I really want to give no stars. I know I live in a foreign country but those I interact with at MSH international do not seem to understand English. They overlook pretty much all questions and queries sent to them. Their responses are slow. Incoherent. It’s very frustrating. Then in terms of simple requests regarding prescriptions and such things they never seem to be able to resolve or offer a reasonable service. I recently wanted some basic prescriptions and the only pharmacy I can attend is on the other side of the city; despite there being approximately 100 pharmacies between here and there. Whenever I question why I should pay £40 round trip in a taxi as I have no car just now, I’m met with incoherent incomprehensible babbling! I’ve tried to remain calm with their support team but please believe me when I say avoid MSH International medical insurance at all costs. They have no interest in customer service at all. The irony is that this company worsens a person’s state of health on account of their incoherent inexplicable responses. Avoid!

C'est une mutuelle bas de gamme à n'en pas douter. Après 15 ans d'expatriation en famille sur 3 continents, MSH m'est imposée par mon employeur mais c'est sans conteste la pire.
.Le taux de remboursement est faible.
.Les tests et sérologie Covid ne sont pas remboursés (les autres mutuelle le font).
.Les dossiers sont perdus (ou prétendu perdu). Scannez et armez vous de courage pour reprendre plusieurs fois vos dossier.
.Assistance téléphonique expéditive ou bien très désagréable
.Choisissez en une autre... ou bien ne soyez pas malade !
C'est du cheap & dirty, ce qui ne correspond pas à mon besoin.

I had a drill fragment stuck and burnt in my cornea. I thought it was an eyelash or something so I waited a couple of days to see if it was going out by itself but it started itching all the time and couldn't get it out. So I go to the hospital and they send me to an eye doctor which gets it out shortly after. Until here everything normal, the hospital sends me the bills home, I call MSH to see what should I do and someone on the phone tells me to pay and to ask for a refund. So I do and send the claim but this company refuses to reimburse me because the drill fragment in the eye was not an emergency since I went to the hospital 3 days after the accident. I tried many times to contact them by email but they stopped replying and I asked multiple times for a phone number because the Calgary one on the website never works but never sent me any. Still waiting for 1000$ from them from 8 months ago, I think I will contact a lawyer not to get the money but just to get back at this horrible company, if you are reading this never never get involved with them it's the worst company you can ever choose read also the other reviews, I'm not an exception, this is one of the typical behavior they have with their customers.
Edit: I wrote to the email they told me below and still they do not reply. Never trust this company. I lost only time in contacting them. I think I will contact a local tv channel so as many people can see how bad is this company, I hope their policies will lead to its failure. Also, I believe the positive reviews you see are 100% made from employees, positive reviews are never supported and are very basic, while all the negative ones are all well argumented and supported by stories of people, don't let them fool you.
Edit: After the bad review someone (after 3 months of not replying to any communication) contacted me. Heads up, this doesn't mean they refunded me, I'll keep you updated. If you have problems with them apparently you have to review and tell your story, only after they realize that the damage to their image may lead to some profit loss then maybe they will reconsider stuff.
Update: finally after 10 months of stress and being told that a drill fragment in the eye was not an emergency apparently they are going to reimburse me. The situation was unlocked by this review, otherwise, they would have never escalated it to a "senior specialist". I'll leave this nice quote from the company from one of their few emails after I was insisting that a drill fragment burnt and stuck in the cornea required immediate assistance:
"A true emergency would mean you would go when the incident occurred. (...) seeking medical attention (...) at a hospital would not be deemed appropriate" -msh international

Il est facile de se communiquer avec des représentants de MSH par téléphone / mail ou via mon compte web.

I've contacted MSH International 416-730-8488 3 times to get my policy cancellation refund with no sucess. First time i was told the lady who handled the refund is on maternity leave, 2nd time I was told they will expedite the refund. Today I was told they couldn't reach anyone in the refund department.

Ma pire experience mutuelle : nul en informatique, nul en suivi client, des erreurs de calculs, des erreurs de compta, des mails envoyés à 450 adhérents en copie (tous visibles !), des mises en demeures alors qu'on paye tous les mois ....
Ils savent meme pas faire un prélèvement SEPA au sein de l'EU. Pour une entreprise internationale c'est très mal parti.
La seule personne compétente est le community manager facebook qui sait remonter les soucis internes.

