Out of stock

Can’t really rate as the item I ordered was out of stock. I payed for it but then got an email saying it was out of stock. Why it was available to order when obviously none left 🤷‍♀️

Unfortunately there was an error on our system with regards to the quantity of the item which you ordered from us which meant that it was showing as in stock when it wasn't. As a company our EPOS team are working hard to ensure that this doesn't happen and this is definitely a priority for us going forward. The original voucher didn't arrive…

The original voucher didn't arrive although 70 quid was debited 2 days later. I was advised that this was at the time G Rigg had a new computer system. It wasn't great as my gift turned up late.

The voucher arrived 3 days before Christmas but I had already given up all hope by then and bought my daughter something else!

When I visit Rochdale we always usually go to GR but I feel very disappointed. Your staff are lovely though even though they cannot resolve issues. I wasn't able to quote an order number as I never had one. Your staff did manage to trace it on the previous system.

We are very sorry to hear that you had a negative experience when shopping with us online. We have recently had a new website developed which will make shopping with us online even easier for customers and is now linked to our EPOS system however when we moved over to the new site we did lose previous customer order details from the old site. When you placed an order with us we will still on the old site and your order was fulfilled straight away however by the time you got in touch with us to say that you had not received your order we had moved over to the new site and were no longer able to access your order details. Unfortunately we have no control over the delivery service once we have sent a voucher out via Royal Mail 1st class post. We did however manage to track down your original gift voucher on our EPOS system and re issued you with a new one straight away. We are disappointed to hear that the issue was not resolved to your complete satisfaction and would love to hear what we could have done better. If you could spare the time we would greatly appreciate further feedback if you could email us at sales@gordonrigg.com to let us know what we could have done better. We hope that this has not deterred you from shopping with us again in the future.

The vouchers are really useful as a gift, but order form needs clarifying.

The vouchers are really useful as a gift to my friend in Walsden. Unfortunately, I was rather confused on the order form where to add her address for delivery. I did add these details and explain in an 'other comments box, but put my own address as the person paying. This meant that I had to post the voucher on after if reached my house and she only just got it in time. Could this service be clarified on the order form, please?

We are sorry to hear that you had difficulty when placing an order with us online. At the checkout stage it asks for billing details, just under this section there is a box that can be ticked which says deliver to a different address. Once this box is ticked you can then enter a second address. This then provides us with the delivery address so we can send the order to the desired location. We come for a day out often

We come for a day out often, we came a fortnight ago my sister brought some star for her Christmas window and they look great, so I was sending for some for myself and her daughter wanted some as well so I ended ordering 2 lots.they came within about 4days and now look great in my window.

Use click and collect. Smooth process and lovely staff on arrival. Young gentleman also offered to carry my tree to my car

First visit

Visited your store today and really enjoyed the experience. Beautiful store-very festive. Unfortunately the one thing that spoiled my experience was going to pay for my items. The girl on the till was not welcoming at all. No dialect - no offer of wrapping the Christmas tree baubles ….found her quite rude I’m afraid. Perhaps retraining in customer service would be useful.

Easy online ordering & speedy delivery.

Easy online ordering & speedy delivery.
The website said delivery would be within 7 working days depending on volume of calls to be made .
Although I gave instruction to leave the delivery on the drive
It would have been better had we recieved a text message on the day with an approximate time as the car may have been blocked in.
Great service though & a great garden centre.
Lovely food too.
