Wouldn’t replace item delivered to wrong address
The courier delivered my package to the wrong address, which I was able to see based on the delivery photo provided. I reached out to them and they redirected me to Oak + Fort. The customer service at Oak + Fort opened a multi week “investigation” and concluded they weren’t liable for refunding or replacing the item because the courier service claimed it was delivered, even after I provided photos to show it went to the wrong address. I’ve never had such horrible customer service and considered reporting them to the BBB.

Terrible customer service. their products are not bad but they sent me an item with a hole. They refused to send me a new item and said it was an imperfection that doesn't meet the guideline for a refund. I just wanted a new item and was even willing to pay for return shipping. nope. I would recommend buying in person only.

Missing items from online order and failed resolution
I was so excited to receive my order as I wanted to purchase some new clothes before my birthday and before I moved to another state.
Unfortunately it seems that after looking at reviews here, my experience is commonplace. My package arrived without all the items I ordered. I purchased two sets and both of them came with the tops only. No bottoms. I reached out to customer service and they took nearly three weeks to get back to me based on their investigation. They told me that all items were packed based on CCTV footage and weight of the parcel so there was nothing they could do.
What a terrible experience with their team. It seems like I’m not the only one either. They said they would cooperate if I made a claim to my credit company or the BBB but I am extremely upset. I’m never purchasing online with them again. I bought items in-store so I thought they were a legit business but I wish I had known before I bought anything. Even when buying from YesStyle, my items have *always* arrived perfectly fine. I thought I could trust Oak + Fort but clearly I was wrong. I don’t want to support their business anymore. My friends were about to purchase stuff from their liquidation sale but I told them my experience and they no longer wanted to buy either in case the same should happen to them.

TL;DR Missing ring from my order and they refused to refund me the $8 for it after making me wait more than 2 weeks for a response.
Bought a ring from them and upon receiving my package it was nowhere to be found so I reached out to customer service. They gave me a case number and came back to me with this response "We’re sorry to hear that you are missing the item: RN-13213-W-Gold-6 from your recent order, although they were all confirmed to be delivered. At this time, we kindly ask you provide pictures of the packaging, the items you received and the packing slip.
Along with the pictures, our loss prevention team would like to request for some additional information as well:
* Did the package arrive tampered or opened?
* Did you receive a packing list with your package?
* Did you receive a box or a bag with your order?
* Is this the first O+F order for you or anyone in your household?
* Do you reside at a different address as your billing address?
* Have your or anyone in your household claimed a lost order or missing item before with O+F?
* How long have you been living at this address?
Please note, our Loss Prevention team requires this information before proceeding and kindly ask you respond as soon as possible. Thank you for your understanding and we look forward to hearing from you!"
I responded promptly and provided the pictures they asked for but it took them 18 days to get back to me. Only to be told that "After a thorough investigation, our team was able to confirm that RN-13213-W-Gold-6 was included in your package as the item was successfully scanned through our system and accurately matches the weight of the parcel when collected by the shipping courier. Based the information provided by you and the evidence gathered during our investigation, we regret to inform you that we will not accept your claim for missing items and will be unable to assist you further on this matter. Please understand that our decision follows our internal loss prevention policies, and as such is final."
I was a loyal Oak + Fort customer but this experience all for a measly $8 ring has left a negative impression on me.
What a horrible company and terrible…
What a horrible company and terrible customer service! I purchased a shirt online and when it arrived it had makeup stains smeared all over the collars and front of shirt. The shirt is white/gray and the makeup is like a dark foundation and pink blush so large, noticeable and totally stained into the fabric. It was on sale so I didnt expect a refund but an exchange to get a shirt I could actually wear. Ive been told I can have a 25% refund. Im still confused why I only get 25% of my money back when they sent me an item that is not wearable. I just find this really crappy customer service and I would never shop with them again.

Deceptive return policy, bad quality, poorly run company
Where to start with this company. Their quality is next to SHEIN. Their sizing inconsistent. Most employees at their store are entirely checked out and generally lack customer service skills or professionalism.
They recently posted they have “updated their return policy” online but all they have done is update it to use purposefully misleading language.
“Items purchased at regular price or have a discount of less than 20% off are eligible for a full refund onto the original method of payment within 21 days of online order arrival. After this period, we will no longer accept return requests.
Which could be simply stated as anything 20% off or more is final sale. I believe the common person reading this might think something with a discount of 20% is returnable (a theory backed up by numerous other reviews here). This feels similar to Aritzia’s $5 dollar off finale sale mentality. Generally, I believe anything bought online should at least be exchangeable, but that’s personal logic.
Today I got an email promoting access to their warehouse sale (which I assume is more of the same lacklustre discounts) and when I clicked on it I was taken to an “Early Access Ticket” for $18.00. I felt weirdly offended they thought I would be interested in an $5 deal enough I’d pay $18 for access. More so I thought it comical that even luxury brands would not use this tactic. It’s cheap and desperate and its screams “financial distress”.
If they would stop being so blatantly stingy and insulated with their approach, and shifted focus to a customer-centric experience, they’d find the fate of their company would naturally shift to the positive. In this way they are pounds foolish, penny wise.

WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! Deceitful business tactics regarding online returns!!!! They literally robbed me blind!!!! I bought two trench coats, NOT ON SALE AND LISTED AT FULL PRICE, but used a 20% off promo code. Upon delivery, I tried them on and was disappointed that the coats were sized too large and immediately, contacted customer service requesting to initiate my order return, as I knew I only had a 21-day window for returns. Several email attempts later I was notified that because my items were purchased “on sale with 20% discount”, my trench coats are considered “final sale” and not eligible for return. WHAT BS BUSINESS POLICY IS THAT!!!!!!! UNHEARD OF!!!!! NOWHERE ON MY ORDER RECEIPT DOES IT SAY “FINAL SALE”!!!!!! I am out $300!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Lack of flexibility for customers
Customer service wasn't great. The people working there were not familiar with their own products. The return policies are stricter than many other companies which is disappointing. Their shipping is also more expensive than other stores. They also do not ship sizes between local stores: for example other stores will ship a size to ur local store if they don't have it so you can pick it up.

I’ve shopped with many online clothing retailers, and Oak and Fort was by far the worst experience. They delivered a defective item that was literally falling apart and of the worst quality I’ve seen in awhile, and they refused to offer a refund. They stated that it could not be returned because it was in a 20% off weekend sale, even though it was defective. What a joke. Do not waste your money on their garbage.

"I'm extremely disappointed with my recent experience at oak And fort chinook mall. Unfortunately, the store manager's behaviour was completely unacceptable. Not only was she rude, but her actions and tone also came across as racist.
When attempting to return an item within the return window (just two days after purchase), the manager made an unjustified comment about the clothing smelling. This was not only untrue but also insulting.
The lack of respect and professionalism displayed by the manager was shocking. As a customer, I expect to be treated with dignity and respect, regardless of my background or reason for return.
I hope the company takes my feedback seriously and takes necessary actions to address this issue. Until then, I would caution others about shopping at this location."

This is the worst experience I have ever had ordering anything online. Firstly I ordered 4 items on January 13th 2025 and waited the 20 business days I was told for my shipment. after the 20 days it has been hell trying to get anyone to respond with any information let alone any information regarding my order. Finally I received 1 item after approximately a month. I received an email stating that the last 3 items of my order has shipped. It is March 17th, 2025 and I received 2 of my last 3 items. the clothing sizing is wrong and very cheap material. I am curious as to what type of customer service I will receive now that not all of my items have shipped. I will never buy from this company again and I would definitely not recommend. Worst experience ever.
Ridiculous Issue Resolution
I had ordered many items from them before and did not have any significant problems and enjoyed their clothing very much. However, on my most recent purchase I ordered two items during their Black Friday sale, and when I received my order, it contained three completely different items than what I ordered.
I contacted them immediately after receiving the wrong items, and they opened an investigation that took over a month. I complied with them completely, including pictures of the wrong items, the packing slip that listed the items I ordered but did not receive, and the packaging the wrong items came in. When I finally received their response on the result of their investigation, they concluded that my order was packed correctly and would not do anything further to help me.
Fortunately, I was able to open a case through PayPal, who eventually ruled in my favor and gave me a refund. As a result of this experience, I will not buy anything more from this company. It's a shame because I do like their clothing, but the way they "resolved" my issue was ridiculous and unacceptable.

I have previously purchased items in-store that I really liked. Decent quality and good fits. December 1, 2024 I placed a very large order for myself and Christmas gifts for others. The items arrived nine days later and unfortunately two of the pants were sent in the wrong length size. I doubled checked that I did order the correct sizes which I did and reached out to customer service.
They replied two days later with a long series of questions and requested photos of the items, the packing receipt, and packaging. The photos clearly showed their shipping mistake. Five days later I received a reply that they were going to open an investigation that would take 10 days to complete (December 26th). At this point its obvious that these Christmas gifts would not arrive in time.
I did not receive any updates on the "investigation" in 2024. I reached out again on Jan 7, 2025 to express my dissatisfaction and requested a refund as well as a shipping label if they wanted the items I didn't order back. Finally on Jan 13th they replied with a shipping label and confirmed their error. I immediately shipped the items back. By February 3rd it had been more than two months since my original order and I still hadn't received a refund. I filed a claim with my credit card which finally resulted in a refund a few days later.
I understand that company's need to be vigilant of customers that do try to take advantage, but when there is clear proof of their mistake there should be a speedier remedy and one that doesn't make a good customer feel like a scammer. I think it is in poor taste to hold on to a customers money, cause them to waste time shipping items back and repeatedly emailing customer service for updates only to finally have to file a credit card dispute. After months dealing with their mistake they don't even offer the slightest compensation on a future purchase or a thoughtful apology.
This experience has been an eye opener to the type of company they are and will be the last time I ever shop with them. I would also like to point out that any less than stellar reviews that I have left have never been posted. My suggestion is if you are thinking of purchasing an item only do it in-store, if you have thoroughly examined the items for defects, and are comfortable knowing you won't get a refund.

Absolute worst store that I’ve ever worked for in all my years of working retail. Management was unorganized, there was terrible communication, no structure whatsoever. The hire ups expect you to hit these unattainable sales goals when only 2 customers come into the store a day.

I agree with other review before me. Never ever seen customer service like this online shopping. I ordered same sweater for quantity of 2 they only shipped one. I called them right away and they said they need 10 days to investigate. Seriously? I clearly provided you the proof you only sent 1 to me. They said all items marked shipped. Whoever in charge of the online shopping is stealer trying to damage the company reputation or this company is simply a scam when you order online.
Update: I reported the missing item on 1/20/25 and been told to wait for 10 days for investigation. I followed up by chat (only way to communicate their customer services) and been told be patient on 2/4/25 and no manager available. As of today 2/10, still no response. Anyone has similar experience please report to your credit card company about this company scam.
