From point of ordering to receipt of my lease vehicle I have had all my questions answered, relevant departments involved at the right times to progress each section (car/charger/ordering/delivery) with asking and answering the right questions. I’ve had direct responses answered and everyone trying to be helpful.

Not Happy! Super stressful! Disapointing experience!
I chose Octopus for my EV charge point as I had had such great customer service from the energy team. Unfortunately this is nothing like it! The service is slow, laboured, no proper answers and just downright stressful! I have been enquiring about my EV charger for a month now (and I have paid for it!) and I am still no closer to getting a date for the install. The answers to emails are evasive eg; do you agree to do groundworks? without actually telling me what groundworks? where? why it is needed? I asked them to telephone me with questions as it was taking so long for them to ask me one question at a time via email and then wait at least 24 hours before asking the next question! They proceeded to email! me to say yes they would and then asked another vague question. If I wasn't already a month in I would definitely be taking my business elsewhere, in fact I may still do if nothing happens soon.

Due to my property I was not able to take the free charger option being on a looped supply and no driveway. But I got £800 credit straight to my public charging account . Brilliant wouldn’t expect anything less from Octopus.

Credit where credit is due. As a slow adopter to new tech and a leasing vehicles, I was very impressed with the Octopus process. Robyn Martin resolved all my queries quickly and efficiently which gave me the confidence to proceed with ordering a new vehicle. The whole process was very swift and efficient, and selecting a pre-ordered vehicle meant I had the car here in 3 weeks which is ideal given the current cost of Diesel.
Only note of caution for any salary sacrifice is to do your own homework on the BIK and gross costs to check you are happy to avoid surprises. Octopus do advise this and its sound advice.
Overall, really happy so far.

I had a fantastic experience with Octopus Electric Vehicles from start to finish. The whole process was smooth and well organised, with excellent communication throughout. Any questions I had were answered promptly, which made everything feel straightforward and stress-free.
The drop-off service in particular stood out. The driver kept us informed along the way, so we always knew what to expect, and was friendly and professional on arrival. They also took the time to give us a thorough run-through of the car, which was really helpful and appreciated.
Overall, a brilliant service! Efficient, clear, and genuinely customer focused. I’d happily recommend them to anyone considering an electric vehicle.

Excellent Customer Service
I have been through a very long journey ( not yet complete) of getting desired EV on salary sacrifice with Octopus EV . Having booked a car and to be told it will be delivered after 4 or more months, I was frustrated. So I just dropped a note to the team and in spite of the case being handed over to operational team, Bryony stepped in with a prompt response and provide potential options to overcome the issue. Her pragmatic and transparent approach and strive for customer satisfaction helps resolve any issues. Thanks a lot for your efforts and dedication.

Right from the start she has been incredibly responsive, friendly and helpful.
Had a slight issue with the online tracker changing dates several times but Rocky jumped straight on it when I brought this up and managed to secure me my vehicle before the scheduled delivery date, on the same day I raised my concerns! You can’t ask for better service than that!

I am very happy with my new EV. Octopus made the process from start to finish really easy. I opted for an approved used car through the salary sacrifice scheme. Octopus (especially Charlie!) kept me informed throughout the process and then followed up a week later to make sure I had everything that I needed.

Our first EV
We were first tempted to a ev from a link in their app and spent a fair time perusing the choices. When we finally decided to order we were contacted by Yosola from Octopus EV who took us through the process, gave us time to digest all the information and was there to answer any and all questions we had. We were kept in the loop at all times and when we did have a question she came back to us immediately. We spoke to her last on the day of delivery and its comforting to know that if needed she is still there. Thank you Yosola for making our first EV a good experience.
