**UPDATE** It's now 23rd April & despite responding to preloved on here & several more emails to customer services, my 2 adverts still haven't been renewed or gone live, nor have Ivstill had any reply besides the brief msg below to which I responded??ABSOLUTE DISGRACE. Zero ads go live after renewing them & zero customer service despite paying for silver account which gets renewed each year?? Time to close my account I think before they charge me again.
*UPDATE..It's now 12th April still my adverts have not been renewed or gone live in nearly 6 wks?. They never reply via customer service but reply on here then still do nothing so stats show they respond* No point having a website
So after waiting over a month for my ad to go live & contacting them on repeat I only got a reply because I posted on here & even then it took over a wk more. Like many others on here just said they couldn't find my account? Yet they can take payments & msg telling you to renew yr ad to the top. However when u do this it's another month before it goes live again?? So I listed another ad & once again 3 wks nearly & still not gone live or replied to my emails ?? It's now Easter not sold anything because ads don't go live hence my reason for another honest disappointing review hoping this will get them to at least respond. So we pay for a subscription on this site. IT'S NOT FREE & IT'S ABSOLUTELY USELESS. I need to renew & update my 1st ad but if I do this it will take over a month to go live again. I think this site needs to seriously be investigated as this seems to be a common issue. Other sites take 10mins to an hr to review & post ads. Don't waste your time or money!!!
**UPDATE**DEAR STEPHEN FROM PRELOVED. You replied on here yet nobody at preloved can ever reply directly. I gave all the information you asked for yet still my 2 ads ar not live?? Nor has anyone from preloved replied to my emails??? Something seriously going on with this website when everyone has to leave a review on here just to get a response. Still my 2 ads not bn renewed yet they remind u to keep renewing yr ads then rgey take weeks/months to go live?? Zero customer service. Appalling given I paid to be a full member each year.

My listing stating awaiting for approval for a more than a week. What a waste of time. Never will use the site again

I have now been waiting almost 3 weeks for my adverts to be approved. Many attempts to message the site and no reply. Rally really bad communication. Such a shame as I use this site a lot.

Extremely frustrating!
Created an ad for a snake nearly 2 months ago! After a couple of weeks it got rejected for pictures not being recent... THEY WERE! So edited the ad to add more RECENT pictures... and still in pending (reached out and got nothing back) so deleted the ad today and instantly got the same rejection (even with picture I had taken today!) Reached out AGAIN but won't hold my breath for a response

I didn’t even want to give this site 1 star but unfortunately you cannot put none which is what it deserves! I added my daughters prom dress to this site last year, I searched for a while for a good site to put it on and come across prom preloved uk. Everything looked great over 9 thousand users and legit photos of dresses wanting to be sold. I received an email saying someone wanted to purchase my dress and had put a deposit down, I clicked the link on the email and it sent me to a page asking for my card details & saying I needed atleast £300 on my card to verify. Straight away that’s a red flag I am the seller not the buyer. Then the amount changed to £250, I sent them a message to have a full understanding of this and got no reply. There’s no proper way of contacting whoever’s behind the shit show of a site, Therefore I asked for the pictures of the dress to be removed off the site and was told if that was to happen my account would be locked and I would be given a penalty of £150?! I was given no information on who wanted to purchase the dress, how much deposit they put down, absolutely nothing! For me that’s too many red flags. I am now going to have to cancel my card in case they kept my details and try to take money from it. Also seen a lot of reviews saying it’s a scam. You try do a nice thing and people have nothing better to do than try scam people. Absolutely appalling!!!

What is wrong with Preloved??? All the messages both to and from my account are garbled! So I sent them a message about it. Did I get a response? No. So I tried to find another way to contact them. Is there a way? Not as far as I can tell. All I want is to find out why this is happening, but there seems to be no way! If they cannot be bothered to answer enquiries, they might at least make the site work properly!

Holly was very helpful when I was seeking help when trying to find my advert after it had become live.

Verification email repeatedly not sent despite multiple attempts.
I contacted customer services and they (Holly)said they will confirm my email address.this took over a week to do.

