Bad customer support for a small family owned business ...
They are a small family business according to their website. There website has some bugs, and the back-end processing was flawed. I called customer support and they were arrogant and refused to help or offer any alternative solutions. The customer support person (10 January, 2019) was arrogant and said he didn´t want to bother with a new customer and and order of only $270. I guess he didn´t want me to spend over a grand on clubs and other golf equipment at his store:) I can buy the same merchandise locally or online at Amazon, TGW.com, dickssportinggoods.com, and even Walmart.com. Why bother with a store that doesn´t have customer service (except on the story line on their website).
I´m not the only one. Look at the other reviews. There´s no reason for a retailer to provide such a bad level of customer support. I´m not looking at their website, except to price match. If they change owners and management and staff, I would consider them.
Too bad, I always like to do business with small, family owned shops.

I’m a beginning golfer for three years. Have used Golf Etail for my new ladies clubs, bag and shoes. Web site has many options even for beginners. It’seasy to use with multiple choices. Even used them for golf balls. Deliveries always timely.
Quality obvious.
I’ve seen retailers come and go during my 50 + years as a golfer. Golf Etail has always delivered as asked. Web site is organized with many options as to size, color and brands. Delivery always as promised with advice provided. I will recommend.
You're nuts to buy from them!!
Received wrong pair of slacks. Called them - was told to send picture. I did so. No response. Called again was told to send again with picture in attachment. Did that. I have never been contacted by email or phone. This has been over the last month. I guess i have to chalk it up to experience and eat the loss. If you do business with this company- YOU'RE NUTS!!!

Horrible experience
I ordered a golf rain suit and it arrived MANY days after I ordered it. But it was beautiful and I initially thought it was worth the long wait. But when I tried it on it was too small so I contacted the company to see about an exchange. I was told I had to return the initial purchase and buy a larger size. So I bought the larger size, but when I tried to return the first purchase that was too small the company ceased all communication with me. I plead for a week with the company to send me a return shipping label, as it was free returns on this item. To no avail. At one point the company said it had not received any information about me having filed a return request, even though eBay had the return request in the system for more than a week and ebay had emailed the company on my behalf to get them to send me a return shipping label. EBay has said it will step in to make this transaction right, since the company refuses to do so. Thank goodness I purchased my product on eBay and not directly from golfetail.com. i would suggest shoppers steer clear of this company. To outright lie and say you have no record of my return request when there is a long email chain of me begging for a return and a record on eBay where I filed a return request a week ago and even after eBay reps emailed you asking you to send me a return label, you still refuse to do so. That's scary bad customer service. I've never had to leave a review such as this before for a company but my experience has been such that I cannot allow anyone else to get entangled in such a horrible company.

Ordered a cotton t-shirt. (This was the TAYLORMADE tee shirt - NOT the Greg Norman)
Ordered a cotton t-shirt - got a cheap polyester made in Mexico one. Shirt is so cheap you can see through it, and it feels awful.
There return policy is a joke! They charge you $10.00 for shipping to you plus you have to pay to return - you end up paying $14-20 to return.
Will not order again from these people.

Ordered a bag through eBay
Ordered a bag through eBay. Listing said that they'd ship anywhere in the world. Next morning I get an email saying they'd cancelled my order because my address was unconfirmed. It has been for more than 15 years. Now they say that they would ship that bag to South Africa but not Alaska or Hawaii. NOWHERE in their listing does it say that. Nobody in their organization has the courtesy to phone me. Low down and deceitful!

NO ONE should ever buy anything from this online retailer...EVER !!!
Ordered a #3 fairway wood and they sent me a #4 fairway wood..
Wanted to send it back for the right club....now comes the stalling and more stalling finally they say yes but I have to pay the return postage.
Because they were stupid and to inept at their job I have to now pay the postage. Hire someone with an education above third grade who can read numbers....#3 and #4.....
Anyway....still waiting for my refund....stalling and more stalling...!!!!

