Despite cancelling my policy three months early they insisted I pay the full years premium, threatening court action if I didn’t. I can’t see how this is even legal !! Be warned

We are sorry to receive your review Mr Dixon. However as we have discussed it is important to state that as your policy was in place for nearly 10 months there is no return premium due from the insurer as this was on a short term basis, which we fully confirmed prior to your taking out the cover. The short term basis that insurers use is very common with this type of commercial insurance and is not an aspect the Milestone as a broker have any control over. Under these circumstances as a business Milestone are unable to fund the shortfall ourselves.

I WOULD STRONGLY ADVISE ALL TAXI DRIVERS TO SEEK QUOTES FROM OTHER COMPANYS BEFORE RENEWING INSURANCE WITH THIS COMPANY.I OBTAINED SEVERAL QUOTES FROM TAXI BROKERS ADVERTISING ON THE INTERNET AND WAS TOTALLY SURPRISED BY ALL THEY WERE 700 POUNDS (YES SEVEN HUNDRED POUNDS)