It still doesn't work. I give up now, I'll look elsewhere.

I have spent almost 2 days, waiting for my ad to go live. I am told that it is down to an editorial review. One thing to point out. When writing the ad, I was informed that it wouldn't go live as I didn't say how buyers could contact me. In the terms of this site, they ask you NOT to put any contact details in your ad. I noticed many reviews on trust pilot talk about preloved telling members that they couldn't find their account. Now wait a minute! We get an email telling us that the money we have paid for membership has been received & that we can start responding to ads straight away. Now either we are hallucinating or someone has their facts wrong. Which is it? I am waiting to get started & would appreciate someone reacting to my situation.

Newsflash!
The item I am trying to sell has a model number but in addition to that, it has a code that relates to that model. There are 2 sizes of this item and I wanted people to know which one I was selling. The website who's name is a river, sells this item and I used the model number they stated. If you didn't know better, you could say that it looked like a telephone number. If you remember, I said something about not stating contact details in your ad.

Well, I created a new ad but this time, I didn't use the model number I'd previously used. I used the code instead. This doesn't look like a telephone number. Guess what?  "Thank you! Success. Your advert will appear online, within the next 10 minutes"

So let me be the 1st one to say I might have jumped to the wrong conclusion, by going straight into ANGRY mode. It may be something to do with how the site recognises model numbers. Whatever the cause, I want to retract my criticism of Preloved and hope that will be a faithful customer of the site. Every day is a school day.

I tried Preloved some years ago and didn't have much success, but as my account is still active, I thought I'd give it another try with a view to membership if it works well.

I submitted 7 ads on 16/12/25. However, only 3 got listed quickly; the remainder showed as 'Awaiting Review' and remained like this for more than three weeks.

I submitted a query via their 'Contact Preloved' webform, but didn't get a response or even an automated acknowledgement.

I tried again the first week of January '26, but the same thing happened. …and again, I got no response when reaching out for help.

What's the point of having a 'Contact Preloved' page and inviting users to "...please contact us" if you're just going to ignore messages?

...and, before you post a template response saying you don't know who I am and can't find any messages, my account name is Vangleton, so take a look and contact me directly first.

**UPDATE 18/01/26**

As you can see, despite the note in my review quoting my account name, 'Natalia' has posted the expected canned response claiming "...we can't find your account".

Worse than that, she's asking for an 'order number'! What is she talking about? No such parameter exists in the Preloved ad listing procedure or is mentioned anywhere on the site.

...and my ads are still stuck in 'Awaiting Review' a week later!

Accordingly, I've dropped my rating down to 1 star.

Placed a advert weeks ago still not listed you ask me for more information which I've sent 4 times now and still you reply with can't find my account but you can find it when it needs a renewal . to anyone that doesn't want to sell anything place a advert on preloved it won't get listed

I have full membership and have submitted 2 adverts during the last month. They are STILL subject to editorial review, so repeatedly I have asked Preloved via their complaints "system" why the delay. I have no yet received an answer or even an acknowledgement.
Preloved sent me confirmation of full membership on Dec 17th., so why is it they say they are unable to locate my account?

I have had so many issues wiht preloved. I have had an ad waiting for approval for 3 weeks now and have sent many messages to ask why, not one has been answered.
They constantly send emails saying 'Disaster your account is lapsing and you need to re sign up or upgrade', Everytime I have upgraded my account, it doesnt upgrade it creates another account, which they dont tell you, so you end up with more accounts than you are paying for. Just dreadful the whole experience wiht them.

Been trying to list adverts for over a week still not listed I've sent loads of messages but no reply from them I decided to list my birds on a different website

Massive frustration and Dangerous
I created an account on Preloved UK. Apparently my identity needs to be verified by Yoti. I had to submit my passport scan but that was not enough, I had to scan my face, only to be notified that my verification has failed. I am extremely upset that this system has collected so much personal data only to tell me they have failed the identity verification. And guess what, there is no contact point - their help page takes you round and round to nowhere. Avoid if you can.
