A reliable read - mostly accessible and non jargony
As a Co Sec, I find Investment Week to be a most reliable, easy to read, place to go for financial news, with what feels like a good governance lens. Grabby headlines, non jargony articles and a good variety of data, writers and viewpoints. A quick scan in the morning and at lunchtime sets me up for a well informed day at work.
Solid news that I read often
Solid news that I read often. A lot is hidden behind a paywall but I'm not complaining. I buy what I read most of the time so it doesn't cause me too many issues. And so far my ability to understand investments has improved so it's definitely worth a good review from me.
Very helpful and insightful.

Thank goodness that the FOS are under…
Thank goodness that the FOS are under scrutiny My MP tried to help but was fobbed off by Wylie Wayman and her, crew
Even when I contacted Mel Stride MP head of Financial Ombudsman Service review committee ran away saying the treasury committee had no control over the FOS even though onbudsman employees admitted to taking SOFT COMMISIONSfrom financial companies
I fact the ombudsman informed me he didn't have to take into account the evidence I had supplied of wrong doing of the financial Co as his decision was final and could not be overturned by any means I appealed to their review commissioner but was informed that she upheld the ombudsman's decision and that I had no right to dictate how the FOS came to its decisions
Look at THE FOS on Trust pilot and their employees reviews on Glassdoor
Consumers don't Stand a chance
Vile ill mannered staff that rely on Google to get details then concoct their own findings and the UK government can't intervene
I have waited over 2 years for a DSAR from these crooks
ETFs ?
I would like to performace tables to cover ETFs as well. In all other respects this publication is very helpful.
Informative and unbiased reporting
Fund Manager Review
As a Fund Manager, I am a long time reader of Investment Week which I find highly informative and look forward to reading every week.
Focus on news, not agendas
Would like to rate higher and changed rating from 2 to 3 as nice team to deal with. However, I just find recently it is becoming a bit too much like another version of the BBC with an increasingly virtue-signalling woke agenda that is getting quite off-putting. Surely it should focus on it's original intention which is investment news and content. Far too much is about ESG, race, diversity etc etc. Fine to have the odd section on this but I am sure a lot of readers get tired of having this rammed down their throats all the time.
Additionally, I'm not sure that scrapping Bull v Bear for the Deep Dive was a great idea. You now hear from the same old faces every week, the articles are much longer and not as easy to read and it is harder for the smaller outfits to get a look in. The best part is the fund performance tables at the back which are very useful.

Interesting articles and data
Interesting articles by a range of informed commentators.
Very useful detailed statistics of funds and trusts.
Good.,,but
Good. However the views and articles seem to come from the same firms all the time.
Seems to be a lot of airtime to the same forms.
Generally very helpful updates, but.....
Generally very helpful updates, but over the last 12 months far too much ESG and associated articles. It is unquestionable that it will become part of the mainstream investment processes in the long run, but at present it has been almost completely driven by investment providers firing out solutions with no regard to actual client needs/wants.
