I have used Garnier Nutrisse for many years but today the 4.3 ultra creme permanent colour seemed very thick! Was difficult to squeeze out of applicator, hasn't mixed well and is lumpy.
Last time I used 5.3 which didn't colour or cover so well.

Used to be good
Always used ganier. Always liked it. Somehow this year, it's different. I used ultra light blonde 100 to get almost platinum blonde and this time it has only turned the slightest bit lighter and trinted ginger. Not impressed at all when my natural roots are dark blonde so they are usually easily lifted in colour. In 15 years of home dying I've never seen such little impact. Don't think I'll be going back now. Was hoping contacting them would help but seeing the other reviews has suggested that is pointless. Gutting.
Goodbye Garnier
I have used Garnier hair dye many times in the past but this time, my experience has not been great. Never has the smell of chemicals been so strong in any hair dye I have used. My 14 year old son was alarmed and told me that I need to get rid of the hair dye from my hair somehow. It is still so strong after a few washes that it just doesn’t seem normal. Also, after washing it off, my hair feels like straw. Goodbye Garnier, will never be using your hair colours again.
Garnier GOOD is not good
Worst hair dye I have ever used. A pain to mix in the tub, it just wouldn't mix smoothly. A pain to apply with my hands, compared to my usual bottle with a nozzle, which helps to part the hair. Then I applied to roots first, as I normally do, and there was none left to blend into the rest of my hair so I had to rub it in as best I could. When rinsed, after using supplied conditioner, my hair felt greasy, and same every time I used it at intervals. Because there was not enough product, and putting it on with my hands, the result was patchy. I will never use it again. However, the gloves were perfect.

so Ive been using garnier hairdye for easily the last 10 yrs. I changed from dark brown colour to iced coffee probably 4 yrs ago. The last 2 boxes my roots ended up bright ginger (i buy 2 for £12.50 as it tends to be cheaper to buy this way. My hairdresser said the formula has changed defintly. so I telephone garnier last Saturday 28th September explain everything and let them know I have got one box left and honestly I do not want to use it as I do not wish to end up with bright ginger roots again. and would like some advice on maybe trying another colour. I get email asking me questions and also asking for my reciept for said box (I buy online because im disabled and a) u cant send back a up-opened box 2 months after purchasing saying the colour is not working for me). so I get an email reply from garnier telling me to leave it on an extra 5-10 minutes (which i do already cos of grey always have which box recommends I leave it on for 35-37 mins ) and to wash hair day before as styling products can effect this again which i do. no offer of refund or advice other than telling me to do what i do already. Today I telephone again to explain all and repeat I am 51 yrs old have been dying my hair with garnier for many yrs and using this exact colour for many yrs and what i was expecting from the reply not to be fobbed off, the lady went away read my email and came back and said sorry nothing wrong with the product its me basically. Im shocked /disgusted to be honest blame the customer for the product not working/not giving correct colour it has before and say sorry cant possibly be our product its you. I am doing the same thing i have done with your product for many yrs. Great customer service Garnier blame the customer!
Stunning coverage
Stunning coverage, I am a ex hairdresser 68years old I can honestly say the no ammonia brings this to a whole new level. I will always use now just stumbled on it thought give it a try, you exact colour which is on box don't have shade down like most of them don't say!!!!! I started at nape of neck and worked my way up as top of head the warmest and works fast my colour sunburst brown 5.32 women out there buy it now genius who thought of box for mixing no waste and the conditioner fantastic packaging reseal and take on holidays thankyou Garnier very happy customer......
Bad customer service
I bought 2 different BB creams they caked on my skin so bad. On contacting Garnier I was told they might not be authentic, they were bought from Superdrug! I was told that I to return them to
store but I did not have the receipt. No help whatsoever Shame on your Garnier
I am allergic to PPD
I am allergic to PPD. Therefore, I thoroughly check ingredients in hair colour.
After using Garnier Olia, I had a serious allergic reaction and attended A and E department. I was prescribed medication.
I sent pictures of this reaction and held a number of telephone calls with Garnier. They advised that PPD was in this product, although not listed.
I would give no stars if I could
I would give no stars if I could. I bought a suntan cream and the pump stopped working. I’d only used a very small amount but I’d thrown my receipt away. I naively thought a large well known company like Garnier would be only too willing to help. I asked them to supply a new pump or product and they refused saying I had to return the cream to the shop I bought it in even though I’d explained why I didn’t have the receipt. I sent them a photo of the product and the manufacturer ref number. I will never buy a Garnier product again.
Appalling customer service
Appalling customer service. I used their 'virtual try on' and even took one product back and exchanged it for another based on that. The results are completely wrong - instead of the blonde it showed, my hair went red. Contacted customer service who were 'sorry for the inconvenience' but that's it - they refused to even get a refund and said to contact the store instead! They don't care about their customers at all
Garnier Customer Services are terrible…
Having used the same Garnier Nutrisse hair colour for years, Garnier changed the colour of 6N to light blonde. My hair was ruined by the lighter formula and of course changed colour. Customer Services were terrible. Bland statements that did not address overwhelming evidence that I sent. They are a disgrace to the industry.
Face cleanser with vitamin C.
I have just tried a new face cleanser brightening vitamin C, and my face has swollen up and my eyes are puffed up and itchy. I have never had a reaction to a product before. Have had to take antihistamine tablets and i cant go out looking like this. This product says dermatologically tested. I think I will be wasting my time telling Garnier about it looking at these bad reviews about customer services.

Terrible customer service, i reported a serious reaction to one of their products, banana conditioning water- yet no one from their team bothered to get back to me!!!! shocking!!
Keep away from the hair dye
Used garnier hair dye for years, there new formula is shocking!! Dyed my roots dark brown..my roots turned green, thought it was a dodgy bottle so brought another one, the dye in the bottle turned green. Rang customer service and evey time I told them what had happened they put the phone down on me 😡, discusting customer service. Will never be using there products again
Shocking customer service
Shocking company that do not process complaints, despite several e-mails and contacting customer services by phone too. They are a multi billion pound company, but do not care about their consumers. One of their products gave me a severe reaction, even after doing a test as per the directions prior to using it. I am still awaiting for a resolution despite sending everything they required a couple of months ago.
My hair turned Black with hair dye used.
I have used hundreds of different home hair dye over the years (all in the chocolate brown/reddish brown shades). Will not be using anything from Garnier again. The Olia hair dye literally washes out within a couple of weeks and my hair went gingery as was washing out and the Garnier Nutrisse has made my hair BLACK. Fuming as it is nothing like the colour on the box whatsoever and I hate it. This has never happened to me before, I tried to go over it with a lighter shade of brown in desperation, but obviously it has done nothing, so I’ve literally wasted my money on 4 hair dyes for Black hair. I am going to have to wash my hair constantly to try and bleed the colour out and hope it lightens??? Cannot get through to customer services UK when call. disgraceful, they should have the colour as black on their box. Not at all happy :-(

Sun product complaint…
I wrote to Garnier regarding a sun protection spray SPF 50 which my husband used on holiday. He had a very bad reaction to it with severe swelling and blistering to his skin. After numerous form filling in and photos sent I was informed that a refund could not be issued because I didn't have the receipt. One of my main concerns was is this going to happen to someone else, where is the customer care policy

I love this product. Does a great job and contains no ammonia.
However, developer cream plastic bottle is huge and contains about a 1/5th in volume of cream. Sooo wasteful and polluting!