See Golfetail....if you had just read my emails and gave me my refund you wouldn't have had to go through the humiliation and embarrassment of Overstock TELLING YOU to change your listing. The Worst Customer Service In the World!!!!!
Ordered 12 shirts, 9 were as ordered but 3 were not at all what we ordered (men's shirt instead of ladies, junk shirt that was obviously returned as it was so small and then put in a dirty, old, reused and wrong package bag, and one that was so poorly made my wife's arms could not fit through the sleeves). Items arrived a day before we went on a 16 day trip. I contacted Golfetail and explained that I wanted an immediate refund of the price of the three shirts and I would send them back as soon as it sent me a paid return shipping label and I returned from my trip. Then for the next 16 days I got nonsense replies from Golfetail. In the last day or two a new CSR has sent me insulting, bullying and belittling replies. I finally filed a dispute with the credit card company. Golfetail's CEO has a statement of promise to its customers but its CSR's obviously are not familiar with it. It is too bad because we have had good items from it on several previous purchases but its customer service is without a doubt the worst I have ever experienced. We will never do business with it again and advise all to stay clear. Their CSRs have tried to bully and belittle me and told me it was being courteous to send me a return shipping label for items that were not what we ordered. They are by far the worst company with which I have had the mistake of dealing.
Saw the reply by Golfetail. It avoided most of the truth about the facts. It sent wrong items. It cannot keep funds when it does not fulfill purchase order. I advised I received order on the day before leaving on vacation and it did not respond until we were gone for two days. I returned junk items it sent immediately upon our return from vacation. In fact, I sent tracking information to Golfetail showing the return was processed by FedEx a day before it replied to this post, again lying about the facts. It is pretty clear that there is a reason it has a 62% bad rating. It's customer service is a leading candidate for the world's worst.

No issues here! Website consistently offers great deals on products for any type of golfer. Surprised to find such a wide variety of items that may be used in and off the golf course. Discriminates against buyers from Florida
This company changed the terms of my sale when they saw the Florida mailing address and my surname, they claimed that their system cancelled the order onlly 2 days after I placed and paid for my order the system allowed me to complete the transaction.
The person I spoke to at this company claimed that this was done automatically by their system and that they would not air ship and would only take PayPal verified payments for orders to Florida this is not stated on their website or their listing - Florida residents should not do business with this company.

After ordering, it took 2 weeks for it to arrive. I figured it might have been a fluke so I was going to make another purchase but when going to the site, it kept showing me that my information might not be private so needless to say I didn't make a purchase. I've never seen anything like that.

Beware of doing business with …
Beware of doing business with GolfEtail.com. Company does not stand behind product. Company advertises hassle free returns, nothing could be further from the truth. I bought a pair of boat shoes, ordered my size, 12m. The shoes they sent me were labeled size 12, but were so small I could not get them on my feet to try on. They might have been a size 8 at best. Cost of Postage to return was almost as much as the shoes. So I called customer support. They would not do anything without me sending the shoes back, at my own cost, and then had the nerve to offer to sell me another pair of the shoes, a size larger. Really???? Are you kidding me????? I am supposed to guess at my shoe size??? Be responsible for you mistakes and do right by the customer. I strongly recommend you shop elsewhere.

i order a set of golf shoes & they said the size was 10.5 (wide) & i new i needed a wide shoe so i order them the box said wide 2e on them had i new they were only 2e i would not have ordered them so i sent them back they cost me 52.99 & they would charge me a resocking fee of 7.95 unless i ordered the size XW(4E but i never could fiind them anywhere to order them so i sent them back got charge the 7.95 and had to pay the shipping back that came to 9.74 and they never even would answer me back so i ask ebay to step in & they won't do any thingas i sent them back & close case so I am very disappointed in golfetail & ebay

Purchased set of clubs, didnt like them, clubs returned and my account was credited half of what was paid. I did hit 2 clubs at range so fine print says they now are used. Will never shop there again.

well, I made the mistake of ordering my second item ever and both experiences have been terrible. Bad, cheap products that they ship. Returning the item costs quite a bit so you're stuck with it. I will NEVER order anything from this outfit again.
