Fabulous service at my local store, I had to return an item and order the next size up, all the staff were friendly and approachable. It was Kim who sorted me out she did my refund then checked online for next size as they didn't have stock of item. Didn't realise I could order through the store, plus she introduced me to the Peacocks loyalty card and explained how it work's. All her supporting staff were also very good with other customers from what I saw, whilst friendly to me.
Now I myself have worked in retail and it's alway's the negatives people home in on but I was so impressed by Kim and her staff I had to write this review.
If I was out shopping for the day and every shop was as lovely as the Gosport Store what a pleasure it would be, so 10/10 Ladies.

Went into Peacocks Nuneaton and purchased some ladies jeans and the sales assistant debbie who served me was very ignorant i use Peacocks quite often and have always found her not very helpful at all personally thts not good customer service.Ive always brought things from Peacocks and the other staff are always helpful.

I recently shopped online as I am…
I recently shopped online as I am disabled and it’s difficult to travel. I ordered some shorts and underwear for myself. The items arrived and were okay except that the knickers were massive and way too big. They looked at least two sizes bigger than the size I was expecting. I didn’t try them on as I could clearly see they would be too big for me.
I read the instructions and returned them via Evri only to receive an email saying that I could not receive a refund because underwear including vests and bras could not be accepted due to hygiene. Fair enough if you’ve worn them, but these items I sent back are still with labels on and obviously unworn. I am so disappointed. Apparently my options are: have Peacocks destroy them ( how environmentally conscious is that?)
Allow Peacocks to give them to charity.
Or arrange to collect the items back from a Peacocks store.
I have elected to collect. My nearest store is over 40 miles away, so I’m not happy considering how difficult it is for me to travel. However I’m determined to get the items back so that I can at least personally sell them for my favourite charity- at least that way I’ll know that some good has come out of it.
I will never shop with Peacocks again. My advice is to avoid their online shop because sizing is way out. And I guess you’ll have to stand in one of their shops and try and measure the knickers before you buy!! Whatever you do don’t dare stick a leg in or you’ll be stuck with them forever.

Purchased a e-gift card to send to my daughter's mum for mother's day ,the link to claim it doesn't work and I've rang multiple times only to be fobbed off ,it's been 10 days now and I've had no communication from them, !!! I've now reported it to the ombudsman

very disappointed. bought a pair of boots in january 2026 in store , boots fell apart within a few days. i emailed head office customer services to complain. i asked for the boots to be repaired or replaced. given royal runaround . told as a physically disabled customer to go back to the shop notwithstanding the shop closed . pointed this out. told to go to anther store . i did. as i only had the bank receipt . told to email head office again. staff at the store very helpful and pointed out the series number of boots. so provided the information again. still no refund. staff very pleasant but i am left with boots i cannot wear. endless same emails. very pleasant but..../ ceo did not bother once to reply.

This is following an incident of two white women discriminating based on religion and looks. They followed my friends around the store the minute they walked in- very disgraceful. To think these events are still occurring in 2026 is very upsetting. Trust me when I tell you nobody stealing your ugly horrible clothes. I hope they get fired and have horrible days ahead
Serious Safety Concern and No Response After Child Injury
Would give zero stars if I could. I am extremely disappointed with how a serious incident involving my young child was handled at this retailer.
While in the children’s clothing section, my two-year-old daughter was injured by a low-positioned clothing fixture, resulting in a cut to her chin that bled heavily. What followed was a complete lack of appropriate response from staff.
There was no accessible first aid kit on the shop floor, no trained assistance offered, and no proper first aid provided. I was given a single loose plaster from a drawer, with no assurance it was sterile, and no checks regarding allergies. No accident report was completed at the time.
The following day, I returned and found that the area had not been properly cleaned or addressed, which I found very concerning from a safety perspective as my daughters skin was still on the fixtures.
I submitted a formal complaint and was advised I would receive a response within 28 days. That deadline has now passed, and I have received no response a week on.
I will be escalating this to the company director and HSE.
As a result of this incident, my daughter has been left with a visible scar, and I am currently seeking medical assessment regarding its permanence.
I would strongly urge the company to review its health and safety procedures, staff training, and incident response protocols—particularly in areas intended for children.
Very disappointing experience.

The shop assistant in Ridgeway, Plympton was friendly and took the time to fold my items neatly and precise I thanked her for folding them so neatly and she replied "I always do" I told her she folded them the way I do at home.
