My payments were not equalized
My payments were not equalized. For the first two years, the payment was manageable. After that my payments more than doubled which I cannot afford. I contacted Harris and Partners with my concerns several times. They advertise that you can pay off your debt without having to sell your home. This is simply not true. When I asked about my increased payments and my ability to pay, I was told to either sell my house or take equity from it. I would not recommend Harris and Partners.

I can’t go into the details of your file here because that information is confidential. To be frank, though, the payment schedule was set out in the proposal terms you reviewed and signed before it went to your creditors, including the step-up partway through. It wasn’t a change made on our end.
If your circumstances have changed and the current payment isn’t workable, there are options. Selling or refinancing your home isn’t the only path, and we can go through the alternatives with you properly.
