Our travel agent was great
Our travel agent was great. She suggested we phone Go e our medical info. Alex was very helpful - and I was probably overzealous in explanations, which meant you charged us about $1,100 more, making for two, about $3,500 for a month and whilst I understand your concerns, it did leave me smarting.
The proof, of course, is if we actually need you when we travel - hopefully not as we are both healthy and active. Of course we cannot comment on that now.

We had to cancel a trip to Africa…
We had to cancel a trip to Africa shortly before departure due to illness. We submitted our claim on the Monday, and on the Tuesday, we were contacted by Sam at Go Insurance who stated our claim was approved and the money was in our account by the Friday. That is exceptional service!
Our travel agent recommended Go Insurance and we know why. We highly recommend this travel insurance company and their consultant, Sam.

Given, I had enquired & received a quote some months ago, I was pleasantly surprise to receive the current quote after updating my information. However, when I did the same for my husband the quote almost doubled. Why?

Thanks Cheryl. A near-doubling with no obvious reason is a fair thing to question, so here's the general picture.
Premiums are worked out for each traveller individually rather than per trip, and the two biggest drivers are age and medical history.
That means two people on the same trip can land on quite different premiums, sometimes by a wide margin. We can't go into personal details here, but if you call the team on 1300 819 888 they'll talk you through exactly what sits behind your husband's quote.

Wow- fast and totally reasonable claims process !!!
I was just 4–5 days away from flying to the Kokoda Track with my 14-year-old daughter when cellulitis—and then an adverse reaction to the antibiotic—forced a last-minute cancellation.
To be honest, I expected the claims process to be painful, complicated, and drawn out.
Instead, it was the complete opposite. The process was simple, stress-free, and finalised within a week.
While we were obviously disappointed to miss the trip, we’re already planning to walk Kokoda later this year—and we will absolutely be using Go Insurance again.

Applying for a policy was simple and changing the coverage period was easy to do.
Applying for a policy was simple and acknowledging our minor (and largely historical) health issues was easy. When we had to extend the duration of the policy by a couple of days because of flight changes associated with the war in the Middle East it wasn't an issue for them. There wasn't even a premium increase for the extra couple of days coverage.
