Waste of Time

Called them because I found a good deal on their website for £567 per person, it was actually £695 per person. I didn't have anything extra- no transfers or luggage. They said it was because the cheaper room was booked out. I looked on the hotel website, there is no cheaper room.

I then asked about another deal of £470 per person also advertised on their website. He said he could only do it for £630 per person- again, this was without any extras as well- nothing but the holiday. When I asked why this one was more expensive, he said it was because prices change through the day. I have been watching both of these deals over a few days and they only change by a few pounds- not this much! I checked this morning and guess what?! Prices are still advertised as the exact same price as when I called yesterday.

Don't even waste your time calling.

HDC, stop false advertising.

FALSE ADVERTISING don't waste your time ringing any holiday companies through this site the price is never the same as advertised and that's without hold luggage and transfers no optional extras completely wasted my time don't bother

I wish I'd checked their feedback online before calling them. I Called with a price from the website, all was well, all was booked. They then called us back 30 mins later to say that deal was a promotion that has just sold out, "but wait for it" we could have the same holiday for an extra £49 per person. We agreed on an extra £29 pp and that was that, or so I thought. Another 30 mins later, another call to say the holiday had now completely disappeared. We told them at that point to sling their hook. We then got told we would receive our money back the following Monday. A call to the bank will sort that out! Edit:They had my review removed because the title was offensive to them so I have happily amended it to reinstate the review.

Fake price and useless staff. We saw a deal for 270 gbp pp. We called and the real price was 750. We saw another one from 300 , and we called and it wasn’t available. Weekes after we called again for another deal of 270 and one of the flights was sold out, and they gave me an alternative for 850gbp! I told the adviser that took the call if there was any other option and he told me, rudely ´´ Are you ordering me??´´ he got angry at me. I asked him ´´where am I calling?´´ And he didn’t know what to reply… staid in silence for several seconds until he checked something and told me. Unbelieve, after 4 calls. Rate one because there is no 0, absolute waste of time, DO NOT BOOK HERE

I have used them 3 times now. If I go for a hol and they try to raise it too much I no thank you. Each time the price has been ammended and I have gitten a fab deal. Actually go away tomorrow through them. £398 all inclusive including transfers and luggage xxxx

I wanted to booked a holiday last year and the price was £200 + extra than advertised ..i said no ..then i got a call back saying this offer was available which was a great deal to be fair ..1 hr spent listening to eventual garbage..The clown on the end of the phone tried charging me £496 FOR 1 PERSON ..i just couldnt believe he didnt understand english ..it was for me and my gf ..He knew this ..but told me this holiday has now been booked for 1 person and would come out of my bank straight away ..i let rip on the phone ..His ears must have stung big time after the onslaught i gave him ..This site has provided us some good holidays but is a joke when helping out once youre in another country..went to benidorm at xmas in hotel cabana .99% spanish so we asked for a move ..They tried downgrading us from 3* to 2* ..eventually The manager of cabana came up and moved all us unhappy english to the sister hotel which was the Gran bali 4* ..great bloke doing the holiday discount centres job for them ..shame on you HDC ..will find it difficult to book with these clowns again ..

They hook up the customer for a low price and then raise it under the worked scheme.
I very much regret that I have not read the reviews about them before ordering a holiday.

This complaint is against Exclusive Trips rather than Holiday Discount centre but as Exclusive trips do not respond as well when things go wrong I will have to put it on here as I found the holiday through Holiday Discount Centre. We arrived at Alicante airport to find our transfer had not been booked and after the young man from Holiday Taxi's tried his best to find out what went wrong for 1 1/2 hours we decided to get 2 taxis into Benidorm as we had waited long enough, I had tried to contact Exclusive trips but didn't get anywhere and we had concerns that the hotel also hadn't been booked. The Taxi's cost £156.00 all together but Exclusive trips would not pay for the Taxi's only the transfer they hadn't booked, I explained that if the transfer had been in place and they had fulfilled their part of the contract we wouldn't have needed to get Taxi's at all but they would not give the full refund. I have had contact today to say they would give me £100 back and although not happy I have accepted as I felt I would not get any further with this complaint. We paid over £6000 for our 6 night stay although I must say it was a group of 6 adults and one child. I have used Holiday Discount Centre a several times over the past few years and actively promote them and not had any issues but do feel that this company has let them down and this experience will make me think twice about using them again.
This is a shame as we have had some terrific deals through Holiday Discount Centre.

Didn't book. Advertised at 1100 call them and suddenly rises to 1500 waste of time there basically just looking at all the real websites

Dont waste your time. Holiday advertised as £280 but was £365.

These are not honest seen a holiday for £622. Then they eay I had to pay a fee which took my holiday to a total of £685, and then tried to tell me the seats where not available for this flight and have to pay. Not happy at all

I just booked with these guys. I wouldn't slate them at this point as I haven't gone on the holiday yet. However, I do wish I'd either booked it myself or used a different site. The advertised holiday was €100 less per person than what I eventually paid. Initially they agreed a price which was already more than the advertised. Then they called back and it had gone up again. Seemed dodgy. I didn't like the fact that the price changed after agreeing for one price. I almost cancelled and then I thought that I probably wouldn't get cheaper elsewhere. I wish I had cancelled as I checked later myself by looking up the hotel and the airline separately and I would have actually got it cheaper.

Overall, they emailed me the details of the flight and hotel and it seems fine but I didn't like the way the price changed by phone.

Price doubles when you call the holiday providers - the quotes are no way near correct! waste of time and completely embarrassing for clients and holiday providers that are being advertised on holiday discount centre.

No matter who you telephone, the price is never what's advertised, absolute joke, some just outright lie to you others just say that deal has gone, even when you phone as they open and prices are of that day.. The site is nothing short of lacking. Its ridiculous that there is no policing of adverts.. The worse was deal of the day holidays, they phoned back want an extra 70 quid pp due to having to change airline, yet the flight times were exactly the same as booked. Report them to trading standards.

Ps: I've had trust pilot ask me to adjust my review. Seems the holiday discounts don't like it when you call them out "this is my own opinion as a user of their site"
