First rate
Delivery men couldn’t have been more helpful and friendly.
I am very pleased with the suite I ordered. The only thing is from the time of ordering to delivery is quite a few weeks but as I understand it it’s the same wherever you buy settees and chairs from. Would recommend furniture barn to anyone.

Very poor service and damaged goods delivered.
Ordered & paid for2 items on 21st March. After 5 weeks & no communication I called & was told one of the items was now not available! On 1st May a refund was authorised and a copy of the refund attached to a compliments slip was sent no apology or reason why it happened.....poor!
They then arranged delivery of the other item which arrived on 10th May, delivery went well but on inspection of the item I found some damage; a scratch on the shelf and the side was split. I contacted my local store where I made the order and was told someone would contact me from customer services...... still waiting for the call!
Will not be shopping with Furniture Barn again!!!! Extremely poor!!!!!

Had a very long wait for my new sofa and chair (25/11/17-(11/5/18)but everyone has been very helpful,from Sharon at the Grantham store,The ladies and grents in Birmingham to the delivery men.

Store staff very good
Store staff very good. Furniture of high quality normally. Unfortunately after sales lacked somewhat, in that we never received notification of delayed deliveries for sofas ordered. Ended up having to wait an additional 3months for delivery!
However, should you order an item in stock, that doesn’t have to be made to your requirements, delivery is very quick.

would have been five star, but due to the time delay, from being notified of stock available for delivery , until it was actually delivered to storage centre,
which was nearly one month!

The experience in the sales room was…
The experience in the sales room was excellent. The after sales was very poor. We ordered our furniture on the 18th February and it was delivered on the 1st May. Originally we were told 4-5 weeks which we thought was a long time but ordered anyway. When the delivery was made the furniture was placed in the bedroom after we were asked if we wanted it upstairs or leaving downstairs.

The table I bought was exactly what I wanted apart from it having drill holes put into it as it was packed.The damage seems deliberate.

Appalling service
Appalling service.
Advised it would be 3weeks from purchase to delivery as we purchased an item from the show room, it was 12weeks for partial delivery.
Constantly lied to by store manager and customer services about what was happening.
Still waiting for the store manager to call me - 9weeks and counting.
Unable to escalate my concerns to senior employees.
Advised no compensation would be offered and my options were, “wait or cancel the order”
I am still waiting for another item to be delivered and I have been given no indication of when or if it will be delivered.
Under no circumstances will I use this joke of an organisation again and will actively share my negative experiences with everyone who listens or asks.

Not the best. Service was good, although you do get bothered by the staff rather than left alone which I don't mind too much. Price quite high and refunds not available without losing 35% of the total cost which to me wasn't great customer service. If in not happy with the product you're doing something wrong, don't charge me 35% because of that. If service was better they'd get 5 stars. Premium prices but again don't mind, would mind even less if service and aftercare was better. All in all, nice place but could do better to treat the customer better and stop trying to squeeze every penny out of them.

Refunds are available so long as we are able to cancel the manufacturing process with the supplier. There is a time limit for this I'm afraid varying on supplier. As your furniture is made especially for you and is not a standard stock item.

Buying the sofa was easy. Getting it delivered was a nightmare!
Buying the sofa was easy. The person I dealt with was friendly and helpful.
Similarly the two men who delivered the sofa were great
However the team who contacted me to advise delivery date was rubbish! They first advised me that the sofa would be delivered on 18 May. When I said that was unacceptable as by then I would have been waiting 17 weeks they immediately offered 8 May. They also said if they could get it to me sooner they would let me know.
After a few days I decided to contact Customer Services which resulted in the Distribution team calling me to offer a delivery of 1 May which I accepted.
On the day of delivery I was contacted around 09.00 to advise me that sofa would be delivered between 14.00 and 16.00. The sofa arrived at 16.02.
I like the sofa but hate the delivery process. I find it difficult to recommend Furniture Barn after the service I received
