Worst online experience ever

Worst online experience ever! If shipping is not available and no store nearby is available for pickup, REMOVE the product off the site. What a waste of effort and time to shop online realizing the items you selected is not avail to be shipped.

Damaged Jacket - Bad Experience

Seriously, DO NOT IGNORE THIS REVIEW. AVOID OAK + FORT ONLINE. I received a jacket in the mail with damage (ink stains or mold on the white leather parts of the jacket). There is no customer service number, so I contacted them via e-mail for an exchange. They don't do exchanges apparently. They asked for photos and instead offered a 10% rebate. So....they offered me a 15 dollar discount for a 151 dollar jacket. I just opted to return it because that is not worth it in the slightest. The ink stains or mold is PERMANENT AND ON THE WHITE LEATHER PART OF THE JACKET - how will I make that work? They give you a return authorization, but good luck - THEY MAKE YOU PAY FOR SHIPPING. The shipping from where I am is $55-$150 to their warehouse, and the closest store 3 hours away. I wish I had reviewed their return policy better. They need better QA on their products and if they are going to make someone pay for shipping, make sure the items sent are in PRISTINE condition. There are so many other brands with better customer service, do not shop here, you are taking a gamble with your money.

BUYER BEWARE: Horrible customer service and cheap products!!

I placed an order on the OAK + FORT website for a total of over 100 USD (not a small amount for me), including a snake chain necklace advertised to be made of 14k gold.

I was very gentle with the product as it was gold, but the necklace clasp broke after just two wears. I contacted Oak + Fort via email and asked them for help resolving the issue. The customer care team said the highest they could offer me was a 10% rebate, which would require me to purchase more items from their website to redeem. Unsatisfied with the cheap quality of the necklace I received, I pushed for a full refund.

At their refusal, I became frustrated with the lack of care in customer service and decided to give up on the refund as it was clearly going nowhere. Instead, I requested via email to close my account. The customer service representative told me they were not able to close my account, but that I was “welcome to unsubscribe from marketing emails” (which I had already done.)

This is despite the fact that in the website’s FAQ, it reads “Please [contact customer service email] to delete your OAK + FORT account.” (Can’t insert link here but check oak and fort slash pages slash accounts dash orders.)

I relayed this via email to the customer care team, and they basically said they could not help me, even though the website had completely misled me into believing they could delete my account.

I am very upset with both the lack of understanding in providing customer service, and the false advertising of their website. I am uncomfortable keeping my account and personal information stored at OAK + FORT, and strongly advise anyone considering purchasing from them to avoid doing so.

Don’t be fooled by their marketing and high prices! They make cheap products and refuse to help customers in a meaningful way.

Will not honour damaged shipped…

Will not honour damaged shipped item..... Received a broken necklace and they claimed because it was out of the package (with tags on), that it is now considered 'wear and tear' and they would not honor an exchange or refund..... DO NOT BUY from them .

Will not honour damaged item

I purchased a sweater. Came home took the tags off because I loved the sweaters and had no intention of returning it . I noticed a hole in the sweater and then a few more when I examined it further . I went to the store to show them and they would not exchange it for another one because the tags were off. It was only a few days after buying the sweater and they accused me of making them! Then told me to go on line to customer service to complain which I did and they basically said there is nothing they can do and even when i escalated the issue. Same

Do NOT purchase anything from these…

Do NOT purchase anything from these scammers. I bought 3 pieces. 2 of them eventually shipped out to me separately. The third they gave a tracking number to but it never shipped out. When you put the tracking number in it literally says there is a delay and it hasn’t even been picked up. When I asked for a refund (this is 4+months after I bought it) they said they can’t give refunds on orders that have been shipped - even though it has NEVER been shipped. I bought the insurance protection so now they are saying I have to go through that to get my money back. This is a total scam. Absolutely horrible customer service and literally stealing money and committing insurance fraud.

Most despicable experience shopping…

Most despicable experience shopping online ever. I swear shopping from Temu or receiving fake crap from Amazon is somehow better because at least you get the item no matter what it is in a timely manner. At least the item exists! Oak and Fort online shopping experience is so bizarre. Hello its the year 2024! How can you not add an item into the cart! I searched up 7 items of which none could be added and only available for pickup. Wthef does that mean?!? Then it said if you know the item number to text it to a chat representative and if they have it they'll sent it and ship it. Wthef!??! Thats not all, they don't even have sizes, usually all sold out. I also tried to use afterpay and I guess even afterpay doesn't trust them because afterpay always declines the order and I have no issue with afterpay, its just always for this store somehow. Oak and Fort seems like a sham and a scam. The store does have some lovely luxurious pieces but I must admit its such a headache finding your size even in the store. This store operates in a very cheap way. On the outside it glitters but on the inside its pure crap. Mind you this review is written from one single experience. First time I went to the store and same day went online to find the non existent sizes. Fitting rooms are the tacky ones where you all have to come out and just take turns looking on the mirror! Puhlease, even H & M and Forever 21 have complete fitting rooms that look even better than CROAK & FART. Neva again!

