Really easy going and stress free experience, especially when compared with every other letting agents I’ve dealt with previously. Heather was incredibly helpful and friendly from the start of the process right up until when I moved in, you honestly couldn’t ask for a more attentive and friendly agent. Chloe was also great over emails, she was quick to answer any questions I had and always happy to help. Overall good experience

Avoid at all cost. They will try to hold your deposit and take some money and use it to refurbish the property. They tried to charge us for the blinds that we did not break, cleaning fee (even though I have cleaned the house thoroughly before leaving) and paint damages which is very stubtle. Thankfully, we have taken some photos before moving in to that property and showed them some proofs. Until now they are quiet when asked about the deposit. To whom should I report this? Please help me.

And also, I would like to add that they do not respond with any maintenance issues when you report to them. It happened to me and to my friends who are also renting from them. Not sure if the landlords are aware of this.

Many good reviews which I was one of them at the start, they do great to get you in the property and sign the contract, then suddenly unresponsive, no one will fix anything, you eventually decide to leave and they make sure they hold the deposit for longer and never respond on time to advise.

I’ve never felt compelled to leave a negative review before, but my experience with Leef Properties was so appalling that I feel obligated to warn others. I moved into a property that was dirty and had broken essential items, including a fridge that was never repaired despite numerous emails requesting support.

The communication and organisation from Leef were the worst I’ve ever encountered, completely unprofessional and unreliable. I was initially told my move-out date would be accepted, only for them to later reverse this and demand an extra month’s rent, even though I was no longer living there. They then deducted this from my deposit.

To make matters worse, I left the property in significantly better condition than I found it, including replacing broken appliances out of my own pocket.

This company is deeply untrustworthy and should be avoided.

Heather Jane Howarth. gets all these stars. She was responsible for showing my son round a property. She was soooo friendly and professional. Easy to talk to and felt you could ask her anything. Nothing was too much trouble. Heather was ALWAYS at the end of the phone to assist my sons worries, she always sorted them out.. In my opinion an all round professional a masive bonus for leef properties. No specific date just the whole of May and now June with us every step of the way. Well done Heather. 😊

Great experience when getting a flat. Had a viewing with Claire who was very friendly and assisted me in making an application for the flat. When receiving the keys to the flat she was very helpful in showing all the appliances, water and electric readings

I was pleased by the service at first, Heather was lovely and very informative. However, once we moved into the property things started to deteriorate and the flat was in dire need of repairs. They were helpful at first for a few initial repairs I reported but after that nobody has been since. More significant repairs began needing to be done, for example the roof started to leak causing mold but we were told to 'keep wiping it down' and that the roof would be repaired. Baring in mind we are now well into our contract and nothing has been done, I continue to report issues but nobody even responds anymore. I would not recommend this estate agent at all, we have been taken advantage of as young people moving into our first flat and the way we have been treated is appalling.

Heather is very helpful and professional. I can tell she really care about her customers and finding the right property for them.
