They ARE indeed SCUMBAGS. They STEAL MONEY FROM WORKING PEOPLE and In My Case VETERANS! STAY AWAY FROM THESE CROOKED BASTARDS!!!
"Hot Deals" are a trap. The special deals are non-refundable and can only be canceled in exchange for credit that must be used on future "Hot Deals." This is not clearly advertised and has led to many customer complaints.
Poor customer service. Users on platforms like Trustpilot, Reddit, and GolfWRX report extreme difficulty getting in contact with customer service. The service is often described as unresponsive or unhelpful when issues like weather cancellations arise.
Predatory cancellation policy. For a standard booking, if you need to cancel a tee time, you don't get a monetary refund; you receive GolfNow credit. This practice is frustrating for many users.

Terrible Golf Service, Disservice to golfers

Golf Now is a terrible service which can easily be corrected if the creator of their website provided the proper web page tools to cancel a tee time within the allotted time allowed. And I hear from many golfers and workers at the courses that Golf Now makes it hard to cancel, and that only means they want to try to keep your money. Bad people.. Do Not Use.

Don’t even bother with this terrible…

Don’t even bother with this terrible website. Booked a tee time that I was charged for and eventually refunded. Tee time popped up as an online rate so I booked it. Random error message came up after I booked and paid for it, checked my card and was charged. Called the course and they didn’t have the reservation but the tee time was still open. Online rate was no longer available. Tried calling support and you just get a call center in India with whom the person literally hung up on me. Save yourself the headache.

Golf never

I would give them zero stars if possible. They make it so difficult to actually use a gift card. I do not know why anyone would buy a gift card through them - it is a total waste of money.

By far the worst golf booking service…

By far the worst golf booking service I’ve ever used. Trying to cancel a tee time is a nightmare—impossible to reach any form of customer service. The complete lack of support makes this platform frustrating, unreliable, and absolutely not worth using.

Hot Deals not being awarded

Went to select a Hot Deal that shows available. Upon submitting for it a pop up came on saying "not available" even though it hit my credit card. Charge eventually went away but the Hot Deal was not awarded to anyone. Appeared again for same date/time, tried again with same results. Reported issue to customer service and nothing done about it. This has happened multiple times recently.

Their site populated the incorrect date…

Their site populated the incorrect date (Monday rather than Saturday, I changed it twice to the correct date and the system booked it incorrectly) while booking a tee time. I called about the error immediately and they wouldn't refund me the $5. I talked to 3 different people and they all said the same thing. Sounds like a call center out of the states that handle things and they are all useless. The worst customer service I have ever experienced. Im going to have to have the credit card company deal with it. I had used golf now for a decade previously, and will never use them again - all over $5. Terrible, terrible, terrrrrrible.

GOLF NOW is a RIPOFF

Instead of contacting the golf course, Gunter's Landing, directly, I thought I would get a better rate through Golf Now as I have used them many times. So I only called Golf Now, made a tee time for two, and was charged $98 EACH. When I got to the course, in Alabama (we live in Georgia), I found we would have paid only $50 each. What a ripoff! NO MORE GOLF NOW FOR US!

Terrible Policy - no refunds

I was in Florida and booked golf for my group of 6 friends. One of the tee times was a "Hot Deal" and i booked it with another tee time. When i cancelled (within a day) to my surprise i was not given a refund but was given a credit, ONLY for use on hot deals which are VERY limited. And i live in Canada, so i could not find any way to use the credit until i had a nauseating experience with online support and phone support who had to convert the credit to Canadian dollars. This has been a terrible experience and I suggest people reconsider using this site. The policies are unfair. Book direct with the courses, they don't keep your money.

Poor refund policy

Poor refund policy. They will only offer you a credit for 6 months that can only be used on very limited supply “hot deals”. Customer service did not have any options to help. I will never use this company again.
Update: I still have not received an email from Kelsey or GolfNow 48 hours after her reply regarding my requested refund or Trustpilot review.

I’ve always liked GolfNow

I’ve always liked GolfNow, but this time was frustrating as I wasn’t allowed to use my own gift card credits to pay for a tee time. I paid the amount + booking fees which were more than it would have been booking directly with the course, which defeats the object of using GolfNow!

Stay Away from GolfNow

You're better off using Golfnow as a reference and booking through the actual golf course website or calling the pro shop. Several times Golfnow's website has been finnicky and I end up booking a tee time for the wrong date. Their 24 hour no refund policy is a way to legally scam their customers. I have cancelled a tee time within minutes after booking because I realized it's for the wrong date, but nope... no refund for me. That's hundreds of dollars thrown in the furnace. The cherry on top is when I try to contact their customer support, they are non-existent. If you call their number, it is a damn near useless AI assistant. And my emails seem to never get a response. Golfnow has become mainstream and they don't need to improve their services to receive more customers. Somebody needs to create a rival business that doesn't scam their customers and take Golfnow out the picture.

Cheaper on the courses web site most times.

Decent amount of courses to pick from. But most times you're better off booking on the courses web site. I've noticed golfnow charges higher prices then the actual course. Which doesn't make sense, considering golfnow is supposed to be a place to find deals.

Prices are Ridiculous

I went on the site to view on where to play a four ball. I'm astounded that prices are way above what they used to be. There used to be deals on Bathgate and Pumpherston Golf Course for circa £20, it is now £40 only £5 less than their normal green fees. Dalmahoy is advertised at £68 yet you can book a tee time 8 minutes later than the offer for £40 - Greedy Golf Now !!! Greedy !

DO NOT USE GolfNow - Their cancellation policy is awful - Especially when you prepay.

Their business model is based on taking fees rather than providing a great experience for the golfer and the golf course.
