I purchased a 67 plate range rover…
I purchased a 67 plate range rover sport hse from this company, I paid £22500 which is a substantial amount, I purchased this vehicle on 11.11.2025, was advised when I purchased I had 3 months full warranty which I accepted, I have to have a reliable vehicle as i care for my 93 year's old mother, which I did tell gsg car's at time of purchase, on 6.1.26 engine management light came on code po234 ( turbo over boost ) I contacted gsg car's they first said the warranty was only 1 month which I disputed eventually they paid £450 for a new throttle body, while this went on I could not drive as could have damaged turbo even more, I had to borrow a car from a friend luckily, on 5.3.26 same code came up so for convenience and quickness I had a turbo control solenoid fitted at a cost to me of £354. On 23.4 26 exact same code, I was advised by garage that fitted control solenoid that if issue happened again it looked like it was going to be the turbo at a cost of anywhere between £3500 and £5000 my heart dropped at this, I contacted gsg cars Wolverhampton sending them a copy of consumer rights, I heard nothing for about 4 days then a WhatsApp message stating that I had went ahead and fixed car myself, that this could have caused more damage also without their permission to get car fixed they were not going to offer anymore assistance, I was disgusted total cop out I need a vehicle for my mother, as it stands now it luckily wasn't the turbo the whole system needed updating by a range rover specialist, It also needed both front bottom arm's and both front control arm's replacing, which I was advised should have been picked up when gsg car's had service and MOT done if it had been worth the paper the mot had been written on, now thankfully the car is now fit for purpose and safe, no thanks to gsg car's Wolverhampton, I am also £1500 out of pocket for a vehicle i have literally owned barely 6 months, SERIOUSLY BE WARNED, GSG CAR'S IN WOLVERHAMPTON STAY WELL AWAY, I'm lucky I just lost £1500 if it had been the turbo I would have been really stuck, thanks for reading ( TAKE NOTE ). Mr Andrew Hyden.
