Appalling service from Feather and…

Appalling service from Feather and Black, who’ve I’ve been a customer of for many years previously. Trying to return a duvet. 6 emails, hours on the phone waiting for someone to pick up the phone, I’m now in store trying to return it and told I need to speak to customer services. Have been trying to return this duvet since 4th January! All I need is a returns label or a return address - because one wasn’t in the delivery box.

Poor service - Lead times far too long

Order a bed on 17th Jan and told there would be a 12-18 week lead time before the bed could be delivered. 6 weeks into that on 25th Feb I receive a phone call to say the bed has been discontinued as the the style has changed. I was told I could order the new style but it would be another 12-18 weeks before it would be delivered. This is rediculous, I canceled the order.

The mattress is very good, deliverd by crooks

The mattress is very good. However the two men who delivered it were terrible. They tried to tell me they were only there to deliver the mattress and not take my old one. When they looked at the paper work they agreed to take the old one. Then they said they weren't to take the new heavy one to the bedroom, and that would be an extra charge. But if I had £40 they'd do it. We had to contact the main office before they'd do it, all the time telling me how heavy it was. If I was an old woman and not man I think they would have pushed the issue. My opinion is these guys were crooks with jobs. Disgusting pair.

First Class Shopping Experience

Alex greeted me at the door and was extremely helpful without putting me under any pressure. His product knowledge was amazing and he showed me how the different mattresses are constructed helping me to make the right choice for me. I would have no hesitation in recommending Alex or Feather & Black - prior to visiting the store I had been to competitors which simple did not compare to this fabulous experience.

Highly recommended for both quality craftsmanship and excellent customer service

I had an excellent experience at Feather & Black in Kingston, despite a few technical issues while I was trying to pay. Tamara (the store manager) and Rubella (one of the sales staff) were absolutely lovely. Tamara was very knowledgeable about all the products and patiently answered all my questions. Rubella was very friendly and considerate, even offering me tea and snacks while we were trying to sort out my payment. They were a major reason why I committed to buying one of their bed frames despite it being my first visit. Of course, the beds were all well-made and solid, though definitely on the pricey side. I highly recommend Feather & Black for both quality craftsmanship and excellent customer service.

Excellent service and great selection of metal bed frames

What a pleasure to be greeted by an extremely helpful knowledgeable assistant on visiting Feather and Black (Beds) at Milton Keynes and have a choice of Metal Beds to choose from. We were able to pick the design/colour we wanted plus a new mattress and Sarah answered all our questions and we made our purchase. Hopefully delivery / installation will be just as good!!

Unsatisfactory Goods

Having awaited a response for around 2 weeks. The response is as below. The order number is the Title of the Email I have sent. These delay tactics due to my querying your unsatisfactory goods is a shame. New reference no provided 381127

A lovely stool and perfect delivery

A lovely stool, very happy with it. Two men came to deliver. Lots of comms telling me when and they arrived bang on time, took off their shoes and put the heavy stool exactly where I wanted it. Why can’t every firm deliver like this, on time and careful.