Terrible service, customer support is responding very slowly or not at all, and once the delays have pushed you over the time limit, reimbursement is denied. Claims are randomly getting denied because they require paper prescriptions, which we don't even have here any more. I repeatedly indicated that the prescribing doctor is listed on the provided document but I keep getting the same standard reply.

Our family has an extremely comprehensive and extremely expensive health-care policy with Previnter Paris which works through MSH International for US permanent residents which we are. We had no issues with MSH and its Calgary office till a year and a half ago. Now they are not reimbursing physicians to whom we have been going for years. When my husband had to have a minor surgical intervention at a surgery center in our city, they called the Calgary office which informed them we only had 'traveller's insurance' which is absolutely false. Calgary informed us that they work through the network of a company called Global Excel in the US. Previnter in Paris informed us we should also be in network with United Healthcare in the US. MSH in Calgary denies this. We asked them for a list of hospitals we are in network with in our home city (pop. 2.5 million). They informed us that Global Excel has no hospitals they are in network with in our city. However, if you look on the portal for Global Excel providers, multiple hospitals are listed for our city. We do not know what is going on or if we should seek legal advice. As it currently stands we are paying for extremely expensive health insurance (which should cover 95% of all medical bills and hospitalization including and for over $100,000) and getting no coverage.

MSH International is perhaps the worst company I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. I held a health insurance policy with them based out of Dubai.
I could write a novel detailing how bad they are, but to summarize:
1) They will do whatever they can to not pay out claims-regardless of what the policy wording says. Every single time I had a claim denied, I got it eventually overturned, but it took months and tons of hassle and even contacting senior executives that I happened to know personally. At times, they had to be "reminded" of their legal obligations as per local insurance regulations.
2) The customer service is abysmal. If you happen to be in the UAE, try calling them at night when the Dubai office is closed so you can speak with someone in Europe as they are usually more helpful.
3) I tried to add my newborn baby to my policy-customer service is so bad that they never even came back with a quotation.
4) When you try to escalate, customer service refuses to provide you with an escalation policy, or contact to file a complaint. (Most reputable insurance companies will publish a complaint policy).
This company caused huge amounts of stress for me, and I recommended purchasing your insurance elsewhere.

Procédures lourdes. Temps de traitements interminables. Plateforme web incomprehensible. Aucun sens du client. Entreprise en silos. Les agents qui répondent au téléphone ne sont pas ceux qui traitent les dossiers. Ceux qui traitent les dossiers ne veulent pas parler aux clients.
Bref, une bonne boite façon année 90, bien segmentée, bien egocentrée et dépourvue de tous sens de service efficace. Une plaie d'être client de cette assureur. J'ai pas le choix, c'est imposé par mon entreprise ... qui elle est persuadée m'offrir un avantage !!

Pour avoir eu plusieurs complémentaire santé, je déclare qu'MSH est la plus mauvaise complémentaire santé que j'ai eu.
Pour les remboursements de frais de santé ils sont 1 fois sur 3 mal calculés et bien sur en la faveur de MSH, Vous faites des réclamations mais cela est encore mal calculé il Vous faut donc plusieurs mois pour avoir vos remboursement et cela nécessite un contrôle systématique sinon c'est perdu pour l'adhèrent, MSH ne respect pas c'est engagement contractuel.
Même pour les hospitalisations j'ai eu systématiquement des problème des impayés de MSH même dans des hôpitaux publics.
Sincèrement MSH c'est un service des plus mauvais que je n'ai jamais connu.

Mon enterprise a souscrit a une couverture internationale lors de notre depart en Angleterre.
Il ne savent pas lire anglais apparemement. Je suis toujours dans l'attente d'un paiement de 1200 Livres car ils ne savent pas pourquoi c'est pas rembourse a l'hopital qui a fait les examens. c'est le comble pour une assurance d'expatriée.

