We wanted a refresh/makeover rather than totally new in our small kitchen. There was no "hard sell" from Ellie. She understood well the "look" we wanted to achieve and the need to update some of the appliances. We were never pushed to "do more".
There was lots of explanation along the way which was very helpful. The team were always available to discuss any issues (real or imaginary!).
Because it was a smaller job some of the onsite times slipped slightly as we were waiting for a variety of trades to complete their tasks.
All the craftsmen were clearly well skilled and a pleasure to have onsite.
It's early days but we are very pleased with the modern look and new appliances.

Cannot honestly thank KBD enough. From the moment I made that first appointment at the showroom I felt like these people care and they really do! Listening to all the research I had done they pieced together a kitchen that I envisaged while also making it work to an agreed budget.

Every single tradesman that worked on the kitchen were fantastic and friendly, their attention to detail I have to say was next to none.
Everything was arranged, organised and project managed by KBD. The whole package from ripping out the old kitchen to plastering, all electrics, sockets and lighting, capping off gas, kitchen cupboard building, creating the false chimney breast, tiling (even changing my mind on the cooker splash back which delayed them a day) but again they were more than happy that we got it how we wanted. The flooring again through KBD recommendation, was with WP Flooring, again such attention to detail. Love it all!

KDB went way above and beyond to make sure everything was spot on and if there was a query, something we weren’t sure of or wanted to change along the way, they worked with us, making us feel like it wasn’t a bother. Being someone that can’t always make immediate decisions, I never once felt rushed.

I absolutely love the look and layout of our kitchen so much, the quality of everything is just lovely and so solid too. We feel very lucky and very grateful indeed.

Fantastic service from Jamie and all his team at Dexters. We're delighted with our kitchen and the service was first rate. Right through from design to supplying and fitting. All the tradespeople were friendly and efficient and Jamie went out of his way to source certain specific things for us that we wanted. We were having building work done and Jamie and his team worked really well with the builders to make sure everything was done seamlessly. Highly recommended!

After getting designs and quotes at one big brand place, we weren’t happy with their options for the areas that needed bespoke solutions in our kitchen (weird angles!). We popped in to Dexter’s to see if they could offer better solutions. We could also tell that the big brand quote seemed cheaper on the face of it, but clearly would have lots of add ins and hidden costs to achieve the standard we wanted. Dexter’s team have been friendly, open and skilled throughout the whole process. We were supported and guided through the big process of a total kitchen redesign, we were advised on where to save and when to splurge to get the quality we wanted. We are so happy with the finished result, and even more so that the experience of getting there has been so positive! The work team did an incredible job, they were not just experts but polite and friendly, and accommodating and patient with our questions and requests for changes. Couldn’t be more happy with our new kitchen. And we are so pleased that we shopped local with a small business too. Thanks so much guys!

Jamie and his team have provided an excellent service. The kitchen units and appliances are first class quality and fitted to perfection. Many thanks to Guy (the fitter) for being so patient with us and working on a Sunday just so that we would have cooking facilities. The kitchen works so well for our needs, which is all down to brilliant planning. Any problems we had, which are to be expected, have been handled sympathetically.

We've recently bought our first house and the kitchen needed massive work. After looking online and going into several kitchen fitters we absolutely loved the range and options shown at Kitchens by Dexter.

In the store we've received a lot of help from Emma, Martin and Jamie who were kind, patient and have all contributed to our designs with insight and experience which was very helpful because it influenced decisions we had to make with the builders as we removed a couple of walls and built a new WC and utility room and needed to get the layout just right.

Now that this is all behind us, we love our beautiful new kitchen, the aesthetics and the well fitted doors and hinges, everything works great and we've enjoyed Ade's company throughout the installation and the great work by the time.

Following a bad experience with Wren, we approached KBD. What a difference! A great team, Emma designer and Jamie project manager through to the tradesmen all did a good job. Any minor issues were quickly resolved by Jamie.

I had wanted to renovate our kitchen since we moved into our house over 3 years ago. We chose kitchens by Dexter as they were able to manage the whole project themselves, including knocking through into the dining room and creating a small utility space. Martin’s clever design allowed us space for an island which I didn’t think was ever a possibility! The renovation didn’t come without challenges but they were dealt with quickly and professionally and the team have been a pleasure to deal with. Martin has completed 2 large Kitchen and Utility rooms for me ,in different houses, AND for friends of mine who I have recommended KBD to.
The showroom is brilliant (and the welcoming cuppa as you walk in the door). I love the showroom because there’s so much on display to give you great ideas of colours, textures, shapes, styles, materials which really give you a sense of how yours might look if you are struggling to visualise the end job.
Following the welcome and look around you are invited to sit at the island and watch it “all come to life” as Martin and the team go about drawing/planning it out on the CAD in the showroom which is impressive and builds the confidence from the start. Once you have the set of drawing you can really imagine yourself in the space and you can see how beautiful the end job will be.
The team ensure you are really happy with your decisions and their years of experience shows in the advice and end result.
KBD is family run with strong ethnics, professional, fun and polite.
Through to fitting and completing the job it’s a great experience which you can’t say about many places these days - what Martin has done is built a business on reputation and great customer service where your decisions and budget are taken into account every step of the way …. Martin’s motto “if you are happy - we are happy” …. I can’t thank them enough which is why I always ready to recommend them and would return.

The overall service provided by KBD was professional and exceeded our expectations. Dealing with trade professionals can be daunting but the guys did a really good job of keeping us informed and managing our expectations.
