Whilst ok some of the time they often do not reward you once you have completed a survey. On completion after up to 25 minutes of your own time they say ' you are a better fit for another' If you raise a ticket they don't respond. Basically taking you time and data and giving you nothing back

Joined up today and did an initial survey more out of curiosity.I had a look around survey choices and suddenly amazing prizes and values offered on what I initially thought was a game playing site.It is obviously a sneaky way to get online casino players signed up and as far as I am concerned hooked! Nothing to do with surveys at all and perhaps a way to get around recent new gambling controls and licensing.I have closed my account

Used to be great site. When I went to redeem hard earned points was told I had 'broken their terms and conditions'. When I asked [several times] eventually they informed me I had to verify who I was- by sending photo of myself and of my drivers licence [sp?] to their "verified" third party. With so many 'storage locations' being hacked no way will I do that. There was no prior notice to this becoming mandatory. Why not do the same as many other companies and just send verification number to phone or registered email or similar-NOT happy

I spent a long time honestly answering surveys, went to redeem a reward and upon verification of my ID, it for some reason failed and they permanently closed my account. I did absolutely nothing Incorrectly. Im pissed off.
DO NOT use this site.

I can no longer access my account unless I submit my digital ID. (drivers license, passport etc). I looked into the terms and conditions and found the verification company comes from Brazil. I have been a faithful member of this platform for a while now. Never have I been asked for this. I refuse to give my personal information.

I have completed 4 surveys in the past week to the end and have been screened out and have not received the points. I have sent 10 emails in total saying what date end time the survey was completed and screen shots in the last couple of instances (As i don't trust the end of surveys now so I take a screenshot for proof). No answer to any of my emails, not one answer!!! Ripped off!!!

I cannot recommend this service, as my experience, similar to that of other users, involved an unexpected account suspension after years of participation, which prevented me from accessing my accumulated rewards.

It appears they have been kicking long term members out for no reason

Unlike other people I got plenty of surveys and managed to accumulate $50 in credits over a few days. Unfortunately when I went to redeem my reward I found they are using some shady "verification software" that asks for a copy of your governmental id. I don't believe this was mention it would be a requirement anywhere on sign up.

I'm not cool with giving out my official id information to some shady us based company with a history of data breeches so I guess I'm not gettinng my $50 voucher....

My account was suspended for so-called violations. I have done surveys with due consideration and in good faith with this company for several years, and have been a loyal user. I could not claim the voucher that is owed to me. Customer service would not tell me what the violation was. There are so many poorly-written surveys and dodgy screening questions out there, it could be a problem with any one of them. The error is not at my end.
Don’t use Opinion World unless you’re prepared to instantly lose any credits you may have. They have no sense of fairness or loyalty to their regular users.

Unable to get a reward today. Sent an email -AI response came back to send details - listed things like new mobile phone number which wasn't the issue. However after listing all the details it provided no address to send the details. And also suggested if my concerns were related to a different matter to provide details and a screenshot. Which I duly did - 13 times -with the same original AI response coming back - despite sending it to different topics.
You use to get a complaint number.
So it would seem I am unable to access the rewards and unable to access any appropriate response.

This used to be a pretty good site. However, over the last month or so, they changed the site appearance and also did some weird thing so that I simply cannot qualify for any surveys I attempt.
Every time I try to complete a survey, I get the following message: "You're a better fit elsewhere, try another survey".
So I do, but get the same message over and over.
I you're unhappy with me, suspend my account - an explanation why would be nice, but don't send me this crap everyday, along with the promotional emails.
It's like this company has changed management, or something.
Waste of time and effort.

this is the worst site ....do not register. I accumulated over 15,000 points and they suspended my account, so they don't have to honor it. I wrote to them over 15 times but only received automated message saying they are still investigating it. It's been over a month and still not resolved. it's just a waste of time to do the surveys but when time comes to honor them, they won't respond to your emails.

Terrible. Tried twice to do different survey, finish it and get 404 error and it logs me out. Either that or I’m kicked out of a survey. I don’t know how people are getting anywhere with this site.

Overall, I am pleased to say that my experience with Opinion World in NZ has been an great and excellent survey with promising rewards, however to keep in mind it does take patience and time along with making sure that honest opinions are always being given and overtime you will eventually get surveys and earn rewards, just keep on waiting!

I hope this clarifies the misunderstanding for some users!

I had been completing surveys for several months in good faith with this platform, until out of the blue, they suspended my account. I have no idea why, and they refused to tell me how or provide evidence that I've breached their terms. Frustratingly, I had $40 worth of unclaimed rewards when the account was closed.

There contact terms basically state they can cancel your account at any time, and you forfeit your right to any rewards. This is illegal under the NZ Fair Trading Act, specifically the section that prevents unfair contract conditions. I've written them a formal complaint detailing how and why they are on the wrong side of NZ law. I don't expect any success to be honest, given they are a US based company. I do intend to report them to the Commerce Commission, however, and I encourage anyone else who's had a negative experience with them to do so to, whilst they are US-based, they operate a .co.nz website and trade here, so they are bound by our laws if they wish to continue to do so.

Hardly meet any survey criteria, took months for account to be verified to be able to redeem a reward. Bad customer service. Absolutely not worth it...

I find opinion world is a great survey platform and the quick reply to a technical issue is fast and resolved easy.
