Dealt with Martin for 2 kitchens now. The experience couldn't be better.
Very professional and attentive to our needs. We are so happy with everything. He was in touch with out fitter to make sure everything ran smoothly.

Ignore the bad reviews on here. Some people just like to moan 🙄.

When we came to fit our kitchen it was apparent the design was incorrect. We asked for a housing for two single ovens and whilst we acknowledge the plan showed an oven and microwave we were advised this was for illustration only. Unfortunately it transpired we got the smaller housing and as a result have had to spend an additional £175 to rectify their original mistake. This whole process from start to end has been an overwhelming disappointment

Anthony has just designed our kitchen/utility - he listened to our needs and came up with with some great suggestions which we are going with! Friendly and welcoming- wouldn’t hesitate to recommend him!

For the last 6 months we have been dealing with Howden's at Goole for help with planning a sizeable new kitchen, also a new pantry, laundry room and boot room. The service from the team there is excellent. Antony has been particularly helpful with the design, giving all sorts of ideas and tips, but he has also followed up several times to check that we are happy with everything. The supply is very quick - usually delivered within a week. We are just about to order the final bit now but can't thank them enough!

This is the first time for us purchasing a kitchen and from the service and experience we received, I don't think we'd use anyone else in the future. Thanks to Martin the whole experience was easy, simple and flowed well from start to finish. Martin was tentative to our needs and helped design our kitchen to it's full potential including every little detail we wanted to incorporate. Fantastic all round! :)

We purchased our kitchen at the goole branch and received a quality service from our designer Martin Wilson. Nothing was a hassle when we made changes or rearrangements to the plans. He was very attentive and knowledgeable. The delivery was spot and well communicated.
Would recommend this company every time.

Good range of materials and stock

Just had our kitchen installed. Very happy with the excellent service from the beginning to end. Staff very helpful, friendly and knowledgeable on their products. They go the extra mile to ensure the customer is happy with their range of kitchens and appliances. 10 out of 10 from me. Thank you.

Well kept premises, always welcoming and accomodating. Sorted a problem out for me recently, in a smooth, well informed and pleasant manner. Also using the Bradford outlet for recent purchases of internal fire doors and ironmongery.
Would recommend Howdens to anyone.

When the kitchen arrived it was apparent that a lot of the order was wrong. This stopped the progression of the install on day 1. To correct the order the joiners made 3 journeys to the Goole branch on the first day to try and continue with the install. Then they realised that most of the delivery was different to what was ordered. I could list everything but in simple terms the carcasses and appliances were correct. Most other things were incorrect. Some examples are:
• Fridge is a 50/50 the door that came was 70/30
• Wrong colour doors
• Then when the new ones arrived, they were gloss not matt
• End panel to island wrong – had to join looks unsightly
• Corner moldings wrong colour
• No cutlery draw
• No led lights
• Finishing caps for doors missing
• Depth of wall cupboard impractical on design
• Stainless steel bottom trim for oven missing (Howdens believe its OK to see the carcasses, which is completely different colour under the oven?) Still not corrected.
• Noisy extractor fan
Cost of kitchen = £10,000 without intall!

An extra day’s labour was needed to complete the kitchen. The joiners came back at the weekend to complete. The extractor fan was not working correctly. It was extremely noisy, so much so that you can not use and have a conversation. It makes no difference what speed it runs at; they all make the same loud noise with no extraction notable either. This eventually was replaced.
Also the finishing caps that cover the holes in the insides of the doors. These have been asked for many times, both through me and the joiners. It has taken several calls to receive these.
Another point that I find concerning is after I voiced my dissatisfaction with sales person who dealt with us, I specifically asked for a call from his manager to discuss my complaint. I made it clear I did not want to have call and chase myself. I did not received a call. I had to write an email to complain. This prompted several conversations with Katie the manager. I wanted to be compensated for the extra costs for the install due to Howdens numerous mistakes. This came to hundreds of pounds for 2 joiners to finish the job on a weekend. All I was offered was the delivery fee. I refused this and asked for her area manager to contact me. 2 months later I am still waiting, no-one has contacted me which I think is very disappointing and shows a complete lack of accountabilty and how important their customer experience is to them. I am now seeking advice to recover my financial loss through court. My advice is go elsewhere.

When I placed this review on Google, Howdens responded asking for for details. This I gave and received this reply-

Didn't even try to resolve! They have had plenty of chances to make this right but have chosen not to.

You make your own mind up where to spend your money. This is my experience.
