Founded in 1919 as Mersey Timber Ltd the company has developed into a decorative board, sheet material specialist, hardware and bespoke manufacturing and cutting facility.
All of our products are responsibly sourced and, where appropriate, FSC certified. We stock a wide range of sheet materials including OSB; MDF; plywood; melamine faced chipboard; real wood veneers and an extensive range of decorative boards, either on stock or available to order, from the world’s leading manufacturers such as Kronospan, Egger, Xylo Cleaf, Sonae and Finsa to name but a few.

From our state of the art manufacturing facility in Liverpool we deliver all our products nationwide to customers in England, Scotland and Wales.
We provide bespoke cutting services and decorative edging services; the manufacture of made-to-measure kitchen and bedroom doors; carcass components; plinth and kickboard, cut to size MDF and other sheet material, made-to-measure shelving, and contract furniture production.
We also supply all aspects of hardware including hinges, handles, fixings, tool accessories, adhesives, sliding door gear, 3D wall, and much, much more.

We paid way over the top for a kitchen that came in the wrong colour.
We bought the kichen on the recommendation of our builder. However, when the wrong colour came and the company refused any liability we started looking into the company.
We subsequently realised we also paid way over the top (30% more) for a kitchen that can be sourced from other local companies.
This company also give kickbacks to builders to incentivise them to recommend their company to unwitting customers.
Please check online for cheaper options.
Furthermore if your builder recommends this company, you should question their integrity
For a cheaper Larissa Kitchen go to Solid Surface Kitchens in Wigan. They will save you a small fortune.
Update
Following the reply from the company can you please clarify the following points;
1/ Why did Terry Stevens (the company owner) confirm by email that I paid significantly more compared the Solid Surface Kitchen Direct? (You can visit the google review where I have uploaded the email from Terry Stephens). This email demonstrates the 30% cost uplift compared to the other company.
2/ If you don't work in conjunction with builders, why was my receipt just one Larissa Kitchen? By this I mean I was charged for other kitchen doors (from a separate range) that my builder ordered for a different customer. This was not put on my receipt but i was charged for this all the same.

Thank you for your feedback. We are sorry to hear that you are dissatisfied with your experience. However, we feel it is important to clarify several key points that have been misrepresented in your review.
Firstly, the colour of the kitchen you received was exactly the one that was ordered by your appointed representative. This was clearly stated on the invoice, which was sent directly to you for approval before any doors or panels were manufactured or dispatched. At no stage was there any discrepancy between the colour ordered and the colour delivered.
The issue regarding the colour was only raised more than a week after the kitchen had been fitted — by your fitter, who we must clarify is in no way affiliated with Mersey MDF, Plas & Ply. As a supplier, we do not offer a fitting service, nor do we take responsibility for the actions or errors of independent tradespeople.
When the colour dispute was raised, we reviewed the order history and correspondence in full and found no fault on our part. You were advised that we were under no obligation to change or replace the kitchen — a position that was later confirmed by your own legal counsel. Despite this, we remained courteous and professional throughout all correspondence.
We would also like to strongly refute the allegation that we offer any form of "kickback" to builders or third parties. This is simply untrue. Like many suppliers, we occasionally offer discretionary trade discounts, which are based solely on the recommended retail pricing from our manufacturers and balanced against our own cost prices. These are not incentives, nor are they exclusive to any individual or company.
While it is possible that similar kitchen styles may be offered by other companies, pricing is ultimately at the discretion of those businesses. The claim that you paid "over 30% more" is a highly selective and inflated figure that appears to have been used to support a narrative of overpayment rather than reflect the full context of the transaction.
We understand that a kitchen is a significant investment, and we always aim to ensure clarity and satisfaction with every order. In this case, we fulfilled the exact specification ordered and documented every step of the process with transparency.
