Simple transaction quickly became a hassle
I needed a small part for my friend's Honda. I ordered it from Honda Parts Connection and quickly regretted that decision. After the order I got a message saying the order was on hold because I didn't supply the vehicle's VIN (which I didn't have). So I immediately sent an e-mail back saying to cancel the order as I didn't want to wait and would find the part somewhere else. No one ever responded. So days later I sent another e-mail, again asking them to cancel the order and issue a refund (oh yes, naturally they charged my credit card despite telling me the order could not proceed). No one responded to the second message. Then the next day I get an e-mail saying the order is "in progress". Tried calling and got voicemail. And I have zero confidence that anyone will call back.
These guys seem to know hot to take your money. But their customer service is non-existent. They simply do not communicate with their customers, which is a horrible way to do business. Avoid these guys unless you want a is,ple transaction to turn into a hassle because they can't be bothered to help.
