Beware the advert - you don't get the third one free on all cartridges - this is not made clear at all

The advert said 'Buy two get a third free' but this is only on certain cartridges and the website does not make this clear at all. Without the free one the price was the same as Amazon. I called to complain and waited for 18 minutes for the phone to be answered but then gave up and tried the chatbot option. The computer couldn't understand my issue so I called again on after the weekend only to be told in no uncertain terms that the offer was limited and that the website made it clear. It absolutely didn't. Any returns were at my expense so I am stuck with the goods. I shall never use this company again.

Ordered ink cartridges

Ordered ink cartridges. Tried one and found it to be incompatible with my printer. Contacted them by phone about returns. Couldn't afford lengthy call so I said I'd phone back as they wanted to talk me through printing process. Received an email asking me for photos of printer, etc to help solve problem. Did so. Have received only emails saying I'm in a queue. It's been 3 weeks now. Tried phoning again twice but it rang off so I can't speak to anyone. For a company that says it will try to reply within 24 hours this is unacceptable, I think.

Scam website

Received inks that had already been opened. Asked to return the items and was told i needed to wait for a returns label from their supplier then they could process my return. This was 3 weeks ago and i have received nothing despite contacting them weekly. This i a scam as far as i am concerned and i am £420 out of pocket. I bought the inks from printerinks not their supplier, so i should not have to wait for some random returns label. DO NOT use this website.

Trying to trace an order not received

Update (12th April) Still no reply from online chat. Their customer service phone now going dead after initial response from answering service.
I've initiated a dispute via my credit card company.

Update (11th April) Still heard nothing from Printerinks.com.

Next day (9th April); managed to finally get my phone call answered (after 45 minutes on hold), and was promised that my order would be traced and they'd email me. I'VE NOT HEARD ANYTHING FROM THEM. They took my money though they had no problems doing that. I am still having no luck getting anyone to answer my online chat, more than 24 hours later it's still saying "thank you, transferring you now"

8th April: Trying to trace an order not received. So far I've been waiting 45 mins for anyone to answer the online chat, and 40mins on hold to the customer service line. I wish I'd spent a bit more time looking at the 1-star reviews....

Appalling service!

Placed urgent order yesterday for over £600 worth of inks and paid for guaranteed next working day delivery. Nothing has arrived so I just called for an update and was told they have cancelled my order as they don't have the inks in stock. Why didn't anyone contact me to tell me this? I was also told it will take 7-10 working days to refund me. Appalling service. Unacceptable response. I asked to speak to someone higher and was told there wasn't anyone. I'm now left with an urgent print job, no ink, and no funds to buy ink elsewhere!

Slow delivery, zero support

Order placed 5/3/2024. Chased 13/3/2024 - got ticket, but no other response. Told that further emails would just push the issue to the back of the queue ! Finally received 19/3/2024, against an original promise of 48 hour shipping.
No apology, or any follow-up, from Support. Very dissatisfied. I've used this company a lot, and never had a problem like this.
NB. A lot of the Support email is in German .....

Missing items with no support

Paid for next day delivery / rush shipping, it was a day later.
More than 50% of the cartridges missing from order over two deliveries.
Support don't understand what the problem is.
Support have then continued to ignore us.
Now moved to a different supplier.

Thank you for your review.

Our sincere apologies that you only received part of your order. We always look to make our stock availability to be as accurate on webpage as possible. Unfortunately in this case a number of orders were made for the same item near enough at the same time and this did affect your order.

Looking at the tracking the part order was delivered the day after it was made arriving on the 7th March (order made the 6th March).

Once you reported the issue our team did chase this for you and were in contact with you throughout. They have organised the remaining cartridges to be delivered to you.

We of course will be refunding the postage for the delivery and rush processing as the full order was not delivered on time.

We will of course look into ways in which this can be avoided in the future.

My ink cartridge would not fit my…

My ink cartridge would not fit my printer but I had opened the packet although not taken the strip from the cartridge. I tried to ring to find out what to do but was unable to make contact!

We are sorry to hear that you have had an issue with your order and apologise.

All our cartridges are designed to fit into the printers they are designed for and there are a few things that can stop a cartridge fitting into the printer such as, the transport clip not being removed or positioning the cartridge in the cartridge carriage correctly.
Our telephone lines are open between 9am to 7pm Monday to Friday, during very busy periods it may take a short period before you are connected to a customer service agent. We do also have a online chat service on our webpage that can be easily accessed as well as our email service contactus@printerinks.com. Anyone of these will be answered by an agent during business hours and they will be happy to assist with your issue.

10 days and counting waiting for an…

On 10th March I wrote
10 days and counting waiting for an order that the website advised would be with me in 2-3 days.
No useful feedback via chat or email so far.
Today, a full 22 days after lacing the order, the package arrives - pretty poor for a 2-3 day delivery.
I didn't recieve a tracking code, because I checked out as a guest. I raised the issue with Printer Inks several times and was consistently told I would get an update within 48 hours - I got NOTHING. I was even told that responding to the emails issues as a result of a "ticket" being raised would put the "ticket" at the back of the queue for investigation - bizarre.
In the meantime I ordered from elsewhere and got prompt delivery so now have an unwanted cartridge.
If I could rate this supplier as 0 stars I would