I was insured from 2014 to 2021 and the service kept declining. Today, emails to customer service are regularly ignored so you have to complain to the underwriter more and more. Refunds are repeatedly calculated incorrectly (not in accordance with the T&C) and staff keep committing the same refund calculation mistakes over and over again. Getting them to correct it can take 2 months and several complaints. Refunds directly to hospitals and clinics are delayed so much that I was once close to getting urgent surgery denied at an eye clinic (after retinal detachment) because their previous invoice remained unpaid. Chasing up payment was a complete nightmare with nobody knowing anything or taking responsibility and emails being ignored.
Even my cancellation of the policy was ignored, so I had to complain to the underwriter again.
Avoid like the pest if you value your health. It is a shambolic company with staff that don't care about doing things right or treating their clients right.

MSH, pour moi, c'est une horreur.
Adhérent à UNEO, j'ai contracté un contrat GLOBAL MONDIAL auprès de MSH via Unéo fin septembre 2021.
MSH a réceptionné le contrat mi octobre 2021. Depuis (1 mois) je n'ai reçu AUCUNE information, AUCUNE carte, AUCUNE attestation, AUCUN mail de bienvenue :RIEN DE RIEN.
Je service clientèle me dit que mon contrat est en cours mais rien ne le prouve !
J'ai téléphoné 3 fois au service clientèle qui soit disant à "remonté l'information".
J'ai écris 4 emails auxquels MSH n'a pas répondu (mis à part le message automatique de réception).
Bref je suis adhérent, je vais payer des cotisations MAIS JE SUIS COMPLEMENT IGNORE PAR CETTE ASSURANCE SANS AUCUN MOYEN DE PROUVER QUE JE SUIS ADHERENT.
En plus, pour couronner le tout, pour aller en Thailande ou je dois m'expatrier, j'ai besoin d'une attestation d'assurance santé. J'ai beau la demander 5service client ET email), JE NE RECOIS RIEN et je crains de ne même pas pouvoir partir car, en l'absence cette attestation d'assurance santé, l'accès à l'avion me sera refusé par la compagnie aérienne.
SCANDALEUX la façon dont MSH traite ses nouveaux adhérents.
Alors, un bon conseil, allez voir la concurrence...

I'm writing to customer service several times regarding the enrollment process and NEVER get to proper response. My company allows employee to insure our dependent as a benefit. I was not informed about providing additional info of my spouse while enrolled. There is NO confirmation, NO reminder at all to provide spouse info during and after the enrollment process.
I was enrolled on 13th May, 2020 where my spouse should be enrolled at the same time as I do.
I later found out my spouse was not enrolled successfully because I need to provide additional info in the application form.
Due to this process issue, I have to re-enroll my spouse and the policy took effect on 13th May, 2021.
My spouse was pregnant around April, due to this issue, there is a 12 months waiting period which prevent us from using relevant maternity benefit.
If my spouse was enrolled correctly in 2020, there wouldn’t be any issue. I have written to MSH China but never get a good response about the enrollment process. They told me they will review with their internal team but NEVER get back to me. I requested the customer to call back but they just ignore my requests. Please be careful. Don't use MSH at all.

THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE
Almost every time I email MSH team, I dread their response because they will NEVER answer your question. No matter how thoroughly I explained, they won't process your information. It's exhausting to deal with health matters, it's more exhausting to deal with an incompetent team of customer service.
They also compensate the hospitals really slow. I just received 3 bills for co-payment from 2019 and 2020! This was from my hospital and I quote "we have checked our record, the reason for the delay for treatment dated in year 2019 as we received the EOB from MSH in year 2021 only."
Here are two separate incidents in the span of a month...
1. My insurance is valid UNTIL 31 March 2021 yet proceed to charge me for medical treatment on that date. They refused to look into it until I had to escalate of matters to rectify their mistakes.
2. Asked about the medical bill in 2019. First person responded saying my insurance has expired, which we both knew. Second time (a different person) responded asking me to submit the bill for 13.07.2021 (it's only 11 August 2021!) and I already told them I'm asking about the bill from 2019.
Please fix your customer service. It's abysmal every time.
