Like for several others, the journey started in October 2021: laptop took 3 weeks and a couple of broken delivery promises to arrive. The laptop was faulty (i stopped testing after several keys not working and the screen having the wrong resolution). Promises of exchange/replacement carried on till December when I started to ask for a refund. Nothing happened so I pursued a refund through Paypal.
Cleverly, the refund was made and immediately cancelled which nevertheless completes the complaints process through Paypal :-(.
After giving notice I started Small Claims Court proceedings in April. No reaction from the company so I have escalated to a County Court Judgement, though I am almost certain this will not elicit a reaction either.
There have been umpteen emails that include excuses (financial, personal) and promises that never materialised, as well as a few phone calls with similar excuses and promises, as well as pleas to remove previous trustpilot reviews.
If you consider buying from this company check if the positive reviews are picking up again and seem genuine (to be fair the company performance seems to have dipped noticeably in the last part of 2021), otherwise avoid to save yourself money, time and hassle.

I have purchased a laptop and received it only 4 weeks later, however, the laptop I received is better than what I have paid for, so I am happy. It seems that the company is trustworthy, but delivery took 3 times more than the stated 5-7 working days, after calling him a number if times while waiting for the laptop to come. He did call me a day before it arrived, which was also promising.

If I could give less than 1 star then I would. I would advise you not to purchase a laptop from this company. I ordered a laptop in January 2022, and waited weeks for it to arrive. It became very clear through phone calls that the laptop I had initially ordered didn't exist, but I was promised various other options. I decided I wanted a refund rather than going down this road of substitutions and bargaining. I have been waiting on this refund for over a month, and despite the company saying the refund has been authorised I have received nothing back. Do not give your money to Refurbished Laptops.

*UPDATE as of February 2023:
I still have not received any money back from this company, and have essentially had the money I paid for a laptop stolen. I just received a request to review my review, as the company thinks it may not have been about them. I followed the trust pilot link from the company website in order to write this review. Again, I would advise anyone who is unsure - do not waste your time and money buying something from Refurbished Laptops.

bought a laptop, paid for it to be upgraded to a 1TB ssd, thought the price and everything looked good. got the laptop, it has significant damage to ports (i don't mind cosmetic damage on case but port damage affects the usage!). additionally it was not upgraded to the larger ssd as we paid for! instead i had to chase them constantly to deliver one to me, it took them 21 MONTHS to actually send a harddrive (which is what i opted for as i didn't want to send the laptop back and lose that too) and when it got to me it was just a cheap one from amazon, so definitely shouldn't have taken almost 2 YEARS TO DELIVER!

since then the computer now runs incredibly slowly and an IT specialist i consulted thinks it might have been a corrupt install on windows or deeper issues, meaning we will have to potentially purchase different parts, or even at this point a whole new laptop!

Please don't use this company.

This is now the second laptop I have bought from this company, laptop is in excellent condition good communications from company. my first laptop is still going strong after a year and a half used everyday.
i would recommend this company as an excellent seller and will purchase from them again when I require another laptop

Ordered a laptop, took a couple of weeks longer to arrive than advertised. Spoke to Sam and he made several promises with several excuses and he still had to be chased. Upon arriving the laptop was different to the one advertised. The only major difference was the HD capacity. Sam offered several weeks ago now to send out a external drive and despite chasing nothing has arrived. He no longer responds to any communication. Buyer beware. Would strongly recommend to look elsewhere.

My Acer laptop was delayed and as a good will gesture Sam had offered me a Razer, which is obviously better as for me it was key to get this on time because of my Son's birthday. After a few months of playing, there was an issue with the charger. Sam had simply replaced with a brand new charger. Excellent customer service, I would definitely go back.

I ordered two laptops from Refurbished Laptops. OK, they didn't arrive in 7 days. When contacted, Sam arranged for the laptops to be delivered within a couple of days. He also upgraded one laptop from SATA to SSD and installed MS Office on the other. Over and above compensation in my view. Both laptops work very well indeed. I have worked in IT for many, many years and unhesitatingly recommend Refurbished Laptops. Good kit, good service.

It all seems very dodgy. Ordered a laptop, paid extra for delivery. Nothing has shown. No payment shows on my PayPal. No transaction on my card. Thinking maybe I'd mucked up the order I went through the process again. Same procedure, laptop still shows in the trolley after checking out. Have I been robbed? Will I get two laptops? I have no idea.

The single worst experience I've had with any company, ever. Very long story short, I ordered two laptops in December 2021. Received no notifications of dispatch, phoned up 5 days later and received one the next day.

The other never arrived. After repeated cycles of calling, being promised delivery, waiting a couple of days, calling again, I requested a refund in early January. This was again promised but never processed. After threatening to report him (Sam is the only person working there) for fraud, he processed the refund. Which bounced.

I am now trying to recover the funds via my card provider, and will be going ahead with the fraud report. It's clear that this is a fly-by-night operation, which rarely touches any of the equipment it advertises on the site. Most likely he orders the machines, or various items like memory, after an order has been placed with him. He's very good at coming up with exotic excuses as to why things haven't happened, but not very good at the simple task of dispatching products that have been paid for.

Pretty much every review here mentions similar issues, even the good ones. Beware.

Unbelievable quality and value for money. This is my 2nd Dell laptop from Sam. If only his customer service was a little more customer focused I'd rate the company 6 stars! If my experience is anything to go by, don't expect delivery anywhere near the 7 days shown on the site and be prepared to chase up. Once you accept that's the way it is, all is rosy.

Prompt delivery. The laptop I bought had an issue with dead pixels on the screen. Sam is very responsive and I was quite impressed with the personal service he provides. Sending the laptop back was no hassle and he changed the screen and also the SSD and it works fine now. Will come again.

I had not received my laptop after a week and I spoke to Sam who sorted me out with a better PC than I bought. He also arranged next day delivery and I am very happy with the item he provided. Excellent service and great delivery!

Sam made, what I thought was impossible, happen. 2 laptops upgraded, dispatched and received within 3 days of ordering them. It was a tense few days but he pulled out all the stops. Great job.

Sam Is Great!
I am a partiularly picky and inexperienced PC user. Sam has sorted me out with a great PC, even providing a higher spec machine than I had ordered. He also helped out sorting out some drivers over the phone when I got in a panic.
I will definitely be back for more.
