Great service from Optical express. End to end care, advice and support. Better than 20 20 vision following the Lens Replacement, op was painless. Fatema was great at organising everything.

Arrived for a cataract consultation at the Uxbridge location. A verh fine location not on a high street but in a very modern , air condition office environment.

Greeted at reception with a short wait before introduced to Sania. Star young lady who took me thru through tests aplenty. Lots of questions answered to my satisfaction.

Handed over for more detailed discussion and more vision tests with knowledgeable Gulfam. Again assured me of more questions I had.

Decided to go ahead with surgery in the coming weeks at their london location,

A throughly delightful day with the consultants and looking forward to something I should have committed to ages sgo.

My experience with opticalExpress was fantastic from the 1st free consultation to the surgery and immediate aftercare.
Initially I was sceptical about the procedure but after seeing Shezna at GrtPortlandStreet [london] I was immediately impressed and assured. Even when the surgery got postponed and relocated to Harley Street the communication was good and remained thorough.
I had my surgery morning of 20july2026 the procedure was 100% pain free [there is no pain at all, you simply stare at the lightshow happening in your eye/s thats it , even that felt therapeutic! 10 minutes each eye and done! DR Radwan was excellent i recommend him whilst his support team of nurses were excellent too. My recovery has been fast pain free and as expected after my 24hr check up with the nurses. I was looking at my work monitor Monday morning seeing things without glasses already slight blurring and minimal glaring but nothing to be concerned with or uncomfortable! Apparently this is all very very normal within the healing process as to is the mild sensitivity I have but nothing sunglasses or tinted glasses cannot help. I 100 percent recommend doing the procedure with opticalexpress and would do it all.over again if there ever was a need to...but thats the best thing the replacement lenses are for life for good ! Oh! Many people think you cannot see ! AT NO POINT DO YOU LOSE EYESIGHT NOT EVEN FOR A SECOND! You can see the treatment happening in your eye by way of the LIGHTSHOW I referred to. There's 100% no pain at all you feel absolutely nothing due to the amazing eye drops anesthetic thats used. I just cannot wait for results to be maximised after 4to 6 weeks

Had a very good experience at the St Albans branch, particularly Jack and Sue were very helpful and informative about the procedure. I had lasik surgery 4 weeks ago and the results are amazing!

Visited Dartford clinic for a consultation today with Hardin and James and I will say that they were both lovely, professional and very helpful!!! Hardip answered all of my questions and concerns, put them all at rest, can’t wait to have my surgery!!!

I had the surgery so I did not need to ware glasses all the time . It’s working really well since the day after surgery . Mr Mathew the surgeon was very professional and put me at ease throughout . Sharon did a great job doing all my test’s before and after the surgery.

I had my eye test done at the Leeds white rose branch, i was so impressed by the staff member Maleehah she was so kind and was so helpful as well. She helped me choose some glasses and made sure they fit me perfectly. I had my eye test done my Poonam who was really kind as well.I will definitely be coming back in the future to buy more glasses from here.

Excellent Patient Care
I have had a pleasure to be patient of Optical Express for one and half year. I had a bilateral cataract surgery with them. My patient advisor was Victoria, along with Carie and Keiden. Victoria answered all my concerns and questions satisfactorily. Sometimes my questions were repeatedly the same but Victoria always calmed me down and always told me to relax. She understood that this was my first surgery and thus I was apprehensive. For a patient advisor to have emotional intelligence is important and Victoria has high emotional intelligence. She doesn’t hurry you to get her job done or hurry to get people to get on with it. Victoria gave me ample time to answer my questions and get to the surgery table. Having said that Carie and Keiden have also been there with me through out. Carie and Keiden also helped me when I asked them. My optometrist was Emma, who checked my eyes many times. 
My surgery was a breeze. My vision was clear as soon as I got the surgery. I had no problems and complications. Victoria was right all along. My vision prior to surgery was extremely poor since childhood. I could not see 5 inches away from my eyes. After surgery my distance vision is 20/10, which are eagle eyes in humans. I can read fine print without spectacles as well. I use readers in certain lights, or very long readings. I am glasses free 95% of the time. My eye surgeon at optical express was brilliant. The lenses I was suggested and implanted in my eyes are enhanced mono-focal lenses with blended vision. I did have to get YAG, after a few month of my cataract surgery which was also very easy. YAG didn’t require lying down, numbing drops, or sedation . I was explained everything and shown my eye scans before I was discharged by Optical Express.
I am glad I chose Optical Express for my life changing journey. I thank Optical Express wonderful staff who was with me through out my journey. I will highly recommend optical express to everyone. They gave me the best option for me. I will advise everyone to trust the expert advise of Optical Express. Optical Express will give their patients best advise. I will choose Optical Express every time.

PS- my surgery was July last year. However, I was dealing with Optical Express regarding my cataract surgery prior to that.

We had a wonderful consultation today with Sue in Stevenage, she was so helpful and friendly.
