Having ordered £90 worth of shrubs - Philadelphus & Hydrangea, half of the order arrived with the plant pots packed on top of each other, broken stems, dropped leaves, very sad plants. Minimal packing to protect the plants in transit. The other half of the order didn't arrive. Philadelphus was out of stock by then so they said they'd refund, then the next day they were back in stock but the price had gone up. They would not honour the original price paid. J.Parker resent the Hydrangeas which arrived in same condition as 1st lot. They were refunded in full hence 2 stars instead of 1.

Extremely disappointed with this years bulbs 1 out of 9 have come up 😡 quite poor quality as well for the prices charged

Shocking service and plants. I ordered £80 worth of various shrubs of different sizes. What was basically delivered was a battered box of dying twigs. The parcel had been with the courier for over seven days and when I opened it, the plants were tangled and the pots were battered. Apparently J Parker’s think this is acceptable as having sent them photographs of the dead twigs I was told that this is normal.As these plants were on a par with the prices of a half decent garden centre I disagree. This company is shocking. I don’t anticipate any of these plants surviving and they went straight into the garden waste within minutes of their arrival. I am making a claim back on my credit card and intend to review J Parker anywhere and everywhere I can.

I ordered 2 lots of different ground covering perennials from the website, they were delivered a few weeks later, very small but it did state how big they would be on the description. They are all thriving and I’m very happy with my purchase. I received emails to let me know when they had been despatched, great communication and great product.

I bought a may flowering 5ltr shrub from J Parkers for £30.18 with postage. They sent me an old shrub that had yellowing leaves and no flowers it did not look like the photo on their website and I have no idea if it is even the correct shrub.
I emailed their customer services and got a reply stating I would be contacted with in the week. I've emailed them again after one week and have heard nothing. This is supposed to be a family business with 5 star reviews it's a joke.
I'll never buy from them again they are a terrible company and their customer service obviously does not exist.

This is a UK website that delivers plants to Ireland from an Irish warehouse in county Louth. I ordered 19 plants from there website on 17/03/2026 they were delivered on the 01/04/2026......April Fools day. I certainly believed it was an April fools joke when I opened the package to find that the enclosed plants bore absolutely no relationship to the plants I ordered from their website costing €87. They supply plants that are basically rooted cuttings taken from the previous Autumn in pots containing minimal compost. I am 77 years of age and it's doubtful I will live long enough to see the plants grow to the size and quality of those photographed for their website.
Please avoid this company. If the company spent less money on bombarding potential customers with adverts the product the sell may be a lot better. LP
