Disappointing Customer service and unresolved refund request
I am disappointed with my experience with Global ADHD Network and the way my refund request has been handled.
During the sales process, Goolam reassured me that I could cancel the course within 14 days if I wished to do so. I relied on this reassurance when making my decision.
During the booking process, I informed Goolam verbally and on what’s up message that I needed to check my work schedule before confirming my availability for the course. I agreed that the company could provisionally book me onto the course dates of 15 and 16 October 2026 while I checked my schedule. My understanding was that the booking was provisional and that I had not yet finally confirmed my attendance.
I subsequently requested a refund within 14 days of making my payment on 5 October 2026.
On Monday 12 October, I telephoned the company and spoke to Goolam. He reassured me that I would receive an email regarding my refund because I had cancelled within the 14-day period.
I called again on Tuesday 13 October and Thursday 15 October and spoke to Shanisa. On both occasions, she gave me similar reassurance regarding my refund. However, when I asked her to send written confirmation by email, she did not provide it
I was therefore concerned when I received a phone call on 15/10/2026 from staff member named Hamad saying that I should have cancelled six weeks in advance. I would like the company to clarify how this six-week requirement applied to my circumstances, when it was communicated to me, and how it was reconciled with the provisional nature of my booking.
Despite trying to resolve the matter directly, my refund request remains disputed.
I was particularly concerned by an email from the Programme Director stating that the company would not refund me until I removed my Trustpilot review.
I do not believe it is fair to make the resolution of a refund dispute conditional on removing a review describing my experience.
My review reflects my personal experience and my genuine attempts to resolve this matter directly with the company. I am disappointed by the way my refund request has been handled, particularly given the assurances I received during the sales process and in subsequent telephone conversations.
I am providing these details honestly and in good faith to help other prospective customers make informed decisions. I can provide supporting correspondence, including emails concerning my provisional booking, my refund request and the company’s response regarding my Trustpilot review.

We disagree with this review and do not believe it fairly reflects our repeated efforts to resolve the matter.
A course place was reserved for this professional, and paid resources and booklets were purchased and dispatched to their home. Our booking terms state that courses are non-refundable. As courses are often fully booked, sufficient cancellation notice is needed to offer places to other delegates and manage resources already committed.
We offered this customer alternative course dates or credit towards another course in good faith. We respect customers’ right to share feedback, although we were disappointed by the tone of the exchanges and felt pressured by references to a negative review.
We remain open to resolving the matter respectfully through direct correspondence.

The course was not well organized
The course was not well organized, with breaks taken a very odd times - morning break was late and then lunch was not long after return from the break. the communication around how long breaks were was also inconsistent - told 45 minutes for lunch, sign on screen said 30 minutes etc. The morning introductions was also very long and not organised - it would have been more efficient and effective to have people state in chat what their role was, where they work and how much experience they have.
Section around what was needed for children's assessment felt like it was rushed at the end of the day, where other areas had too long such as 2nd breakout room for symptoms.

Our ADHD assessment and diagnosis training is delivered live rather than as a pre-recorded course. One of the key benefits of live training is the opportunity for delegates to ask questions, participate in discussions and explore clinical topics in greater depth with our trainers.
As a result, session timings can occasionally vary slightly from the planned schedule. For example, if delegates have important questions immediately before a scheduled break, we prefer to take the time to address them rather than interrupt valuable learning and discussion. This can sometimes mean breaks or individual sessions run five or ten minutes earlier or later than anticipated.
We aim to balance a structured programme with the flexibility that makes interactive, live clinical training valuable for healthcare professionals.

I had a very positive experience with the Global ADHD Network ADHD training. The session was informative, engaging and well structured, with a good balance between theory and practical application.
I particularly valued the focus on ADHD assessment, diagnostic criteria, differential diagnosis and the use of assessment tools such as DIVA-5. Great course
Overall, the course was informative, engaging, and very well presented. The content was delivered clearly, and the instructions were easy to understand and follow.
One area for improvement would be time management, as some sections appeared to run over time or break was longer than needed. Additionally, some questions were not addressed initially and had to be raised more than once before receiving a response. Ensuring sufficient time is allocated to address questions would help improve the overall learning experience.
However, the course was well structured and presented, with only a few areas that could be improved.
