeds sown. I don't like empty beds so only ever clear them if I have plants ready to go in. Very often these little plugs can go straight in. Though I do like to pot some up so they can grow on a bit and be bigger plants going out. I love the varieties they grow. I love the easy to navigate website. The plastic free packaging is a must in these plastic saturated times and I wish other nurseries would look and learn to see how well it can be done. All the packaging goes in the compost heap. You just know that everyone who works in this company cares....about you as a customer, about the environmental impact we all have as gardeners and growers. Customer service is excellent and any problems are sorted out promptly. I always recommend this company and look forward to their further growth.

The wildflower plug plants were lovely. Came in damp compost and well packaged so look very healthy.

This company has sent me a variety of vegetable plug plants and they arrived in excellent condition and also packed in cardboard which means I can compost the entire packaging. I have also had great experience when I have got in touch with the company they responded very quickly and are very helpful. Thank you and the entire team

Received all my lovely vegetable plants - all in great order and still a little damp on the roots. Perfect for planting after another dunking. Brilliant quality and decent size to get my plot going. I’ll definitely be coming back. Thank you!

What a great business! Emails replied to quickly. Continual updates re: despatch and delivery. Plugs very healthy.

I’m a regular user because the plants are great quality and everything I’ve received has flourished. The information received about each plant, how to plant, when to harvest etc is exceptional and my whole family loves the weekly news email about what to do in the garden that week, including recipes! We’ve had to delay delivery on a couple of orders because we’ve been on holiday and it’s easy to do and we always get a personable email back quickly letting us know when our plants will be with us.
I can’t recommend Rocket Gardens enough and wish them a long and healthy existence.

I am a regular customer of Rocket Gardens and have NEVER been disappointed. Problems with posting on a couple of occasions which were totally out of the control of the company were dealt with swiftly and kindly. I have had some wonderful results and will continue to buy my plug plants from here.

Very pleased with the quality of the plants, speed of delivery and customer service. I love the little grow guide/recipe booklet and I like the plastic free packaging. I couldn't ask for more.

No plants have been delivered athough `i orfered them a few weeks ago. Today I have received a partial refund, no idea why, I have not requested a refund. I want my plants!!

AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!! IF YOU WANT HEALTHY PLANTS. THEIR PLANTS ARE OF A DREADFUL QUALITY, PLUG SIZES, ARE NOT FIT FOR PURPOSE, TOO SMALL, TOO JUVENILE & WEAK TO BE SENT OUT, AND ARRIVE SO DAMAGED THEY CANT BE SAVED.
THIS IS DUE TO EXTREME LACK OF PROTECTIVE PACKAGING.
