Went into the Market Harborough branch to open a 160 day Notice Account on behalf of my elderly father, using POA. Claire could not have been more helpful during what is quite a complex process. She set me at ease, made sure I was comfortable and completed everything in a timely and professional manner. Amazing, I rang up quite stressed that I couldn’t find the customer number. And the lady on the phone was very very helpful. Stayed on the phone whilst my password was reset, and was in my account in less than 5 minutes

Called for confirmation of balance on a new account. Spoke to Emma who was very helpful, polite and professional.

When they send an email saying "we would like feed back on your transaction " dated two days ago, when the transaction was 4 weeks ago, causes panic. When you send emails put the date the transaction happed on the communication.

There was no lengthy wait to speak to someone. I explained my problem and Emma understood immediately what I was talking about and was able to reassure me that it could be sorted out very easily. She advised me to send a secure message to set out in writing what my issue was and layer I the same afternoon I received a reply confirming that money I had sent by mistake to the wrong account was returned to my bank.
In summary; a very helpful and knowledgeable response setting my mind at rest quickly. Couldn't have asked for better.
