I submitted a claim on my alloy insurance on 26th July to Premia solutions. The online form was quick and simple to complete.

I was then contacted via email 27th July to say that I would be contacted shortly about a date and time for my cars repair. Later that day I was contacted by SRS Alloys to say that they could have someone out to my house to repair my alloys the next day.

On 28th July a lovely guy called Kyle came out with a van and completed the alloy repair on my driveway. I am delighted with the quick and efficient service I have received. My car now looks good as new.

Fast & efficient

Overall a positive experience on my claim following car theft and insurance write off. Although a long wait on the phone or a few days awaiting response by email. The team were able to provide clear information. One details were provided back to them, very prompt payout. Overall a good experience.

Initially a guy was sent out to repair the small dent and paint work where a car door had been opened on my car. The repairer arrived at lunchtime on a Friday and literally was only there for a matter of minutes and said he could fill the dent but it would be better to send someone else out, which is where the problem came (he did polish out the paint). Because of my location, Premia couldn't find any company able to do the repair. I have two addresses, one near London but my main one in Wales but even with both addresses they still struggled to find someone for me and never managed to give me anyone to do the repair.
In the end, I looked on Google and found a company within minutes. He came out the following day and done a great job.
All in all I found Premia a ball ache, throughout the whole process. The bill I paid wasn't expensive at £80.00 and even had to jump through loops to get my money back.

It was very difficult to make an appointment to have the car repaired, lots of phone calls, no one returning my calls, lots of misinformation, the first appointment was cancelled the day before. The repair was supposed to take 2 days, on the second day I was told it would take another day, even though I had informed them when accepting the appointment that I would be flying to Poland that day. I was told to pick up the car at 12, that everything would be ready, car and paperwork, when I got there I had to wait over 30 minutes, as neither were ready, it was all very stressful, plus I had to pay £25 a day for what was called a courtesy car, I had to explain to the manager that courtesy means free.
