Montrose Glass was formed in 2012 with the specific aim to deliver a cost-effective, professional, high-quality glazing service. We are a family run business with a team who has more than 20 years’ experience in the glazing industry, so you can always speak to a glazing expert directly for instant quotations and free advice. Montrose Glass is fully accredited and work to British Standards (ISO 9001/ISO 45001). We are also accredited in the safe contractor scheme, so you can rest assured of quality control with all of our works and procedures. As a safe contractor, we only employ highly qualified, experienced, professional and trustworthy glaziers. All our own glazing vans are fully stocked with the most common types of single glazing glass that we can cut on site. This means we could fix your window in the first visit! We pride ourselves on carrying out all glass and glazing works to the highest standards and on our clear and concise communication with our customers.

Atrocious and Rude
Made an appointment for a call out on a Friday which would mean they could only come out on Monday. Ringing around other companies someone could fit me in on the Friday. When I tried to cancel the appointment with Montrose Glass the guy was very rude and put the phone down before he had cancelled my appointment. I had to ring up again and speak to another person, I have no proof the appointment has been cancelled and when asked about my card details, they said they would be deleted. I would not recommend using a company like this and luckily found out early on how poor they operate. I believe the name was Jamie/James who was rude.

Dean the Director of Operations made a call to me based on the original review and it was a good respectful call where experiences and differences of opinions were discussed. I would like to say it is good that the reviews are looked at and he confirmed my appointment is now cancelled and card details are deleted from the system.
Also Discussing improvements to their process that I hope the business act upon.

Problem remedied…
The glazier came and made a very good job of fitting new glass into my landing window. However, having told him that I needed my main bedroom window not to open to its maximum each time by itself, he instead tied some existing string round the handle, and then said that I should tie the other end to an item of furniture. Not content with this, I phoned Montrose, and expressed my displeasure. The problem has since been remedied.

They delivered a fast same day response to an emergency breakage. When they fitted the replacement they cleared up the broken shards very diligently.
