No Automated Text
Sales team at Five9 mislead us to believe automated texting is included with Five9. It's not! On the last day of onboarding they finally admitted that Five9 has no automated text capabilities. Only then did they explain that the texting shown in our order just gives us the ability is to upload a CSV and send a text blast or do manual one-on-one texting. That's it! Can get more features from almost any other phone system out there. Five9 cannot do even a basic workflow like, send this text on day one, this other text on day two. None of that is possible. Later they will try to sell you a whole 2nd phone system called Acqueon, which more than doubles the cost. Such BS!

My job recently switched to five9 and this software is complete junk.
Constantly disconnecting, having to restart for it to detect my microphone, and the interface is Unbareably clunky and takes up alot of screen real estate. I find myself Constantly toying with it.
Do yourself a favor and avoid this software like the plague. It is a waste of time and you'd be better off investing into discord nitro. Seriously.

I inherited this product after a recent departure. I have worked in call centers for 30 years and have seen every type of platform. This platform is fine, however, the customer service and partnership is terrible in every sense of the word. They are more than happy to take your money, however, getting the product to do what they promise is another matter. We never received any of the work promised in our SOW, but they were more than happy to threaten legal action over non-payment on work never performed. Yes, you read that correctly - they want payment for work never performed. If we did not pay their exorbitant fees they were more than happy to extort it out of you by locking your system and taking your customer info. I would not be surprised if they sold it. Their lawyers are aggressive and the management does not give a damn about you or your company. They never did the work we paid for, they complained all the time and we have never had as much trouble as we have with them. We moved to one of our other providers who was happy to pick up their business. We have never been happier and will never look back to Five9. Worst investment we have ever made.
We were stuck with this platform after…
We were stuck with this platform after a bad acquisition. We wanted to keep this system in place and likely continue using it with the existing staff. On the contrary, they wanted this system out immediately. Turns out the support team at Five9 was a pain to work with. Additionally, we kept receiving invoice after invoice of frivolous charges for work that WAS NEVER DONE. Literally, no work performed and they think they are owed hundreds of thousands of dollars. We took the staff at the word and immediately paid off the remaining contract and kicked them out of all our systems. The staff has been grateful and the acquisitoin went smooth after. We will never use Five 9 in any of our companies going forward. The experience of working with them while we were acquiring one of their large clients is mind boggling. Instead of looking at this as a growth opportunity they instead decided to squeeze all they could. Now they do not have a contract and will never have another one from us. Good job losers.
Do not waste your time with this company...
Do not waste your time with this company. They have been awful to work with and will nickle and dime you to death. There are dozens of other platforms where you do not need to deal with greedy micro-managers and ignorant tech people. Avoid using this awful company and dated tech. We dropped this company after 1 year due to all the issues. We will NEVER go back.You can do better and you will be thankful you did.
Five9 was an awful investment, just avoid them
We brought on Five9 due to a recent hire in early 2024. We were always suspect of this platform as their sales people spent their first day in discover with us complaining about their other customers. This went on for almost an hour. We should have known that was a bad sign as things just deteriorated from there once we signed on. This group will bill you for everything, they will slow roll any support while aggressively billing you and their overall attitude is not that of a partner and more of a predator. You have money and they want it regardless of what little they do. We utilize 4 different call platforms for different entities and this is by far the worst and most expensive one. The customer service was awful from the day we signed, they could not do the integrations we needed and they billed us for a bunch of product they never provided. Their lawyers were good about putting us in our place though and I will warn anyone reading this - they are litigious and will lie right to your face. This experience has been fully awful and nobody in our organization will ever consider Five9 again. My hope is anyone reading this will do the same and invest in a better partner.

Five9 have very often technical issues…
Five9 have very often technical issues and to resolve them it's taking for them hours and hours, sometimes whole day and it's affecting business a lot because not possible to make calls.
I don't recommend to no one this program to use for calls.
The worst
The worst, kept getting disconnected every hour and the softphone goes dead.
Even with live calls there is a lot of static.

Five9 as a whole is very responsive to Customer needs and issues. The Service works 99% of the time and when issues Five9 drops everything to respond. Ease of contact is a blessing!
Five9 Support is Top Tier
Five9 is an incredible company to work with. Switching to them was a smooth and easy process, and the ongoing support we receive from them is outstanding. Our TAM, Joey, and our AM, Nick are always very quick to respond to our needs and provide us the best service possible. The phone system itself is worry-free, and requires little to no maintenance to keep running. Five9 offers great reporting data to track employee and campaign performance. I strongly recommend Five9.

We use Five9 in a complex multi-tenant environment and we are very happy with the solution. We have a couple customized items within the salesforce integration we would like to have but otherwise, the Five9 solution gets us everything we need. We are assigned a TAM as point of contact who has been super helpful as well
Connectivity Issues
I was having trouble logging in this morning. Our IT department made an update and now I am logged on. We (credit) are always getting kicked out of five9 too, not sure why it does that. Also, when we are on a live call, it doesn't change the status, it always stays on Ready.

From a support perspective, Five9 has always gone above and beyond our expectations. When an issue arises, our account managers are quick to act, responding with a solution, or quickly submitting a help desk ticket for additional eyes on the issue. We are extremely appreciative of Five9's professionalism in this area.
