Double charged instead of Refund

I ordered a part and returned it for a refund instead they charged me again. They can’t refund me until that charge has cleared bank. So they owe me two refunds for a part they have back. I believe this was on purpose after reading so many bad reviews. This company scams people and is obvious. The BBB needs to get involved. I wish these criminal companies would be shut down but for some reason they keep getting away with it. So Sad!!!!

I ordered a Hayward - W3T-CELL-15 Turbo Cell (T-CELL 15) Salt Cell with 15-ft Cable - 40,000 Gallons Item No: 340087. For pick-up at my local store: Pickup at Store #885 1641 GULF TO BAY BLVD Clearwater, FL 33755-6422 Phone (727) 462-0179. A little more than other stores are selling this product for but I thought it would be worth it to support a local business. The website said the local store had two in stock. Wrong. Leslies immediately charged my card. However, when I went to the store, the manager told me they had no record of the transaction and would neither give me the product nor a refund. They also refused to provide a phone number for their corporate offices. I eventually found the number online (800-537-5437) and managed to get a refund. Well, I supposedly will be getting a refund. It seems they can charge my card instantly but refunding money for a failed scam takes 3-5 days.

I'd give less if I could

I'd give less if I could. The store itself is great, I've shopped with them and spent quite a bit of money over the past 4 years but the company part that handles installing safely safety pool covers is not! They drilled into a pipe which drained my 30,000 gallon pool empty which in turned also damaged the liner we just had replaced 4 years ago and all they could say was you signed a waiver. Do not use them for a safety cover unless you want to get left with thousand of dollars worth of damages!
Update: we had a leak detector come out and in fact found the leak and it was from the anchor being drilled thru one of the pipes!
Leslies said basically said too bad, not our problem WHEN THEIR TECHNICIAN DRILLED THRU THE PIPE!!! Why would they blindly drill without know where the pipes were??? They is so negligent and careless and shows the blatant disrespect of someone's property!!! We have been loyal customers for the 3 summers we've had our pool, spending thousands of dollars and now they're incompetency and negligence are gonna cost my family thousands of dollars to repair!!!!

I should give them a NEGATIVE 5.. they don't even deserve 5 stars. Their promotions are false advertising. They had offered free installation for some parts we bought and we spent almost $3,000 with them and when their technicians showed up they had to charge us more for parts and one of the items we bougth was not included for installing. This company should not be in business.

Terrible company to work for!!

Terrible company to work for!!! I had the sales numbers at rank 1 for a month straight and still got blamed and reprimanded for numbers not being where they want them. Makes no sense to me because im sure being ranked number 1 says I was doing my job but what do I know right?? Nothing is good enough for them.. Terrible pricing on products and service, they just shuffle the price tag around for a month then end it abruptly because numbers arent adequate and call it a sale. They work their employees to the bone without hiring proper help. (Most likely to pinch a penny where they can) I've witnessed so many employee changes happen over the few years I've worked there, higher management included. Not sure if thats how a company is supposed to run or if they are just running around like a chicken without a head. Their equipment is refurbished garbage they just repair and send back out to other stores like its brand new. They wonder why all the equipment fails and falls apart.. "We are like a family, reach out to me for anything if you need help." Never ever trust these words from a company. Do not work for them unless you enjoy being worked to the bone and blamed for bad numbers.

Leslie’s custom spa cover Phoenix, Az

I purchased a cover for my inground spa from Leslies custon spa shop out of Phoenix, Az including a anchoring kit. The anchor kit did not come with the cover so I notified the rep that I ordered from that it was missing. Approximately 3 weeks later I received a kit to attach a above ground spa cover. So I called again and a few weeks later I received 1 of the 4 anchors and no removal tool. So I called again a few weeks later I received 1 more anchor. So I called again the rep he said he would fix the problem but that was a few weeks ago and I’ve heard nothing. To me this should have been an easy issue to fix so either the reps are incompetent or just don’t care

The worse company to work because there is no educated leader working there ( my district manager couldn't write English word ) I was great MY store was number one in the districts , JOHN MACALUSO was the DM want to get me fired , they did a lot , but couldn't succeed , so at the end showed me the @FBI poster in the restroom and said : He has friend over there , so I was like ? he left my store and next week came to my store @9:30am on 9/21/21 and told : YOU BETRAYED ME AND I HAVE A POLICE FRIEND TO PUT YOU DOWN , so next day called his FBI or police friend with his personal phone not my store phone, so and told me come talk with my police friend...etc my life got up side down some racist attacked mt life my personality they terror my character by making lies setting up my moment to hurt me to put me down everyday 24/7 to now , once they send people on my way to tell me leave America we dont like you...etc I am here right now , but under hate and racist attack everyday , jealous and evils people saw my luxury car my universal attitude my energy felt sick because of their lack of quality...etc After 6yrs I found out they are above of the LAW and hurting citizens in hidden zone , they destroy my life by set me up or send some people to hurt me , destroy my reputation because they start brainwashing other mind against me to tell lies gossip ,wasting citizens, WHY because I was trying to SUE that company , so they have @FBI team to put you down in order to save money for corporation and ruin citizens life , this is NAZI action , but for 6yrs everyday 24/7 I receive hate disrespect disparagement abuse like im detached ant sitting home , I cant find a job I cant do nothing , so please dont work for that company becasue they destroy Environment by putting chemical outside of the store not storing it proper , put wast in the valley or street , so in other hand they have FBI team to destroy you if you are smart and helpful , so If you love your life and love your kids life , dont support this retarded company becasue its against of America and American , I didnt se peace in my life no love just hate and attack for 6yrs and I am looking to runaway again before they hurt me , so please dont let you family your friend even work there or buy something from them , dont support them at all and help American freedom and peace....etc

Veterans and my friends

Veterans and my friends in the community DO NOT purchase a Raypak Pool Heater from Leslie Pool. I purchased an electric Raypak Pool Heater and Leslie Pool installed 6 months ago. Now the electric Raypak Heater was under a 5-year warranty. After uncovering my pool and getting it ready for a swim, I found the Raypak had a leak. I called Leslie Pool, and they stated they do not work on electric Raypak heaters. I was upset and asked, " What do you mean you don't work/service the electric Raypak Heater! I was told to call the Raypak dealer because Leslie Pool would only service propane or gas Raypak Heaters. At the time of purchase at Lelsie Pool, no one explained this to me prior to my purchase. I would never purchase an item, have it installed, and then have the same company not honor the warranty or service the equipment they are selling. Veterans and my fellow community friends, beware of Leslie Pool.

