Started out lovely, the house viewing was really polite, house looked good with minor issues we were told would be fixed before we moved in.
We moved in and problems not fixed, reported on the portal and took 3-4 days to fix. Fine no problem, they were emergent.
Been here a couple of months now and the house is held together with what feels like glue, we’re finding lots of issues which comes down to being poorly built which we were not made aware of.
The kicker is we found out 2 weeks ago that we have no heating, I tried everything to get it working to no avail. Reported it on the portal which says heating issues are emergent and will be responded too in 24-48 hours. Well it’s been 2 weeks and nothing. We reported multiple things since and nothing. We tried emailing last week and nothing.
We’re both busy with work so my partner tried to call the office for an update only to be met by an extremly hostile receptionist who just said the property manager isn’t in. When questioned about any kind of emergency contact we can have to call, she just started shouting abuse at my partner.
We’re now expected to wait god knows how long to get our heating fixed with no way too speed up the process… lovely

Heather arrived promptly and had given sufficient notice. She had evidently had a busy morning and looked like she could do with a 2 day spa experience ;)
Despite her tiredness, she was very professional and friendly and took her shoes off before entering the property. She took many photos in a non-intrusive way and was friendly and chatty. All that chat and driving around Manchester surely warrants a deep tissue full body massage. Heather would deserve to sit in a jacuzzi with her feet up after all this amazing effort to be polite and professional. Thanks Heather for making the inspection quick and unintimidating! (Written using my own free will. No coercion necessary. No bribes accepted. Heather's hair is amazing - and her nails. If only she could upkeep them at a spa...)

Worst agency we have dealt with. I would warn all people off looking to rent with leef (read all 1 stars before going ahead) and warn landlords that if your property is not rented out in a reasonable time it is because of the terrible agents.

Odd that they expect you to pay the holding fee before any terms and conditions are sent & signed and then the terms and conditions say it is non-refundable once they send them. 🚩

Wanted full rent and deposit upfront because of being a student in a student and working professional couple household, didn't even bother to properly put a guarantor through referencing and wanted the sensitive info sent over by email instead of through a tenancy portal, we were willing to send the money but as they kept expecting the money before we had a legal contract enclosing the 12 months rent was being paid in full, we refused.

Impossible to contact or get in contact with in a reasonable time.🚩

Many false promises made by different agents about a move in date and when they would ring back, just to get us to apply and to stick with them, receptionist is horribly rude to everyone who we know called up and often refuses to pass you on or lies that they have left a message.

The awful agent who was dealing with the property asked us to send almost 13k total upfront without a contract and saying to send it today & then the next day being told SHE NO LONGER WORKS THERE ONLY AFTER WE RANG UP 3PM THE FOLLOWING DAY TO CHASE UP??? spelling mistakes in emails, no email signature sign off at the end of half of the emails and to top it off, the emails end with a message that basically says don't take anything said in emails to be legally binding, so imagine if we sent the years rent before signing a contract like they wanted, very off.

I seriously suggest the company change to actually being accessible by phone and email. Can you imagine the nightmare to contact them if there was an issue if this is how they behave when they are trying to get a tenant in!

Couldn’t have asked for a better viewing . Heather was very professional and made us feel extremely comfortable with the viewing.

Claire showed us round Eastham House and the service was great. She was extremely welcoming and gave us background information on the building, as well as answering all our questions. Would go with leef properties again :)

House inspector Mo she's was very warm friendly lovely lady made us feel at ease right away. She was very informative and answered all our questions about the little jobs we needed doing. She was taking notes as my husband showed her around . Good correspondence between us before the inspection . Arrived on the time we arranged. Thank you Mo

Today I had a house inspection from Heather at Leef Property. Heather was very respectful from the moment she walked through the door, she asked me if I wanted her to take off her shoes and made me feel at ease coming into my home. Once I had identified some of the areas that needed repairing, Heather was extremely understanding and reassured me that she would report the issues promptly, giving me extra guidance on what to do at my end. Heather was very professional, personable and responsive and had an empathetic and kind approach to any concerns I had. Thank you Heather!

Viewing was perfect, Claire was really helpful in any questions we had and provided a very professional service throughout.

If I could give 0 star I would! Ignored all requests for repairs in the end my Son had to give early notice on his tenancy as the damp was affecting his health. Bathroom was unusable with water leaking through the ceiling. Reported to EH who found multiple hazards.

We were having a hard time finding a property, specially because we were in another city and searching from another. Then we met with Leef Property and Claire. Claire is such a friendly person who made our process super easy. Even afterwards she has been so cooperative.

Claire was super friendly and down to earth, she made me feel comfortable straight away. She was also really informative and answered any questions I had straight away regarding the property and afterwards when it came to filling out the application forms.

Organisation's are nothing without the people and Ellie is one such personality that gives her all into her job. A jovial, patient professional, she is. Ellie made our transition process quite clear and concise, she was able to manage my very hectic schedule, constantly suggesting how she can work her schedule around mine due to my job.

She was detailed in carrying out her the user experience of the apartment during my first visit and I fell in love with the property and the various management strategies out in place to ensure a smooth tenancy run. I had no choice but to subscribe to Leef, if there be any potential tenant, I hope you get to meet Ellie, she would convince you...Hahaha.

We were initially quite disheartened with our Leef Properties journey as we did entail a few communication issues and face a few hurdles with mistakes made on our application. However, Eloise at All Six House certainly restored our faith and made the process extremely smooth for us and made us feel extremely welcome. Eloise is a credit to the company and deserves to be recognised for her high standard of service that she provides. We would definitely recommend Eloise to help guide you with Leef Properties.
