My item was initially out of stock, but a quick telelphone call to fotosense and the item was checked with suppier and delivered as soon as it was in stock (the next morning). The staff were really helpful and the email updates were regular and clear. My item was also significantly cheaper here than on rival sites.

I ordered two products, they arrived very quickly, and both at very competitive prices. After a few days I realised that I had made a mistake in the ordering the wrong flash gun, I contacted Fotosense, they accepted the return no questions asked, and dispatched the new one as soon it came into stock.

I recently purchased a Manfrotto tripod from Foto SENSE. The tripod arrived within 2-3 days, (even with a bank holiday) in between. The delivery was tracked by the postal service. The tripod was very well packed and the product in immaculate condition. All of the paperwork was present and fit for purpose. I would certainly use the company again.

Ordered a camera last week (for £30 cheaper than I could find it elsewhere), the description stated the date would be in stock (two days ago). Was a little worried after reading some negative reviews, but camera arrived as expected yesterday with no problems.

Goods ordered on a Saturday and arrived 0800hrs on the following Wednesday.
Brilliant.

Wrong items sent; return postage costs not refunded; emails not answered.

I guess it´s enough to say: never again will order from fotosense

All I can say is, I wish I'd visited this website before and taken note of all the negative reviews (the positive, gushing ones are a bit suspicious, don't you think?) Usual story, they said it was in stock, kept promising bnew delivery dates, kept changing them,so I'd phone up, wait for thirty minutes, get disconnected, phone up, someone would eventually answer with 'oh yes, we're expecting that any day now' and I'd wait like a complete gumby until it finally dawned on me that I was dealing with an appalling company who never intended delivering the product in the first place - they just wanted the interest on my money. So have given up and cancelled, but have no doubt that, like the others I will spend a long time trying to get my money back. You have been warned. AVOID.

Ordered a Giottos tripod & head, after a couple of uses the head became lose. Emailed customer service, had a reply within hours asking me to return to an address with a covering note. A week later had a email saying replacement head has arrived and where did I want it sending. Gave an address, and a head arrived the following day.

You can't ask more than that....

Keen pricing easy to follow and clear website, trouble free checkout and prompt emails to follow. I have nothing negative to say about my camera purchase.

I should have read the other comments before I ordered. Delivery is incomplete without any explanation, all items were listed as "in stock" before. They do not reply to Emails, they just do not care after your order.
I am quite sure many positive comments are made by photosense (that is the reason they have no time to reply to customers emails...)

Company advertise stock on their website, accepts your order, take your money (including Next Day delivery charges!!) then when the order doesn't arrive and you chase them they respond saying they don't have it in stock. This is a breach of trading laws in the UK (Taking funds without being able to fulfil the order). They also didn't understand plain english in my email and responded to it as if they hadn't even bothered to read it. Totally disgusting. AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Fotosense Which they advertised as being in stock when it was not. I cancelled the order and received a reply saying the money had been refunded. The refund has not yet happened and I will probably have to raise a complaint against them with the card company. I will not consider using them again.

I ordered my Panasonic LX3 from fotosense. I was a little bit worried about doing so based on the mixed reviews I had read online. All my fear was without warrant, because the camera was delivered within the time frame that was stated to me.

Communication via phone and email was very good and polite. The goods arrived in perfect condition within 24 hours with next day delivery. Price was very competitive. A very professional company.

I purchased a set of studio lights in March of last year, however they did not work. Fotosense kindly replaced them but the new set were also faulty. They said that they would refund me including postage and packing as they were having problems with this particular line of lighting. P&P on both occasions came to £50 and the lights were £289 + postage.

Fotosense have refunded me £292 to date which is unacceptable. The usually nice chap at Fotosense stated that because I had the lights for almost a year I therefore managed to get a full years usage out of them. How can this be? The lights were unusable.

I accept that I ought to have returned them in October when I spoke with them a second time around - however because of a busy schedule at xmas and the new year I could only return them in February (still under years warranty).

I am a little put out because not only did the chap hang up on me this morning I have been left out of pocket to the tune of £50+. I can see clearly that Fotosense won Good Service Award 2008 but in 2010 things are slipping somewhat.

You have been warned.

Excellent service from help staff and the sales staff. 24 hour delivery of a splendid camera at a sensible price. communication also was better than most.

I was kept up to date at all stages and goods were delivered promptly - all at a very good price - fantastic!

I ordered a wireless flash trigger from FotoSense; they had the model I wanted at the lowest price I could find. Their website said the item was in stock and would be delivered within three working days.

By the third working day I hadn't even received a dispatch confirmation, so I gave them a call. The person I spoke to said that the item I wanted was actually out of stock, which was disappointing given that the website had clearly said it was in stock. I wish they'd been pro-active enough to inform me that they were going to miss the delivery target, without me having to call them.

So why am I giving them a four-star review? Well, the gentleman I spoke to was faultlessly polite and dealt with my complaint without a hint of defensiveness. He promised me that the item would be delivered to them that afternoon and that they would send it next-day delivery so that I would definitely have it the following morning. This promise was kept, which gives me confidence about dealing with them again in the future. The item arrived in good order, and I've had no problems with it.

Outstanding experience - ordered 4 items mid-day - received items next day in the morning. These were clearance items at 'give-away-prices' and delivery costs were very reasonable. I was absolutely delighted and would not hesitate to buy again - based on this single experience, I would recommend giving Fotosense a try.

I cant fault them. I looked at other shop reviews and this seemed to be the best option. I phoned the prior to placing my order. I bought the camera online and forgot to add a camera bag, phoned them and spoke to nice guy who added the extra item onto my order. Paid via paypal. 2days later my camera was here. Good service at a good price. Would recommend. However, I cant say in terms of warranty issues, but item does not appear to be a gray import.
