Ordered 2 x 12 dining set and set of 8…
Ordered 2 x 12 dining set and set of 8 mugs …… didn’t turn up and seems to have gone missing. Still waiting for my refund apparently takes up to 9 days for this
Re ordered before refund because I need them. One of the 12 piece dining set has a broken bowl. So they’ll pick up for free but wait for it….. refund again up to 9 days
So now I’m owed £175 and only have one set of dining items and no mugs

Although the product looks ok and was easy to put together, the screws that hold the shelves to the frame didn't bit into the wood so had to use no-nails to secure the shelves to the frame

Sofa so good
The whole process was easy, including setting up Argos Pay and direct debit for the 36m interest free credit. The delivery was excellent with the two guys bringing two sofas to the first floor. And the sofas themselves are fabulous.

Poor delivery communication but helpful customer service
The reason that the overall experience was mixed is because the order was a day late despite choosing a specific delivery date,there was no advance notification about the stock delay problem and I’ve had to contact them myself to find out what’s happened. On a positive note the advisor I spoke to was helpful and the delivery was out by the next day and I did receive a £5 goodwill gesture so I feel three stars is fair because it’s not a terrible service overall but definitely not the experience I thought I would have.

Missing & damaged chair leg feet!
It came incomplete - two feet were missing and four damaged on the chair legs. Spent a good deal of time on the chat possibly to a real person - could only suggest picking up the order to replace but as I was about to go away this wasn’t convenient and wouldn’t necessarily guarantee that it would be replaced by another set of chairs. I will now find rubber feet to attach - but there was no suggestion of paying for them or sourcing them - and at the last minute proposed a £5 voucher to be credited to my account - didn’t say which account Argos or Habitat (not sure I have either). During the ‘chat’ I was asked the same questions repeatedly. Not very satisfactory really.
