Product (a Dyson) excellent, excellent value and exactly as described. Delivered first thing Monday, having been ordered Friday (3-5 day service), so extremely pleased. Only tiny quibble: was not given password or memorable question by Customer Service (ordered by phone), so had to work it out when visited website! But only a small niggle - overall, excellent indeed, would wholeheartedly recommend and most definitely use again.

Love their computer deals, great customer service.

Ordered an item and received an invoice via email the next day clearly stating the order was dispatched. Waited over a week, then emailed them only to be told it had been dispatched today - 6 working days after the "dispatch" date.

And - for those of you who don't know, this is just another outlet for Comet........the likes of which I avoid like the plague. At least I know now.

Laskys despatched my 3 items on 17 dec 2010, took payment on the 20th, its now 10/01/10 - still waiting for last item despite complaints. lLaskys wouldnt even investigate until 10 working days from 17th which was ages because of all the holidays. even when they did they have failed to fulfil my order, though still have my money -await response but will not use again

I thought they were fantastic, best price online for both items (washing machine and tumble dryer) and on top of that we got a further discount for buying multiple items. A good delivery window rather than having to wait in all day. Also deliver on Sundays which is great! Highly recommended!

After asking Lasky's to do a price comparison on 3 items (as I am about to move home shortly) they came back with goods I found cheaper at other stores and said they couldn't match. I find it misleading to a certain respect when you go on a website and it states that they can price match another company. I wonder how many people are fooled into thinking Lasky's goods are the cheapest?
Anyway, two of the three where cheaper elsewhere, but a microwave was £11 cheaper than anywhere else having done my research.

My microwave arrived with 5 working days of ordering which was fine by me. Having used it just the once, a rattling/vibrating noise was heard. I emailed the maker direct to ask if this was normal as Lasky's Customer Services stated "I have the exact same microwave and it vibrates when carrying out certain programmes and this is normal." However, I didn't get that reply back from the maker. In fact, after 40 secs using the unit, the vibration started again, and so Lasky's decided to replace.

They sent the 2nd one out a few days later (having taken time off work again) and when it arrived, there was rips all over each side of the box. To make matters worse, the underside of the box (which I just happened to notice as the delivery guy was walking towards me) was soaking wet; so much so that the cardboard was beginning to fail. To compound my disgrace, the driver then dropped the box on the floor!

I decline the delivery and Lasky's went away with my oven, and the one they tried to deliver. Two days later, another oven (having taken the morning off work because they stated it would be AM delivery) it turned up 2 ish, they attempted to deliver to me the exact same oven with all the rips/wet/damage etc. I declined again.

The third time they attempted to deliver was yesterday. 7.30am delivery (so as not to take time off work). Arrived bang on the dot - result!!! oh, except for the fact that it was the SAME one yet again (only a little more drier than before).

They have refunded my money, and I have purchased elsewhere, and although have apologised (big deal), they wouldn't offer any goodwill gesture for the inconvenience/time off work etc and the fact that due to their inability, I have had to go elsewhere to purchase same.

I wouldn't shop with them again even if I found an item far cheaper. They are a disgrace and quite obviously attempted to hoodwink me into believing the oven was new each time.

Update:
Having just received the same oven from another Electrical Retailer, It has come packaged completely differently (I mean polystyrene in places the other one didn't, sellotaped in places, even protective paper etc) and all the racks etc that come with the oven were all strapped together, with polystyrene. My oven from Lasky's had very little protection in the box and certainly, hardly any polystyrene! All the racks/glass etc was all loose inside the oven. It is my opinion therefore that the initiall oven I received was a return...it was certainly unpacked at the very least, that is for sure. Maybe the original owner complained about the vibrating too. To add to this theory, I have just ran the "before use... 5 minute convection" programme to "burn off" the oil that is used to stop the oven rusting and can smell a real strong smell of oil. Funny; the one I got from Lasky's didn't have this smell at all on performing the same task? Some poor, unsuspecting person will be getting this no doubt in the not too distant future.

Even more interesting is the fact that I have with this microwave, a "Panasonic" registery leaflet" On going on their website, it asks for the product serial number. What a surprise to learn I didn't get this leaflet with the one from Lasky's. Oh dear, oh dear. It just gets worse for them. AND, I've found my serial number on my new oven. It's on a sticky label on the inside of the door, on the right. Funny that my first oven didn't even have a sticker!!

Laskys website asks potential buyers to contact them for the best price if they intend to purchase 3 or more items. I did this and heard nothing from them. Consequently, I phoned them on three separate occasions and was told that someone would be in touch with me that day - no one ever did. I waited for four days in total. I phoned to complain and asked for a manager to phone me - I'm still waiting. I found this experience simply a waste of time. When I did contact them I found their operatives off-hand, verging on rude. They certainly did not inspire me with confidence. I bought my Tosiba netbook from them because they were the cheapest. I took my other business - a further £500 elsewhere. The company is owned by Comet. I would stay clear.
