Perfect after sales service too

I ordered a Lenovo A850 from merimobiles on 2nd Dec 2013 for $153 USD after checking out feedback since they are a Chinese company. They have generally positive reviews other than cheap Chinese tablets that break down, but I wasn't ordering one of those, mine was a decent brand name so I figured I would be safe. Fast forward to it's arrival on the 19th Dec and on first boot up it has a flickery screen, which over a course of hours degenerates to only a tiny bar on the top being visible. I contact support on the 29th to give the Xmas period time to wind down, no response for over a week. I then file a PayPal dispute, I get a reply within a matter of hours.

It's took til today to get to some sort of conclusion, I finally have an RMA PDF to print out and return. However here is the important bit, to ship back the phone to China from the UK will cost $109 USD (they forbid the use of couriers, making it vastly more expensive) and they state they will reimburse you $25 USD if you choose replacement (and they deem it DOA), but not if you choose refund, then you get nothing.

No option they offer will end up with me having a working phone at a price I couldn't have got it for here in the UK from an importer, with a proper warranty.

The three options I have are, RMA it, and choose replacement, which I will be out of pocket by $84 USD and months of waiting for a possibly working phone. RMA it and choose refund, but be out of pocket by $109 USD and a waiting time of months while they check 'DOA' status by shipping back to the manufacturer. Leaving me with option three, suck it up, be $153 USD out of pocket, without a massive amount of hassle, which is pretty much the option they want you to choose.

I think I'll choose the suck it up option, put my web design and SEO skills into creating a website to highlight these practises so users can make an informed decision when they search for feedback on merimobiles.

I purchased a phone through this company which sadly became defect due to a problem with the LCD screen. Luckily, this happened within the three month manufactrers warranty, so I sent the phone to MeriMobiles in China where the phone was further sent to the manufacturer, who unfortunately did not feel like repairing the phone without charging me 86$.
However, through contact with costumer service and MeriMobiles' manager, the problem was solved by MeriMobiles having to pay for the repair - undoubtedly a sad situation for MeriMobiles as a company, but what this shows me is that at least MeriMobiles take their costumers seriously when it comes to solving their problems.
I am so happy that MeriMobiles decided to pay for the repair, even though I do not believe it was their job to do in the first place, but in fact the manufacturer of the phone.

I do recommend this company due to their low-price high-quality smartphones and their intentions of satisfying their costumers.

I was also most pleasanty surprised by the quality of support from especially the chat-supporter on MeriMobiles' main webpage and the help and response I got from the manager.

I highly recommend writing to the chat supporter if you have any questions when buying your product as this may save you some time and confusion.

Further, the phone I purchased WAS WAY BETTER than what I had thought it would be.

Merimobiles was the best find i made recently and made an excellent purchase. It is Huawei G700 Dual Sim. All my queries was very well answered by there Customer Services team before i made my purchase. I was bit skeptical and wasn't sure if the phone will work in UK. I was very well assured by John (from customer serivces team). As my phone was not rooted, i was been very well guided by Mr. Ace from Technical Support team.

Hi my daughter recently bought a phone but not from Merimobiles & when I was looking at some I was able to live chat and ask some questions about the phone I wanted and I also asked about the phone that the daughter had bought as it was not rooted and it didn't have play store loaded to download any games or anything. The person I was chatting with said just send an email to merimobiles support and they will be able to help you. I did that and the support was overwelmining to help me with a mobile phone that was not even bought from Merimobiles. Merimobiles are there to help the people that have purchased products from them and also so that have not. I can not thank Merimobles enough for there support and recommend them highly for anybody that wants to purchase there products. I have since bought several phones from them and feel very confident that the product is very could and it feels great to know that Merimobiles will be there to help when needed. I bought one lenovo a820, great machine this smartpphone!!!and the merimobiles install for me my language and play store, and delete chinese apps who i dont understund of course :). That kind of is my reaction to the transaction - I had some trepidation about sending that much money to a relatively unknown company in China, for a China-only dual-SIM HTC One. I had read a bit about them on the web, they came recommended on some geek sites...so I bit the bullet and ordered. Complicated a bit as I wanted it delivered to where I was on vacation rather than home, so we had some bank payment issues to resolve (used PayPal in the end), but once resolved they shipped fast and DHL took care of the rest. Fully rooted and English language (although some of the default News providers were all Chinese, as were the printed manuals), perfect condition and ready to rock. I am going to put my UK SIM in it today. Cannot fault Merimobile's communications, processing, or delivery...my bank issue and alternative delivery address made me test all of them. Very, very well done. There are other reviews of Merimobiles that stress that buying cheaper China-market tablets and phones have had problems, but these always seem to be with the cheap devices, not Merimobile's service. If you understand that you may have limited support once bought, ordering the actual device was a very good transaction.

