Having just read the very negative reviews by many others about Hazelvine I am wondering whether there is a rogue company with the same name that delivers such unacceptable service...
For me Nikki Honeywell working out of their Bristol property office has, over the past 4 years been very responsive to our needs as Leaseholders. Her service has been exemplary, responding quickly to and fixing issues concerning both tenants' health and safety and leaseholders management concerns.
Right now she is managing the subcontracted assessment of cladding to our blocks of flats, bidding for funds to offset the costs and keeping us all informed with a newsletter on her progress.
She always responds to my emails and her team give me no reason for anything other than compliment.

I had a problem with online account log in. The tech guys emailed me clear instructions and turns out if you use the correct email address it's all very simple! quick response very clear instructions - thanks
Do not contract with hazelvine
Do not contract with hazelvine. We are an ungated, small new development which was beautiful until hazelvine came along. They essentially keep your money as about a ninth of the money goes on the property and the rest lines the pockets of hazelvine. We have thankfully now ended our contract with them and cannot wait to not have to speak to them. It’s unfortunate there is no type of legislation or watchdog over how these companies charge for their non- existent work. It really is criminal.
Extremely poor value for money
We have been paying service charges for circa 20 years to this company and unfortunately I do not find them to be great value for money. Even worse I find their accounting to be very questionable and their communication appalling - they have recently moved to offering paperless statements yet the digital statement arrive inconsistently and in some cases do not arrive at all therefore giving them the opportunity to potentially charge customers a late payment fee. I have attempted to contact them on multiple channels and yet to have a response I feel like the responsibility to pay the service charges is equal - you provide an adequate statement and I will pay the bill, is that too much to ask?

I contacted hazelvine as I was having trouble accessing an online account. The response was prompt and friendly from Mark and he resolved my issue very quickly.
This is a total rip off company
This is a total rip off company. We are an estate of 104 houses paying Hazelvine a service charge yearly. We have had so many property managers, who never get back after sending emails, letters and phoning. They make fictitious headings for reserves and even when they should refund the money and delete the reserve, they charge for it again! It is impossible to contact anyone , and the turnover of staff is horrendous. They have around £20,000 of our money and keep putting the service charge up yearly.They do less than nothing for the yearly fee and should be accountable!

Dishonest and unprofessional
Hazelvine have to be the most incompetent, unprofessional and frankly very dishonest company I have come across in fifty years of my business experience.
It is no small wonder that they have so much cash at bank as shown in their annual accounts - a lot of this money is client (residents) money which they refuse to repay. Fun and games about to happen with legal proceedings being initiated

Unreasonable
Unreasonable, devious and seriously immoral. Recently received an overdue account notice regarding an invoice that I had not received. Paid immediately but they charged interest and refused to waive it blaming me for not chasing up an invoice that I did not know had even been issued or for how much. Previously have had to have months worth of correspondence to get bogus charges removed from my account where the MD has citied irrelevant legal spiel to justify the charges. The rot filters down from the top.

I knew the problems we were having with #CalaHomes, #Hazlevine and #QDime were not unique to our new housing development at Imber Riverside in Surrey, but I had no idea it was this bad!!
Held to ransom
We have been tied to Hazelvine having bought a new home from Cala. Hidden away in the initial paperwork was a requirement to pay the management fees with no ability to change provider
Payments are biannually with an adjustment for the year in the second payment once final costs for running the estate are known. In years one and two this adjustment was c5-10% of the management fee total which is fair.
In year 3 which has just passed however the adjustment was closer to 40%... we asked for an explanation before paying this and were told that our account would be put on hold whilst it was looked into.
3 months passed and despite follow up by email we heard nothing and then a late payment charge was applied to our account.
We called Hazelvine accounts, only to be told that they had no knowledge of the agreement to put the account on hold and were unable to speak to their own property managers and that we would have to ourselves... more time spent on the phone to be told that the charge was applied in error and would be removed.
Several weeks later we then received an email to say that the charge would be removed IF we paid our outstanding balance within 7 working days... and still no response on our questions
We feel that Hazelvine have held us to ransom giving us the option to pay either an inflated annual charge, or an inflated charge plus a penalty... without ever providing explanation or justification as to why the annual charge was so much higher.

.Someone in my parking space waiting months and still am for something to be done
. Lights flickering causing my husband to have a epileptic fit still nothing done
. Leak through my roof into a electrical wire and bathroom light still nothing done
Not sure what it takes with this company to do something have now reported the company so hopefully something will be done soon . The staff have very very poor communication skills and no manager would ever call back or are conveniently out of the office !!!!!!!!!
Poor Service
Poor ground maintenance, expensive fees that lack transparency. There doesn’t seem to be any governance over they conduct themselves and have homeowners over a barrel.
Controlling Monopoly
Overpriced. Underdeliver. Poor customers service. I have been tied into using this company by the housing development company. I should be allowed to choose. They reveal in the monopoly they have created. It feels corupt to me.
Poor service and excessive fees
We have been left to deal with This company that provides poor service and asking for unfair charges.
I have not recieved and invoice and the reminder letter as well, and charged with penalty fee. I contacted account manager right after the event, early Jan 2020, 8 months and still no resolving of the issue, not anyone picked the case yet :(
Checking the list items that they spend our money, I realised excessive post fees, so I’m paying for a service that I don’t get, plus extra charges.
They don’t share all charges and for unnecessary reason they go to any extent to put extra charges.
It’s such a shame that we’ve left to deal with this poor servicing company as Parklands community in Woodley, Reading.
Worst customer service
