Brought a lovely little motor from these guys. First class and friendly service.

I was looking for a second car to transport the dog I seen a mini estate at gh motors normally I would not buy from car sales but I went to have a look and while I was looking around the car a sales man came up and asked if I would like the keys to start the engine then he came back with the keys and said if you need any help I will be in the office no pressurised sales crap that you get from some car sales after looking it over I decided to buy the car in my opinion it was a good price and the car was in good condition. After talking to the sales man he was honest and said I would not get the car for about a week in which time they given it a full service a 12months m o t with no advisories and a full valet. I bought this car about 4 months ago but waited to write this review to see how the car performed glad to say no problems would I buy from them again personally I would.

On the day I bought the car, Saturday, 7th September, and drove it down to Northampton, I noticed that a icon on the dash appeared, an 'amber triangle with an exclamation mark'. The following day. Sunday, 8th September, during a drive into town, there was no error message. However, on the Monday, during the commute to work, Camden council, the error message was there, and then again the next day on my return home. I rang and reported it to G H Motors, spoke to someone, who was very dismissive, told me 'it could be anything'. During the next few days the same message, on longer commutes, the icon kept appearing and then an error message appeared ' Front Sensor: Assist Impaired'. Again. I rang G H Motors but this time I spoke to Eric, he actual offered helpful advice and over the next few weeks he and I tried to find a solution to the issue. Today, after attempting his suggestions over the weekend, and his request 'to let him know how I got on' I rang to let him know the outcome but only managed to speak to XXXX. XXXX, the antithesis of Eric, a most unhelpful, ill-mannered man, explained to me that the warranty does not cover this issue but only covers major mechanical issues, this is despite, on the day that I picked up the car I raised the warranty issues I previously had with RAC, to be told that 'our warranty is better'. XXXX also stated the the issue was not there when I picked up the car, implying that I caused the problem. I would like NXXX to prove that the issue was not there when I picked it up and or that I caused the issue. Under the Consumer act 2015, I am supposed to inform you of my intention to claim a full refund based on my belief, and I did specifically ask the question at the time I picked up the car 'is there anything about the car I should be aware of?’ and the answer was 'no'. I was hoping that the issue could be repaired but XXXX's attitude and behaviour has not been good customer service. I do not feel the car is as advertised, free of fault/s.

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, goods you supply must be of satisfactory quality. As there was a problem with the goods when I bought them, I request that you give me a full refund.

A very terrible experience with this company. A car I got less than 10 days ago is already making embarrassing noise around the tires. I called the company and the feedback is just terrible as they’re of little to no help at all. They gave me options that are totally inconvenient despite me letting them know I came from a distance. Avoid business with this company for your own safety.

let me start this post by saying im quite a tolerant person, im not a tyre kicker, and i understand some things cant be predicted, im also giving 2 stars rather than one, just for the fact they have one genuine guy there that did try his best to help, that said........ i bought a car from here 3 weeks ago, drove it home and all was good. next morning 10 mins into my journey to work the engine management light comes on. i call them up and get told to take it down, diagnostic machine shows faulty glow plugs.... told to take back next day and supposedly its fixed. drive home alls good, next morning 10 mins on route to work again and the engine management light returns. again make a call, get told to take it in, this time faulty egr valve. booked in a few days later, its apparently changed. take the car away all is good for around 10 days then my old friend the engine management light is back. 3rd time in 3 weeks!! ring the garage again, this time to be met by a guy with zero customer service skills and an extremely bad attitude and told they can get it in to check it on 7th august, almost 2 weeks away. normally i wouldnt mind that, even despite the fact they have had the car more than i have since i bought it, but explained i need to travel to oxford on the 3rd august so needed the car running right, in a nutshell was told take it or leave it they cant get me in sooner, despite the fact i live around 8 mins from the place and a diagnostic hook up takes 2 minutes!!! seems the bad reviews are on the nose, helpful in the first instant then dont want to know!

Bought a car from GH Motors a couple of months ago. Excellent service, friendly helpful staff and very honest, car in immaculate condition and did not feel pressured at all. Listened to exactly what I wanted and was advised accordingly. Would definitely deal with them again in the future and highly recommend. Thanks guys

Bought my car in January had a couple of problems they did all repairs that were needed it took a little while but they did the jobs and I really appreciate them for there service the only thing I would say is please double check these motors before you sell them as people take there first instinct with the car and loose respect with your company but you have come good by doing what you said many thanks 😊

Purchased my latest VW polo that I love! I part exchanged my car in and it was a super easy process. The guys were friendly and not pushy at all. I will definitely be recommending!

Unprofessional and not trustworthy., Be cautios in providing them any deposits. I would definitely not recommend this dealer. I had deposited £100 to view a car under a guarantee that the amount is fully refundable if I did not like the car. I later identified that the car was not meeting ULEZ compliant and told them I am not visiting them to view the car and requested the deposit back. After 2 weeks of waiting, the team states the amount is non refundable. Better stay away as there are many honest dealers around.

After having my car in the garage 3 and half weeks for the SECOND time, I get the car back and 3 days later driving the car the same problems are coming up. Glow plugs flashing and engine management light on. I was told by many employees from gh motors that they were changing the injectors which is why they had my car for so long. I know they haven’t fixed anything on the car, it’s still judging when I drive it, giving a strong burning smell when I start the car, and the warning lights on the car also appeared again. I am self employed and all this time without a car is really taking a toll on my financial situation right now as I need a car to get to work. I have appealed this to close brothers finance and I have let lawyers know about the situation, just waiting for close brothers to contact me back.
AVOID THIS GARAGE AT ALL COSTS

Close brothers finance sent an inspector out to look at my car, and the report come back that GH motors did not fix any problems and the inspector told close brothers the car is not fit to drive. Not only did they waste months of my time and lie about fixing the car, they also didn’t care giving me a car back which wasn’t fit to drive. Trade standards have been informed and I won’t rest until they have fully investigated GH motors as they should not be selling cars it is fraud.
