I ordered a pair of gloves in XXL on a Friday because they were clearly showing as in stock. Five days later, I received an email saying they were not actually in stock and that a refund would be processed, which could take up to five days to reach me.

When I asked why the refund couldn’t be returned as quickly as the payment was taken, they quoted a law claiming they were required to refund it to the original payment card. After looking into this myself, I found their explanation misleading and replied with the relevant details. I never received a response.

So here I am, over a week later — no gloves, no refund, and no further communication.

What makes this worse is that the XXL size is still showing as “in stock” on their website, while every other size is listed as out of stock. That doesn’t inspire confidence.

A very disappointing experience and a valuable lesson learned. I would avoid this company.

I placed an order on patrol boots. Order was confirmed and ready for shipping then I got a notification a few days later saying that they don’t actually have my boots in stock and they’ve cancelled my order.

These remain amongst my most favourite and trusted online stores for buying duty boots and all kinds of other great bits and pieces from really. I especially like their rucksacks and daysack and holdall bag ranges. Things always arrive quite fast and well packaged. Customer service here is exceedingly good, provided by dedicated folks with a real genuine interest in their customers needs. Which you don't see in many places these days honestly elsewhere. Always love to look through the website for bargains and urgent needs. Very good supplier indeed. Thoroughly recommended. Some military and outdoors kit lines stocked along with police and security kit lines. Good range.

Ordered a set of boots, they arrived quickly with no fuss and fit really well

Ordered a new pair of Haix footwear on a Monday, by Thursday they where on my feet. They are excellent and Patrol store again have surpassed with selling quality kit at affordable prices.

I’ve ordered a few pairs of boots off Patrol Store, delivery has also been quick. I’ve had issues with the boots at times - not Patrol stores fault. Ruby has been excellent and really helpful. When I’ve needed to speak to anyone or request a refund etc, responses are very quick! Refunds are also very quick!

I’m very impressed with this company and I will continue to purchase work boots off there.

Terrible service, order something pay for it, I don't know how happened but they told me my address is wrong and royal mail returned it back to the sender, I call to find out what happened why the address is wrong, cause this is not first time I am buying something from this company, and never had any issues till today. So the resolution they give me is to pay delivery charges one more time so I could have the items back.. what are you talking about?? Not my mistake here obviously but, they are trying to convince me that I didn't put my address correctly. Not professional guys sorry!

Quality products great service I love this company

I purchased two security notebooks for a friend and was sent two NHS trust note books,with Royal United hospital's Bath NHS foundation trust printed on them.

Selling NHS property is not professional and I have reported the company to trading standards.
Next they will be selling police notebooks and anybody found in procession of police property will be prosecuted but this company does not care as long as they have your money.

OK. In June 2023 I ordered and paid for a pair of HEMS trousers. Four months later, having even FORGOTTEN that I'd ordered and paid for a pair, I ordered and paid for ANOTHER pair. In early July 2024 (!) out of the blue, two pairs of HEMS trousers are delivered. But, the wrong size. I return them same day with a POSTER size note saying please exchange them BOTH for a larger size, 34" x 34". The following week, one pair is delivered. Where is the other pair, size 34" x 34" I ring to ask last week? Oh, they apologise. We've got them in stock. We'll send you the second pair. The pair arrive today. THEY ARE THE WRONG SIZE AGAIN OMG WHAT AM I TO DO NEXT????

Ordered a pair of boots, the day before they were to be delivered I got an e mail saying they didn't activate have them in stock despite the computer saying they were in stock. That left me 48hrs to find and arrange a new pair but in the meantime the refund can take up to 10 days for some reason (it definitely doesn't take them 10 days to take your money, no rush to return it though)
Absolutely joke of a company, happy to leave you with no boots and no refund for a week and a half, I'll never use them again.

The transaction went well and the item was delivered in good time. However I had to return the item as it wasn’t right for me. Returning the item has cost me £14. £7.99 for delivery and a £5.25 “return fee”. I’ve never seen anything like this before. I’ll never use Patrol Store again as it’s not worth the risk of the item not fitting etc. it will cost you. Waste of money and left disappointed.

Absolutely poor customer service - I purchased a pair of grafter boots from patrol store - £60 - I wore on 12 occasions - leather came off - relaxed on warranty - I wore the next pair on 25 occasions bare in my I split my time between office and out on patrol - same issue with leather coming off. Patrol store come back saying they can’t do anything - I can pay £18 for the leather to be tested for any faults. Essentially they are saying it’s scuff marks. How about it’s poor quality!!!

DO NOT BUY from them - they don’t care and just want their money

Absolute waste of TIME! I ordered a pair of boots from this store with next working day delivery. I didn't hear a thing once I'd completed my payment. I had to email them on the day the delivery was scheduled to come to be told they don't even have the item in stock and they haven't sent anything, not even the other items from my order. Now I've got to have to find somewhere else to obtain shoes for tonight, jokers.

Boots are fine but paid for next day delivery and it took five days for boots to arrive. They don’t respond via email when you query the whereabouts of items
