My partner and I have just returned from a month's holiday in Europe. Part of the trip included a 5 day "On the Go Tour", with AMR the guide residing in Cairo.
We cannot recommend him enough! His English was perfect, his kindness and courtesy outstanding, as was his punctuality and sense of humour. I do not have his surname but he advised he had been a guide in Cairo for many years.
Whilst we were with him my partner also had a birthday. Amr arranged at a luncheon a birthday cake, which came as a complete surprise. We also visited a Papyrus making venue on tour, and Amr bought my partner a piece of beautiful art, done on Papyrus with our names on, as a gift.
To add to this review, there was a stray cat outside our hotel room in Cairo. I asked Amr where we could buy catfood for the stray cat, another surprise he bought a bag of catfood for us.
All of this out of his own pocket!!
We could not thank him enough, nor his driver!

The company organized a tour in Morocco for us for two weeks, with accommodation and transportation. In all, we have visited 7 cities in this great country. The accommodations were diverse but modern and very good and the organization was excellent A large part in making this trip successful was played by our most pleasant, helpful and knowledgeable guide Aziz who was with us most of the time, was always on time, helped us out on many occasions, and answered all the questions we had. We recommend him most highly for guiding this long tour across Morocco. All other team members including the drivers were also excellent and ensured a very smooth transition from city to city and to and from the airport. We can highly recommend this company for your next visits to Morocco, especially when you want to travel to different places.

We just completed the 8 day Imperial Morocco and Blue City tour in a small group of 5.
It was a delight to have Aziz as our guide and Mustafa as our driver. Both were super friendly, and communicaton was a breeze. Aziz enhanced our trip greatly with his explanations of history, culture, and everyday living at the various locations we visited, whilst Mustafa was calm behind the wheel and expertly navigated the bustling city streets and mountain passes.
The mix of accommodations from traditional riads to hotels were excellent. We had ample rest stops on some of the longer travel days, and we were taken to restaurants that offered delicious traditional cuisine.
Our local guides at Casablanca, Fes, Volubilis and Marrakech were also very knowledgeable and friendly.
The tour crammed a lot in over a relatively short timeframe, which was awesome but left us with fairly limited free time to explore which wasn't entirely unexpected. In addition to the amazing experiences within the imperial cities, we loved the hiking activities to God's Bridge, the Cascades D Ouzoud and tour of the roman ruins at Volubilis etc. Casablanca was somewhat underwhelming, with the exception being the visit to the mosque of Hussain II. Overall, I think the tour would be enhanced with more time in Marrakech.
We enjoyed our experience and first visit to this magical country.

Communication is excellent, value for money. The tipping kitty took all our stress away. Great guide and driver Mustafa and Aziz who really looked after us and local guides in Casablanca, Volubilis and Fes were amazing. The Moroccan cuisine at lunch and dinners were full of flavour and lots of vegetatbles on offer.
Feel like I got a real taste of Moricv in one brief week.

Apart from Hassan 11 Mosque in Casablanca, it held little appeal.
Felt we spent so much time in the bus getting to places, there was little time to explore our destinations on arrival.
Please include Jardin Majorelle in Marrakesh day as it is stunning - need more time in Marrakesh for sure

Our group of four from Australia toured Morocco with guide Aziz and driver Mustafa. We had a fantastic time with on the go , Aziz was full of local knowledge, super friendly, had a calm presence and spoke great English, we would highly recommend him. Mustafa was a confident and calm driver, we felt safe and comfortable with him at the wheel, Aziz and Mustafa were patient and great fun, we were well looked after. Thankyou to them both who helped make this trip memorable for us.

