Just downloaded the app very good firm didn’t expect to find something like this outside of a big city

I ordered a taxi for 815 the taxi arrived at 7.55 and text me but i didn't see text till 8.07 but charged me £6 for waiting , arrived 20 mins early .

Left my intoxicated friend ( 20s, female ) alone on the motorway on the grass verge at 2am because she thought she didn’t have her card on her…when she actually had it in her pocket. She had to walk on the edge of the motorway from aylesford to leybourne and got clipped by a car once getting to a slip road.. the person was kind enough to take her to hospital. All because the taxi driver ditched her. Alone. How scary, illegal to do and horrible treatment.

Reading the other reviews is so sad realising other people have had poor experiences but i have used them twice now in west malling area and not only have they been punctual the staff have been so warm and friendly. Its the only taxi service ill use in west malling area as west malling taxis has let me down constantly

I was getting in a taxi on the way home with my baby I hadn’t even got the car seat strapped in and the driver started driving without even asking if it was strapped in yet. I made him aware of it and he said he couldn’t stop because there was a car behind him. We didn’t even get an apology it was like the driver didn’t care that he had just put a baby’s life at risk. This happened two days ago and yet haven’t even received any contact from the company to make sure that baby is ok the company didn’t even want to do anything about it the best they could offer me was they would have a word with the driver. If anyone gets a taxi with a silver hyundi 140 number plate GV17AAF book a new taxi cause the driver doesn’t care about your safety and will drive off without doing a humane gesture of checking to make sure everyone was strapped in ok. I’ve tried reporting this to the company and the police but no one wants to do anything about it cause it’s supposedly legal for a taxi driver to drive off when people aren’t strapped in I wouldn’t advise going with this company if you need a taxi the workers DONT CARE

Very very poor service. Cannot rely on them.

Had a Heathrow pickup booked for 07:30 am, place2place text and confirmed the day before landing.

I landed. No show. Place2place called saying sorry, we messed up the booking he is on his way. 2 hours later, still no sign of taxi.

I ended up booking an Uber, which arrived in 5 minutes and was £30 cheaper.

I’ll never ever use place2place again.

The worst taxi company out there, avoid like the plague they are absolute modern day Dick Turpins, they charged us £30.00 for a 6 mile journey, I understand everything has gone up but seriously £5 a mile is not on, don’t use them if you can use another company

Absolutely awful. Quoted me £17 then charged my card for £30.50. Said it was time and a half after midnight. Invoice clearly shows it to be before midnight. It was only a 3 mile trip. Absolute cowboys

No stars. Disgusting cowboy outfit. On collection from home hit neighbours car denied it even though she has it on door cam. Picked us up nearly 2 hours late we were stranded at stanstead not knowing what was happening. Called and sent panicking texts to place to place. When driver turned up we were charged an extra standard £10 waiting time. For them even though we were doing the waiting. Called the office manager next day. No apology for not contacting us to see if we got home OK after all the panicking.i want the 10.00 back. He said he would contact driver last Monday and get back to me just Called him it's Friday. His excuse iv been to busy so no I havant contacted driver. Refused to give me company owners last name. Il find him on company's house
And let him know what I think of his staff.

Accepted our booking to meet our train two days before. No taxi on arrival.Telephoned and was told they didn’t have any cars.. why accept the booking? Terrible service and attitude - do not deserve to be in business.

Awful service - a complete let down - Got a taxi this evening and was advised by company driver just to call when we needed to be collected and when we called back we’re advised cannot assist not their problem and they hung up! Be careful using this company !!! Disgusting service and definitely do not recommend!

Use them regularly and when need them most they don't bother to turn up.
Don't try to call them to complain as you get a mouthful down the phone.
They will lose £500 a year from us for being short sighted and not turning up when booked an hour previously. You know who your regular customers are surely .....
