Appointment was rushed. Didn’t do what I asked. Curls fell out.

Michelle was fantastic. I can’t praise her enough and the Peter marks staff in Athlone. Always love having my hair done here.

I had the pleasure of meeting Toni in Blanchardstown shopping centre Peter Mark. She immediately knew how to cut my short hair. I was delighted with her professionalism. A very pleasant and worthwhile experience Thank you Toni I’ll be back A Campbell

The most horrific experience, Peter Mark Blanchardstown shopping centre , Level 1.
Came to do a full head of highlights on 26.08.2034 they soaked me in toner, to cover their dodgy job, did some hair treatment, which I never asked them to do within an hour - developed allergic reaction, itchy red scalp , stiff neck, ended up with GP currently on steroids.
On the 27. 08.2023 , spend 40 min trying to wash off whatever they put on my hair, all care products and toner . To reduce amount of allergen , as I was told by doctor to do so.
When toner was gone, highlights are patchy, nothing on the ends.left and right sides - like in Yin and yang.
Manager called, victim blaming was done, I was told that it was my own shampoo that caused an allergic reaction, even it occurred within an hour , after I left the salon. Disgusting, disrespectful, disgraceful and most of it UNPROFESSIONAL SERVICE , Unprofessional approach and untrained staff, otherwise I do not know how to explain that outcome and level of care

Very disappointing, colour not right, bad customer service from Peter Marks Sutton. Over a week trying to to resolve already, the area manager cannot help as the person who does the roster for appointments is on hols. I have been told when they can fit me in to discuss and look at me again, it will be a Dublin City salon appointment only, and at earliest another week when they are back. Time off work for me, disappointment, embarrassment and condescending treatment by an in-house staff member for €200. Not happy

I have been going to Bronagh in Peter Marks in Blanchardstown Village Branch for many many years and I have always found her to be very good at her job. I am never disappointed with the result of my highlights and cut and blow dry. Bronagh is so efficient and nothing is ever a problem and she always listens when I tell her what I want done. I must also say all the other staff members are so friendly and welcoming when I go to visit. The atmosphere in the salon is great and it's a pleasure to experience the good vibes there.

I took my 5 year old daughter to Peter Marks in the pavilions shopping centre swords last Thursday and the girls were all so welcoming and made her feel so special getting her first proper hair cut. Jodie washed her hair and was so friendly and kind. She made her a hot chocolate and made her feel so special. Sofia cut her hair and was so patient and kind and nice and explained the whole process to her and to me as her Mom so I would know what way it was going to be cut. Top marks for Peter Marks. Not only was the hair cut 100% but the customer experience was also 100%. Thank you..Aine

Honestly, I'm utterly shocked at how BAD my recent experience was and how unprofessional PM proved to be. I visited the one in Rathmines for a literal TBAR of blonde balayage with some dimension throughout only to leave with mucky, chocolate brown, dull as dishwater hair. For reference, I was blonde before the appointment. The next day, I had called back for a "correction" only to have the toner stripped to leave even duller if slightly lighter hair. Still unhappy after paying €150 for the world's worst hair, I rang the manager in Rathmines for a correction. I was booked in for a redo on the following Sat in pm grafton, complimentary as discussed, only to be handed a bill after a consultation (the stylist in PM grafton St agreed colour was terrible). When I explained that this was complimentary, I was told I was given a refund at first from pm rathmines (never happened), then I was informed that I was given a gift card by pm rathmines instead, (never happened). They reluctantly did my hair after some time of back and forth and it did look a fair bit better than what I left pm Rathmines with, but a few weeks on my hair is a dreadful mix of orange tones with stripey blonde 80s looking highlights. A total mess, I've booked a new salon with recommendations from friends for future colour apts, bye PM!

I have been going to Jen in Peter Marks on O’Connell Street since 2017. I first went in with very damaged/broken hair from bleaching. I felt really bad about the damage that I had done to my hair and was really nervous the first time I went in. Jen was very kind and didn’t make me bad at all, made me feel totally at ease!! As result of Jen’s hard work, I now have amazing healthy, shiny copper hair. That I love. Always a lovely experience when I get my hair done and couldn’t recommend Jen enough.

I have what I call stubborn hair won’t do what I want! I hate going to hairdressers but I popped into o Connell street and met a hairdresser called Jen who listened to me and did exactly what I wanted. I was delighted with it. I was so nervous but she just chatted away to me and put me at ease. She has put a plan in place for my hair colour (gray) and the cut is brilliant.. I will be back!

