Re-celling of my aged eBike battery has transformed its performance (and mine too :-) The battery was over 7 years old and was losing power / cutting off on long rides. I called Jimmy and he gave me a long, detailed description of the work they would do. He said they could improve battery performance from 10Ah to 13.4Ah. I then had update emails from Cem (Jimmy's son) and the battery was returned very quickly after paying by bank transfer. The old cells were returned as "proof of change". The cost was very reasonable, including carriage both ways in the price. I only had to pay after the job was completed. After top-up charging, I managed a 30+ mile ride on full power-assist and the battery was still only partly discharged at the end of the ride. I am very pleased with the service and highly recommend eBike Batteries!

Great responsive communications by phone and e-mail. Excellent swift collection an return and good price for upgraded battery pack. The old cell pack was returned to confirm all new cells used.

I had an intermittent issue regarding charging that was extremely difficult to pinpoint, but Jimmy was able to resolve after trying lots of things for me. I was very impressed with their communication throughout the service and that they were willing to resolve the problem and not just give up easily, like some other companies would.

The eBike battery Tiger Shark from this company powered my bicycle on a ride from Cricklewood to Hackney and back on a single charge on 13 Nov 2023. This included the hill over Hampstead in both directions.

After a fiasco with an e-bike I bought from a seller on Amazon, I needed a new battery, as the one I had didn't work. Unable to find a new one, I contacted these guys about a replacement. It cost about half the price of the bike, but it was worth it in the end.
The replacement was done quickly, and it has been spot-on since (a few months now).
The only, small, thing I'd say is I didn't get a notification it was coming back until it arrived! (Which was sooner than I expected).
Anyway, no issues. Can recommend.

What a difference a couple of weeks make cem/Jimmy at ebike batteries recelled my gtech battery which had become unreliable after a few years use.they recelled using superior batteries which has increased the capacity by at least 20%.from start to finish I was kept informed by email of my battery's progress ,no payment was required until completion, payment Inc.courier pick up & return. I'm highly impressed & satisfied with cem/Jimmy's service at ebikebatteries,I thoroughly recommend them so much so I intend getting my other gtech battery recelled soon .Ken C

Great service provided by Jimmy and his team for my wife's ageing bike battery (7 years old and which had lost performance). Sent off old battery to Jimmy and it was received and refurbished very quickly, including bench testing. An efficient job carried out using up-to-date technology and years of expert knowledge and experience.

Very good communication by all in the team. I fitted the refurbished battery on the day it arrived back with me and then charged it up fully before testing out. The bike (Pro-Rider E-Tourer) performance was significantly improved back to as it was new 7 years ago.

It went very well indeed and my wife has now been using it (nearly 3 weeks) almost every day since, taking her 8 miles to work and back each way every working day, including negotiating two steep hills. She has said that, out of 10, she'd rate the bike improvement in performance as 10 since the refurbished battery was fitted. Well done Ebikebatteries!

The whole team at ebike batteries were superb from start to finish. They made me a custom triangle battery to fit a dual suspension bike. I opened it up when I received it to find nothing but great work using quality materials. I'm over 1500 miles on that battery at point of writing and it still goes as if it were new. I was that impressed I have asked them to do me a new high power, high capacity battery for my next project. The cells are still yet to arrive but when they do I know the battery will be made to the highest standards. I highly recommend, 5 stars *****

A wonderful service from beginning to end. I contacted Jimmy and his son with 3 old batteries on old bikes I had inherited and that had been stuck in a shed for a few years. Wasn’t sure I could get any of them going again. Not only are all 3 bikes going like the flappers now but the batteries run for much longer than I am ever experienced or than I expected.

Pricing was very fair and competitive particularly for the quality of the recelling. When I had issues with a really ancient smarta bike (after the battery was fixed)the myriad range of problems were diagnosed and fixed quickly and the bike is sailing up hills. It’s fantastic to be able to give old bikes a new lease of life.

In addition to the level of expertise this is a company that takes real pride and interest in what they do. It’s a real pleasure to meet such lovely passionate people who really care and who are so courteous and helpful. Not so many small family businesses left like this - people who are expert and also have such values. Every point was explained with real clarity and I know how to look after my bikes moving forward. Jimmy and his son are gentlemen.

I am absolutely delighted with the upgraded battery. Previously (9Ah) I managed about 25 miles but this one gives me 40 miles cycling! I was very impressed with your customer service from arranging collection and delivery of the battery and keeping me informed of progress.

I was unable to buy a replacement battery for my bike so without this service I would have had to replace my entire bike.

The re-cell of my battery was done very promptly and well. However, my battery pack then developed further problems, which were to prove particularly difficult to solve due to lack of information from the manufacturer. However, solve it he did, and it is a measure of Jimmy that he didn't just give up - rather, he used his expertise to get it sorted. If you need your battery fixed, Jimmy is the man.

Just to let you know the battery you built for me is superb! Not only has it solved the issue of ‘cutting out’, it now pulls up hills even in a high gear .The range is much improved yesterday I cycled around 20 K and when I returned the indicator was still showing I had 79% charge left in the battery.

Extremely pleased with the service and advice I received from this company, and Jimmy in particular. He was very knowledgeable, patient and explained everything very clearly to me numerous times as I have no knowledge on the subject of re-celling batteries.