Reasons of shopping online vary from person to person but as for me, my major reason that I buy online is because of the convenience of not having to go to mall and face a chaotic crowd . That's when I found this store merimobiles.com. This is actually one of my fave store now.No kidding.I always have a favorite store for a specific needs like clothing,beauty store, electronics etc..But when you're looking for a cheap smartphones with good qualities, no doubt I recommend them. Let me share with you my first experience with them (but definitely not the last). It was about 3 weeks ago that I was looking for a phone to be gifted to my very good friend. I know her taste but she's not the kind of person who loves to throw a fortune over a phone so I was thinking of giving her a phone that's very sleek,not to geeky, doesn't look cheap but priced as cheap! Been on the lookout for a dual sim phone for a long time. I usually buy locally it makes an old Cusp like me more comfortable. I did find a lot of sites to purchave from. What drew me to merinobiles is they answered my request faster and the fact that they have a 1800 number where you can actually speak to someone I ordered the I ocean X7 and it exceeded my expectations . I'm such a money-saver product geek and so I scour the internet just to find a store that sells the cheapest.That's when I found merimobiles.com .I was looking for Cube U35GT and compared their price to other store. Luckily for me, I found their price the cheapest. So I contacted their customer service to clarify few things about the product and ordered it the same day. Did I mention they have the friendliest and most helpful customer rep? And that they ship worldwide? Anyway, they shipped the product in the most convenient way of my choice and got it for around 2 weeks which is really fast than I expected. And I was really excited and happy with the item. Cube U35GT is affordable but incredibly amazing product I bought from Merimobiles. The design and the specs that I expected is what I really got when I roadtest the item. Overall, they have great service and I'm happy with the item that I received. I highly recommend this company! Will buy from them over and over again.

I'd been looking at all the potential sites I could buy a TCL branded phone and Merimobiles seemed to have the strongest ratings and reviews. After making my purchase, I began to notice all the negative reviews of the site that I'd somehow failed to read and started getting a bit worried.

Little things like my phone's case not being in stock and the tracking number not being sent when expected made me even more nervous but I ended up receiving a tracking number only a few days after I'd made my purchase, and my phone only a day later! It took six days for my purchase to reach me from the day I placed my order and any questions or requests I had were very promptly answered by Crystal during this time.

Everything went through quickly without any problems. My advice to anyone wanting to buy something from Merimobiles but is hesitating a bit, message the company whenever you have any queries and use the chat function as well and they should get back to you quickly.

I would recommend Merimobiles for their great customer service, as I feel like if there were any major problems, Crystal would have helped me sort them out.

Bought some led lights 10 to be exact and 1 was defective. They sent me a replacement one once I got in contact with there online chat. Big thanks to Crystal and the Merimobiles Team

Myself and about 7 of my friends/clients have purchased tablets thru Merimobiles and besides some slow emails (only sometimes), they've been on the ball and have addresses any problems we had with the products. They are friendly and honest and product almost always ships as promised. I'd highly recommend them. Support staff Jay and Crystal has always made my shopping a pleasure.

You can't go wrong with merimobiles.
Apart from other sites, merimobiles has a preorder team that can help you decide on your buy. and customer service (with its normal dificulties from being an online help) is also recomended.

I made the purchase online on May 20th, on the 24th gave me the tracking number, and on May 31 the order was in my hands, to point out that the shipment was by Ems and that my country is Portugal, one complicated country to the level of Customs.
Throughout this process I had a good online service were all very helpful.
I only have one negative thing to say, and if possible to improve, I wonder why 3 days of order processing?

I've had the device a while now and i love it. Especially if you get a custom Rom on there if you have no use for the Chinese apps. It runs super smooth and every single app works without any lag. Furthermore the phone shipped all the way from China to The Netherlands in just a few days and merimobiles was helpful at answering my questions.
I would recommend this device and this website to everyone that's looking for top of the line hardware and a fast and reliable service.
