I had a great time on my taylor made tour of Thailand. Everything worked. From guides to hotels and trips between cities. I managed to pack a lot into my 8 days in Thailand. It is a wonderful country with a most important asset. It's people and hospitality.

Knowledgeable, well connected staff, who really listen to their clients needs. An amazing range of places to visit, the real inside track. Highly recommended

Thailand adventure. I booked a 3-week tour with Inside Asia Tours. It was a multisite tour which also included a 3 night homestay trek in the north. The trip was therefore logistics-heavy and took a lot of planning. This was undertaken by the team at InsideAsia and not once did the supply chain fail to deliver what was promised. From start to finish the communication was first class, the hotels and accommodation were of a high quality and the transfers seamless. The tour was fantastic, it was seamless, and would highly recommend this travel company to organise your tour.

InsideAsia let us down on too many levels. Hotels were below our standard and when I raised questions before our trip I was assured they would change things. They did not organize our time well. They did not book our airplane seats so we had to sit apart for a 14 hour flight. They knew the trip was to celebrate a big occasion but did not think to give us any choices about hotels and if we wanted upgrades. Finally, we were not told our last pick up time and spent our last day in Tokyo trying to follow this up.

From receiving my quote to the easy online payment via their portal, everything was smooth and effortless. Aaron was very patience with my constant questions over the year and was very quick to reply. It was amazing having someone organise all my transfers across Japan, and having a local representative an email/call-away was very reassuring. Would recommend and definitely use again.

This was our second time co-planning a trip with IA- Japan in 2016 and now Vietnam. It was a great experience all the way- from
smooth planning to fantastic experiences. I definitely recommend them, especially if you are an independent traveler and don’t want a totally pre-packaged tour. Their support is

Great hotel and location. The tour was good by a local guide but felt rushed and a final evening sampling local food that was like eating out with friends! Almost felt like a companion.
Underground easy, inexpensive and efficient. Drinking alcohol is expensive. Hawker centres amazing. Quality, inexpensive food and supporting local community. A fabulous, hot country

We have made two trips with InsideAsia and both have been excellent.

Our travel consultants (Sam B and Ben G) were extremely helpful in building out a customised itinerary - taking into account our interests and budget - and they are very well informed (they have recent and direct personal experience of the destinations they're booking for). When things change - they're on top of the situation quickly and keep you informed. They took the stress out of the unfamiliar ways of organising travel and accommodation, and let us focus on the fun stuff.

Both our trips came with a detailed info pack which was clear and instructive of our exact itinerary, as well as helpful notes to make the best of our trip. Our trips made a good balance of guided and independent exploration, which was perfect for us. The info packs not only gave us a list of places to see and things to do, but a bit of context on how things work in that culture (like using public transport, expectations when eating out, making payments, and general etiquette) which we found super valuable.

We also appreciate their commitment to improving sustainability of tourism and ethical standards - it helps us enjoy our trips more knowing that we're doing what we can to address these issues.

I travelled solo through Vietnam in the spring of this year. InsideAsia discussed my itinerary with me in detail, tailoring it to my interests, and made sure I was happy with the proposal. The hotels I stayed in were all comfortable and friendly, and all in good locations. Tour guides were good company and recommendations were well thought out! I had a fascinating trip and would happily recommend InsideAsia to anyone wanting to travel to Vietnam, or to any of the other countries they cover. I've also been with Japan with them and that was wonderful!

We went with InsideAsia when we wanted a trip to Singapore and Malaysia to celebrate our wedding anniversary. We usually organise our own travel and holidays but on this occasion wanted to take advantage of expert knowledge as to where to go and what to see, and also to know others would be taking care of all the arrangements. It was a wonderful holiday, with an excellent choice of hotels and guides in each city, as well as a stay in the rain forest. All the arrangements worked well and we have so many happy memories. We would definitely consider using InsideAsia for a future trip.

I asked Aaron at InsideAsia to build a tour of Thailand for my son and I have to say that he did an excellent job, way above my expectations. We experienced from busy Bangkok, scenic Khao sok national park, peaceful Krabi and vibrant Phuket.
Every transfer was flawless, every tour staffed by interesting knowledgeable local people and the hotel choice was perfect.

InsideAsia (and its sister company InsideJapan) helped us plan the perfect belated honeymoon across Asia! We visited Singapore, Thailand, South Korea, and Japan over the span of three weeks this spring, and we cannot be more grateful for the help that Grant E. and Jen G. provided leading up to our trip (THANK YOU!). They took into account our budget and interests, and planned an itinerary that suited our personalities and was a great mix of exploration and relaxation. All of the accommodations were excellent, and the private tour guides they connected us to in each city were phenomenal. Even when we had a few last-minute questions or requests, the travel agencies InsideAsia partners with to provide in-country support were easy to communicate with and very helpful as well. It is clear that InsideAsia has strong connections to its partners, which allowed us access to experiences that the average traveler would not have (such as a tea ceremony with a maiko). We had so much fun on our trip, and cannot wait to go back someday!

South Korea - great trip well organised

It is rare to say, 'I recommend unreservedly' but in the case of InsideAsia, I do (and have travelled with them on more than one occasion). The environmental ethos, the consideration for tourism that gives back to the local economies and of course, the awesome travel experiences. My most recent trip was to Vietnam, as a solo traveller. I went from North to South, was able to engage with places and their people, stayed in wonderful hotels, each with a different character, and had so many adventures. I kayaked, climbed little mountains, swam and walked for hours every day (my choice). The vegan food choices were excellent, the stimulus, from political history through general culture, was rich and the arrangements were impeccable. Special shout out to my travel agent for this one, Liam Koehler.