This is the first time I've reviewed a company I haven't purchased from, because every step of the buying process was so annoying that I gave up. I spent almost 2 hours trying to order a shirt online. As others have said, customer service is only available online and they have very little info about the clothes or sizing ("when in doubt, size up!). I called a store which gave me sizing info and confirmed that they couldn't sell or take payment for purchases outside of their own store. The website is glitchy and has very few product photos and reviews. I finally searched online for buyer experiences before trying to check out through PayPal and am glad I did.

Worst experience



"Dear Oak and Ford Company,

I am writing to express my disappointment and frustration with my recent experience at the Park Royale store. As a long-time loyal customer, I purchased two pairs of ear cuffs 3 days ago, which unfortunately, did not meet my expectations. Despite initial enthusiasm, the earbuds failed to stay in place, and when I attempted to adjust them, they caused discomfort and damage to my ears.

Upon returning the product for a refund, I was informed that the return policy did not cover this issue. I explained the situation to the staff, emphasizing the responsibility of the store to acknowledge the harm caused by their sold product. However, my claim was not accepted, and I was met with a lack of empathy and understanding from the staff, including the manager. Their body language and tone came across as dismissive and unapologetic.

As a result, I intend to share my negative experience with others through a review. I hope that you will take my feedback seriously and take necessary steps to address the issues I've raised.

I would give this brand 0 stars if I could. Rude employees, zero customer service, and I have been scammed multiple times by them now. They also have absolutely no good clothing. I managed to find one piece i liked out of their entire store. Garbage. save your money for better stores!

Buyer beware

Buyer beware. I returned a coat because it was too large. The company doesn't allow exchanges. I had to pay the shipping costs to return. I never received a credit for the return. I know they got it, because sent it UPS, and delivery was confirmed. They never issued a refund after I tried communicating with them for over a month. I just got automated responses. There are no phone numbers listed that you can call on their website. I ended up having to file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau

Very bad customer service

Very bad customer service
Shipment send out wrong items and when I ask for the right item it was out of stock already.
Misleading online purchase information and very frustrating navigation through items online on items showing “instock” but actually might only be available for pick up in store (turns out out of stock in store as well)
Bad attitude when asked for a return during online chat.

First and last time I buy on that site

I bought a coat and what I got was completely different from what the website showed. I reached out to them to return it and they made up a whole story about me not being able to return it. It’s not even of good quality. Do not buy anything from oak & fort

They made a mistake and the wrong item…

They made a mistake and the wrong item was sent to me. That is not my fault but Customer Service didn't respond for a few days and in and ask me to send the wrong item to them to be able to receive a refund. Had to go to the post office and waste the time I don't have with a newborn baby, because of their mistake.
don't trust and buy from the store anymore. VERY DISAPPOINTED

Customer Service

I love the design of their clothes. The fabrics and quality are decent. Nice store atmosphere physically. Prices are relatively reasonable. However, maybe it is a fluke the customer service is horrible. The chat line is a horrific wait - do they only have one person answer calls? The phone number for customer support was just as bad and I kept on disconnecting The webpage had issues and wouldn't let me purchase something that was in stock (I also saw several in the store that day). If it weren't for the exteme sale - the things I wanted were more than 60 percent off I would not be so patient. And the sales clerk I noted knew little about their product ie who inspired the designs, fabric, cut, sewing etc. I can now add that eventually I got through and there was nothing but issues with the website and placing the order but the chat line did finally get the order placed. It only took 3.5 hours with all the issues.

Oak and Fort at Fairview Mall

Today's shopping trip to Oak and Fort left much to be desired. Despite being surrounded by three sales assistants, the experience was marred by their apparent disinterest. Not a single greeting or glance my way – their attention seemed solely devoted to their phones. It's disheartening when basic courtesy and customer care take a backseat. Such lapses in service can significantly impact the overall shopping experience.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE

Reaching Customer Service is IMPOSSIBLE! i purchased some things through the website that were shipped from the store in Bellevue, WA due to low inventory online. I am now told that I need to drive over 10 hours to return the items to the store. The store states that they cannot accept shipped items, that the website has to handle returns. I was told, at the time of sale, that returns could be made, but customer would be responsible for return postage. Very deceptive business practices. One simply CANNOT speak to a representative. I've waited over 37 minutes for an agent in chat, being #1 in the queue for 25 of those minutes.
