First time with Rickshaw and very impressed.
Absolutely faultless. Beautiful hotels. Great trips and experiences made all the more poignant with guides who (sadly) experienced Vietnam and Cambodian wars but were both humbled and appreciative to hear their stories- we weren’t expecting such local and personal information.

Cars and drivers were great- a/c and water very much appreciated in 39 degree heat

Great communication before travelling ( very reassuring) and always had texts from guides before arriving in their areas with all the information we needed on our itinerary. So all in all exceptionally well looked after and very appreciative of such great organisation.

Rickshaw travel provided us with an outstanding trip to China.
Rob listened to our initial thoughts and put together a trip that provided variety with informative tours and guides.
We traveled on bullet trains , underground , buses, bikes and taxis. The transport infrastructure is outstanding.
Every pick up ran very smoothly and our Chinese hosts were friendly and helpful.
We stayed in comfortable hotels with excellent breakfasts. Dinners , when available were good too.
China is a colourful destination and with three nights in each destination you can see so much.
Our tour finished on a high with a meet up with family in Hong Kong . Another spectacular destination with plenty to keep us busy for several days.

The team at Rickshaw planned the most perfect itinerary for our family. The kids (aged 5 and 9) now properly have the travel bug thanks to the most amazing experience we had in Borneo. Everyone who dealt with us in Malaysia was incredible too - brilliant guides, drivers, lodge staff …everyone was kind and fantastic with the kids. We emailed Kelly at Rickshaw as soon as we got home to plan the next trip!

We had the most amazing time! Kelly did an amazing job organising our dream honeymoon! It was to plan our trip, all of our questions were answered promptly and the trip was amazing! What really stood out was having activities with local guides, which enabled us to experience the local culture. The accommodation and the mix of activities & downtime were perfect as well.

We have just come back from Singapore and Malaysia with Rickshaw travel. This was our 7th trip with them which really says it all. They are efficient , organised and always come up with an exciting itinerary that we really have enjoyed.

We went to Buenos Aires and Patagonia with Rickshaw. From start to finish they were thorough and efficient. Ceri was very helpful with the planning of our three week trip and adapting it, giving us all the options we asked for. Once there we had easy pick up and drop offs from flights, including internal ones, and excursions, excellent guides, very good hotels, whatsapp contacts if needed at every different location, which in Patagonia is reassuring simply as it’s such a vast country. All in all we had the most amazing 3 week holiday where the experiences kept giving. Thank you!

From our first call with David,our travel advisor, to our arrival in Bhutan, everything was incredibly organised and seamless! Our guide and driver Kinley and Pema were not only informative and helpful but kind and also great fun! We can't recommend Rickshaw Travel highly enough!

My husband and I went to Tanzania / Zanzibar in January. We experienced a collection of let-downs by Rickshaw over inconsistent and late communications, and lapses in basic organisation and local information. The agent in Africa was superb.

On return I painstainkingly evidenced my points to the Sales Lead who I had to prompt for a response a month after being advised I would soon receive one, for which I received an unconditional apology. My complaints have been accepted and I've been advised that actions are being taken to improve certain areas of its business. I don't know when these will kick-in, so this review is to recommend Daisy on the Tanzania desk, who handled our issues in the absence of the agent we were assigned to brilliantly. Fast, efficient, friendly and on the mark. I note I'm not the first to highlight Daisy as being excellent.

We were in an absolute pickle. American action in the middle East effectively cancelled our original plans with less than a weeks notice.
Step in Ceri at Rickshaw - I emailed on Monday night enquiring about a Moroccan tour and Ceri phoned me by 10am on Tuesday to discuss the possibility of arranging a self drive tour - more impressively Ceri and the team managed to pull it off (our planetookoffonFriday). We cannot praise them more highly.
Our Moroccan trip was exciting (Marrakech is intensely busy and fun) followed by a self drive through the Atlas mountains to Ait Benhadou (think Gladiator) further south for a Sahara adventure in a Bedhouin camp (camel riding in and out) followed by a more relaxed and leisurely 2 day drive back north to Marrakech.
Accommodation was excellent throughout - the choice of Riads was excellent.

We just returned from a wonderful trip to Vietnam, organised by Steve at Rickshaw. He really listened to our brief and put together a fantastic itinerary which included hotels, trips/excursions and internal flights/trains. Everything worked perfectly, all the hotels were spot on, and the local agents (Asian Trails) were communicative and responsive to our questions. I would definitely recommend Rickshaw and will use them again!

Rickshaw has some great itinerary ideas but can always tweak it to suit your own interests.

This latest trip to Sri Lanka was a delight.

The holiday was very well organised in Southern India. We were moving around a lot so this was important. Our driver was great and all transfers and airport experiences were great.
Some of the hotels were not always geared at all to European visitors this is off course to be expected but meant that at times eating and drinking could be a challenge. If this is an important aspect to your holiday then make sure you do your due dilgence. For example many more than half of the hotels did not have a bar!

We used Rickshaw Travel to put together an itinerary for us as a family of five including three grown-up children in Costa Rica in February 2026. Hannah came up with a very suitable plan and the package included all our accommodation and several excursions. All the arrangements worked exactly as planned and we really liked our six different accommodations, these were all very interesting with lots of character. The excursions were very well run and we also liked the more active trips that Rickshaw arranged eg white water rafting, zip lines and snorkelling as well as more traditional wildlife tours. Rickshaw also arranged car hire and we were very pleased with how this worked out.

We have just returned from a 2.5 week tour around Morocco. Ceri helped us plan our trip, which was challenging due to our time restraint and the vast area we wanted to cover. We feel like we have really experienced Morocco, managing to stay in 12 different places over this time. Thank you Ceri!

Great locations, amazing trips and great punctuality for transfers between locations. Special praise for Maquenque and Manuel Antonio, and very useful mid holiday “rest” on Samara beach.Amazing Costa Rica experience

Not too pushy and listened to the way we wanted to travel and explore

Great booking experience. Ceri has been so helpful throughout.

We had 3 and a half weeks to play with so wanted 2-3 nights in most places and a good rest at the end. Ceri helped us to achieve this-we really felt immersed in Colombian history and politics. Only 2 internal flights and 2 long but beautiful and comfortable coach journeys. The quality of the local guides was top notch and the few niggles we had were quickly sorted out by the local agent. Will return to S America