Terrible experience

I had a terrible experience with this company and their customer service. I purchased a pool vacuum, and they shipped it with “signature required” delivery without providing any flexibility for customers who work during delivery hours. Since nobody was home to sign for the package, the order could not be delivered.

I called multiple times trying to find a solution, including asking them to authorize FedEx to hold the package at a local pickup location so I could pick it up myself. Despite several calls, they refused to help and gave me absolutely no reasonable options to receive an item I already paid for.

The entire process was frustrating, inconvenient, and completely avoidable with even basic customer service. I will never do business with this company again and would not recommend them to others.

Highly disappointed in this company

Highly disappointed in this company! Went with Leslie’s Pool Supply instead of other options when ordering a $1000 filter replacement since they were supposed to be a good company. New filter arrived with the top damaged. Talked to customer service, provided photo of damaged item and asked for a replacement part (again, only needed the top). Was initially told to ship entire filter back by FedEx at my expense or take to a Leslie store (which is not nearby) and when they processed the return, they would ship out the new one. I asked to speak to a manager and was then informed they could provide a shipping label but even if I sent them a copy of the return, they would still not ship the replacement until the return was received and was processed. I still do not understand why they couldn’t just ship me a replacement top. Their replacement ‘process’ would delay my pool opening by at least 2 weeks.
I ended up sending the filter back and requested a full refund. I have ordered the filter from another store and it will ship out to me today.

Disappointing Experience with Warranty…

Disappointing Experience with Warranty Service - Leslie's Cape Coral

We purchased a Polaris pool cleaner from the Leslie's Pools location at 1715 Cape Coral Pkwy W (next to Lobster Lady) for approximately $1,600.

After only a few months of ownership, we returned the unit for warranty service. Unfortunately, the process was extremely frustrating. When we went to pick up the cleaner, we were presented with a different unit that appeared significantly older, worn, and faded--nothing like the newer machine we originally brought in.

During the visit, I also observed multiple Polaris cleaners in the back of the store awaiting service, which raised additional concerns about handling and turnaround.

We have since escalated the issue to corporate and are currently working through their review process and Anthony Hatch with Risk Management (602)635-0941 denied my request.

Based on this experience, I would strongly recommend confirming warranty procedures and documentation before purchasing, and carefully verifying any equipment returned after service. If you think Leslies is going to be in your corner if they sell you a bad product your mistaken.

Leslie's just lost a good customer for life!

I challenge anyone to ChatGPT Leslies pools in Fort Myers and Cape Coral without comes with Polaris Pool Cleaners. You will find something much bigger is going on behind closed doors.

Bad advise , No service

I ordered a pool pump online . I went on a Chat with a live customer service representative. I told them what I needed and asked if the pump I was looking at was the right one. They said YES. it was shipped to me in November. We had a lot of cold weather so by time I had it installed it was over a month. It was installed and wouldn’t prime , there was a crack in the basket. May have happened in shipping. Leslie basically said TOO BAD it’s past the 30 day return window. I finally got Hayward to convince them to exchange it, in March. Pool tech came back to install, now I find out it’s the wrong pump for my pool , so from the beginning, I should have given the correct pump advisement. Now I have a $450 pump which is useless. All due to misinformation from Leslie’s. MY advise : don’t buy from Leslie’s go on Amazon . They stand behind purchases and have an option to buy inexpensive extended warranty

Selling old stock

Poor quality in-ground pool cover; useless warranty, bad customer service

I usually purchase pool supplies from a local Leslies store because it is convenient, and I like the staff; but I ordered a pool cover from Leslies on-line last November because it was easy. Covers are usually good for two or three years, as evidenced by past use; but the cover I received from Leslies proved to be deeply flawed as it allows subsurface water to pass through the cover membrane and pool on the surface.

This makes the product useless because the purpose of a pool cover is to contain ponded rainwater so that it can be pumped to a drain and prevent contamination of the pool water, and to ensure that the stagnant surface water puddles are not available for mosquitoes to breed,

A pool cover is a rather low tech, simple product that needs only to maintain impermeability to fulfill its intended purpose; If it cannot do that, which is easy enough to ascertain, it is of no value for any other purpose.

Well, it is beyond comprehension that Leslies management would deny replacement of an obviously ineffective product, and then offer me a discount to repurchase a replacement for the same product that is likely to exhibit the very same flaws. How stupid would I have to be to take them up on that offer?

Beware of trading with an institution that hasn't quite grasped the meaning of customer satisfaction or vendor responsibility. What you get on the small stuff, you can fully expect on the big stuff.

Less than one star service or administration.

I only left one star because there is nothing less to rate the service. Had a scheduled appointment for a service call and received verification email. Company specified that service would take place between noon and 5 p.m. waited all day, no contact, attempt to call, recording says 'closed'. Skip the headache and frustration...go to Pinch-A-Penny or somewhere else. ANYWHERE BUT HERE !