I've been going to Peter Mark Liffey valley now for 5 years Sometimes I try different salons nearer to where I live but I always end up going back to Peter Mark . Nobody else cuts my fine hair like Mairead always making it look twice as thick and the volume always lasts. Rodney knows exactly what colour and highlights suit me best. The staff overall are welcoming and attentive but if you want your hair cut properly the senior stylists here are second to none

I had the most horrific experience at this salon and it goes way beyond personal humiliation.

I will NEVER go near such amateurs again.

I’ve been going to Peter mark, Newry for 17 yrs but will never be back.
My usual stylist had moved and unfortunately today I was left feeling utterly humiliated at the basin when the stylist having already looked at my hair and agreed to cut it said “ No, I’m not cutting that” for all to see and hear.
I had a small cut on my scalp ….approx 3x4 mm, very small, which she noticed as she was about to wash my hair.
Stylists have been working with my scalp there for years, I get stressed related spots on it, it’s been much worse before and never has anyone refused to cut my hair for me!
It could have been handled so much better.
I most definitely won’t be back to be humiliated again!

After not having a great experience in both Liffey valley and Lucan I gave Peter Mark one last shot in Blanchardstown Level 2 and delighted I did! Toni was super, asked if she could recommend something and we went with her idea for my short hair - spot on! Definitely going back to see Toni again ☺️

I had the most traumatic experience on Saturday last with my autistic daughter. She had braids done going on holidays and left them in too long so one side of hair was matted. I rang and explained that morning that hair was matted and it would take time. I was told no problem. Stylist didn't even try to get knots out. Granted it was bad but they didn't even try. I was told by manager that her hair was too damaged and they wouldn't touch it. I was told to buy a detailer and work at it myself and then come back. Was told in front of my teenager who has autism it may need to be shaved off at one side. She has the most fantastic head of long hair and she's so proud of it. To say we were both traumatised is an understatement. I went to a different salon and they saw how distressed she was so fitted her in eventhough they were busy within an hour with patience her hair was back to original state. Peter marks just couldn't be bothered doing it. I will never set foot inside the salon again

If I could give minus stars I would….booked to get my hair done for a wedding booked online for the Waterford store as there was several weddings on the same day on my area so my usual hair dresser was booked up so was delighted I got an appointment somewhere got a reminder text the day before when I arrived at my appointment brought to my seat gown on offered tea or coffee then told they can’t do an upstyle as I have hair extensions said they can’t do it they might damage them and they didn’t apply them can only do hair with tape extensions not bonds I said I have nano beads not bonds no where did it state when booking it in the text that they can’t do hair with extensions the stylish was sympathetic but the manager was pure rude never would set foot in there again!

I was in Peter marks recently to get a cut and highlights done and I had such a wonderful experience. Laura and Kate are so lovely and pleasant and they did a beautiful job. I would highly recommend them.

Had such a disappointing experience. Booked in to get T bar highlights which by description covers highlighting at the parting and both sides around your face leaving the back un-coloured). The stylist only did the top part & when I raised it she said sorry thats our policy, and had the audacity to tell me she had used extra foils as I have thick hair so I should be happy she did that!! So I went home with roots on both sides of my face! This is so embarrassing and looks hideous. I have never experienced this in any other professional salon! So now I will have to go elsewhere to get my roots around my face sorted. Over €100 spent to just highlight the top of my head. Never again! Not only do they false advertise T Bar highlighting but if you are not careful you will be hit with a massive bill as there are so many hidden costs. Save your money & don’t bother with this place. Someone needs to teach them the definition of the letter T - front and sides!!!

My first and last time going to Peter Marks in Navan. I have short hair and was getting a colour and cut. With hindsight I should have spoken up about the lack of care and attention, I didnt, so here it is now. Firstly was not shown a colour chart, casually asked by stylist 'same colour ?'wasnt offered a tea or coffee, the junior who washed and shampood hair literally did not speak one word, which can be a good thing but you know, pass yourself and ask if water is right temperature. Wasnt shown back of hair with mirror which is usual practice in other salons. Immediately brought up to pay... thats €110.50 please, ( bear in mind I have short hair and just got colour and cut in record time!) Me... I was told on phone €98....reply: you had some cut...cash or card , all in one breath. Paid .. somewhat in shock at the whole disastrous experience, then... would you like to make another apt!! you can guess the answer to that!!!
Have since realised , hence this review now, my hair was not cut properly, and need to go to another salon now to rectify the damage. Its galling to say the least to have paid so much for such a bad experience.