Can I give this company zero stars???? I signed up for a five star accommodation and have landed in a dilapidated and awful hotel. If you know five star hotels, you know it is a property such as the Ritz, St. Regis, Fairmont, and Four seasons. You think clean and comfortable. You think exceptional amenities and fine service. You think clean and frankly spotless. On the Go has stuck us in a dirty, dated, disgusting hotel where all restaurants are closed until dinner except a snack bar. The “spa”, if you can call it that is in a dungeon and consists of a dirty hot tub, a thin and uncomfortable massage table covered in towels that have to be from 50 years ago. They are dirty, scratchy, and gross. The “masseuse” was nice but far from five star. There was nothing pampering about the experience. I might as well gone to an illegal spa that gives happy endings. That’s how shady it was. A five star spa experience is decadent and makes you leave feeling heavenly and refreshed. Makes you wish you could go back the next day. I couldn’t wait to get out of this spa. It was that gross. The hotel’s carpets and walls are stained, dirty, torn and smell musty and of smoke. I bet the hotel was once lovely, but that doesn’t mean it’s nice today. The pool has loud construction outside, the seats are dirty and old, and there’s no view to the Nile. Instead, you get a view of a dirty wall and and ground of ripped up old turf. I tried multiple times to find help to book a felucca. No one could be found to help me. There is no “concierge”. Just a bunch of dazed and confused employees who sit on their phones chatting with each other in their dirty outdated uniforms. Everything about this place screams Red Roof Inn. In fact, no offense to a 1 or 2 Star hotel because you know what you’re getting when you book with them. So imagine my surprise to see our five star experience looking like the hotel from Schitt’s Creek. On the Go ignored me and said talk to the local contact here. The local contact said talk to On the Go. Then they had the nerve to ask me to overpay for a new hotel that I could have gotten cheaper, once again, booking in my own. I picked a tour company because we are two women navigating Egypt alone and I felt it safest. Boy was I dumb. Everyone says Egyptians rip you off. Nope. On the Go are the biggest con artists here. Do yourself a favor, if you like to over pay, and your standards are that of an unlicensed youth hostel, choose On the Go. If you prefer to get the nice things you pay for and were promised, choose your own hotel and book through Viator each day!!!! Save your money!!!!

A wonderful trip, easily booked from New Zealand with great travel agent support and the Christchurch "On the Go Tours" Team. Our guide (Jamel) and driver (Zaid) were outstanding and we are so grateful for the time and interest they took in us, and their extensive knowledge and passion for the country and tour. Thanks to all - really appreciated.

I was part of an 8 person tour group in Morocco that was guided by Houcine, and driven around by Hassan. Houcine was knowledgeable and friendly. He always made sure everything was running smoothly. But what stood out is he seemed to take time to try and personally get to know everyone. Trying to learn a bit about where we're from.
The tour structure itself was great; there was a lot of driving, but it never felt long since there were lots of stops. The only thing is I would've preferred a bit more time in some of the locations. Like maybe some more time to shop around in the medinas, and also some help negotiating with some overly aggressive vendors. But all in all it was a great trip with a great guide and driver.

The experience travelling in Morroco was sensational! Our tour guide Jaouad was excellent! He was well organised and very knowledgeable about the people, the history and the culture of the places we visited. Accommodation was very good, some site specific guides also were included and there was plenty of time for us to enjoy the Moroccan food, the medinas and the souks. We had no issues with language thanks to Jaouad with many locals speaking some English as well! Our driver Salim also was amazing. The traffic in the towns is crazy, motorbikes everywhere, road rules appear to be suggestions and crossing roads by foot is risky. Salim managed all this with more calm than the passengers and delivered us to our tour sites without any issues. It was a brilliant tour and we will recommend it to friends!

We did the 15-day 'Yin and Yangtze' tour in China. It was excellent, hotels were better than we had expected, tour guides were good and made it very easy travelling in China. There was a minor unclarity at some point about which we sent an e-mail to OntheGo, and it was dealt with immediately. So kudos for that too!
If there is one thing that could be improved: the tour guide charged his tips at the welcome meeting (I'm not talking about the tip kitty but really the suggested amount in the trip notes). We probably would have tipped him anyway but charging tips at a welcome meeting is just not right. But for the rest: great tour, good pace, this was our first experience with OntheGo but I am sure we'll book with them again.

I booked this South America trip because I specifically wanted a group travel experience. Two of the group tour components were cancelled at the last minute as I was leaving for my holiday.

The replacement arrangements resulted in me spending much of the trip travelling alone. While accommodation and transfers were provided, many sightseeing activities were at additional cost and far more expensive than I expected, leaving me to spend significantly more money just to fill my days.

I repeatedly raised my concerns during the trip but felt that responsibility was being passed between different parties rather than my concerns being properly addressed.

This has been the most disappointing holiday I have taken and I would strongly recommend future travellers obtain written confirmation of exactly what type of tour experience they are purchasing before booking.

I recently enjoyed the 13 day Magical Morocco tour with On The Go Tours. It was wonderful! The itinerary, the pace, the transport, the accomodations and the meals were great. I especially loved staying in riads and eating local foods. The places we visited were amazing from staying in a cherry orchard, riding a camel into the Sahara, seeing carpet weavers at work and visiting the arena from the film ‘Gladiator’. Aziz was the most informative and helpful guide, sharing his passion for his homeland with us and answering my endless questions. Hassan was the loveliest driver, helpful and courteous and driving us safely to the Sahara and over the twisty roads of the High Atlas Mountains. Thank you both for amazing memories!

I’ve recently completed a 13day Magical Morocco tour with On the Go Tours. It was magical and majestic and more! Everything the tour suggested worked out well and although we had some long days, the tour was well paced for the places we visited. We started as a group of 6, then it became only three of us with an expert Guide Aziz, who welcomed us and answered any questions we had along the way. He was great at anticipating anything we needed and directing us to where we could go for meals, coffee etc. He was terrific helping us understand the culture and was always there with a smile and heaps of patience and knowledge. Hassan our driver was also great. Our accommodation was varied to reflect the diverse culture we were visiting, from comfy hotels with pools, family run riads, to the Berber camp in the Sahara Desert, being entertained by young camel drivers singing and playing drums after our camel trekking. A wonderful experience showcasing the beauty and landscapes of Morocco. Thank you Aziz and On the Go Tours.

I went on the Magical Morocco tour. Morocco was indeed magical. Not at all what I expected. Our guide, Aziz, was extremely knowledgeable and this, combined with his friendly demeanour, helped the whole tour flow smoothly and without stress. Our driver, Hassan, was very competent and professional. We stayed in a variety of accommodation venues which further enhanced the experience l. It was a great trip and I thoroughly recommend it.

We had the most amazing holiday experience in Morocco. Our guide Jamal looked after us so well. He was professional, friendly, knowledgeable, sensitive to the needs of everyone in the group and possessed a cheeky sense of humour. We are so glad that we were part of the “Magical Morocco” tour group. We would highly recommend.

Im on the north America 13 day tour. Ive been the only English speaking passenger. The co is based in Spain so passengers have been Spanish speaking so I have felt isolated. Hotels far below average. Our New York 'extensive city tour' started 8am, the tour guide informed us st 11.45 the your was finishing. We saw only Wall st, the oldest church, the Toro bull & ground zero. Oh and 5 whole minutes at Central Park. Not half of the advertised attractions, not even the park to see the statue of liberty as featured.
Worst of all, I was their only booking for Boston to Montreal & the co just booked me on a flight!! A whole day ive paid for a tour just to be shoved on a flight! And if I didnt accept they'd forfeit my holiday! Nice!

Fantastic tour of Morroco. My husband and I was part of a 13 day tour group and by the end of it we really felt like we covered a lot of this magnificent country. Our tour guide Jaouad was lovely, helpful and very informative- nothing was too much too ask and we felt very comfortable asking him anything. The accomodation provided in every city/town was comfortable, clean and some of them were above our expectations. The restaurants we stopped at for lunch each day were not all great however my husband and I are fussy eaters and we check the Google reviews first which a lot of them were rated in the 3 out of 5 range. I am sure that most people found the food to be ok but we chose not to eat at a couple of them as we weren't satisfied with the quality of the food we saw for the prices charged by the restaurants. One other thing to mention is that a lot of the shops where you stop along the way again are specific for tourists as lots of buses get dropped to these and you pay higher prices for the products. I would recommend doing some research online before purchasing from these shops as we found much better options that sold the authentic products with certificates and all at much more reasonable prices. You are never forced to buy from these which is important to mention and most tour agencies stop at these so it is not just specific to On the Go Tours. We have found this to be practice in lots of countries but just something to think about. Overall the tour is great and you really get to experience a lot of the culture and see heaps of beautiful scenery along the way. Thank you Jaouad and Mustapha (driver)! You guys were fantastic!

“Magical Morocco” is a very well thought out and extremely well organized tour of Morocco. We were able to visit all the places of interest to us. The tour was not too hectic and the pace allowed us to enjoy the places we visited. We found Jaouad, our tour guide, to be an outstanding and an extremely knowledgeable and helpful guide. He is very played a significant role in making our tour very enjoyable. Mustafa, our driver, was a very careful and safe driver. We highly recommend the tour.
