Just went to NTUC to buy paper
Just went to NTUC to buy paper . To my horror , the paper costs $7.10 for 1 pack and the shop just outside cost $5.50! Daylight robbery . Thought that it is a cooperative to control prices in Singapore ., it’s a disappointment that our affordable NTUC has changed to be so expensive now . Can’t even buy fruits there anymore because they cost so much !
Spoilt fruits being delivered
We wrote to Fairprice several times to feedback on the poor quality fruits that were delivered to us via delivery but there us no response. The customer service is super bad.
We even attached photograph. Bananas spoilt, totally black, very ripe on same day of delivery, watermelon that taste horrible. Sunkist oranges that taste bad even on the day of delivery. The price of their fruits are very much higher than retail shops and yet so very poor quality. Very dissapointing.
CNY Order no 165525174 cancelled without notification = Time to REORGANISE FAIRPRICE Management Group?
CNY Order no 165525174 was confirmed and delivery was expected on 9th Feb 24 before 6pm for reunion dinner. Subsequently, was shocked to learn on Chat with (AI)"Ivan" that the order was cancelled, without any prior notification, due to "RUN OUT OF STOCK". Reunion dinner with invited family members and guests had to be embarassingly and abruptly cancelled at the last minute. It is now the 6th day of the festivity and the "Management" (if there is any) appear to have no guts to apologise nor offer any form of compensation. Damage Control is absolutely non existance in this establishment. Time for a complete "REORGANISATION" is long due for the entire "FAIRPRICE GROUP MANAGEMENT" or even possibly consider a complete "SHUT DOWN", as more should stop supporting such incompetent organisation. Wonder if FAIRPRICE should deserve even one star rating?
DO NOT PURCHASE YOUR ITEM/GROCERY…
DO NOT PURCHASE YOUR ITEM/GROCERY ONLINE!
this is my first & the last im using this NTUC App to purchase my skincare product as i thought its base in singapore it would be convenient for me BUT HELL NO! they cancelled my order without telling me but i keep receiving my order is on the way! Worst customer service spam them and wait for them to pick the damn phone is like a pig.

If I can give a minus star for my recent experience I will definitely rate them negative performance. They cancelled my order without sending me any form of notification. I waited for my stuffs and tried to track my order but the record was blank (as if nothing ever happen, unlike other online plaforms
). I made at least 5 calls the customer service spoken to the staffs explained to them my situation . (Luckily I screen shot my order reference no.,as a record). But they pretended that they are helpful and ended up nothing can be done. Poor customer service provided. 😤
My time wasted. I will stick to Redmart, Shopee Mart or Amazon SG for efficient service.

Abysmal.
Delivery persone by indian or malay are the worst. Redundant and useless surveys are always sent via email when deliveries are completed - however, these surveys via email from NTUC are obviously all useless and redundant because NTUC doesn't even have any decency whatsoever to take any corrective actions against aforementioned errant indian or malay bellend losers, unless you specifically escalate to NTUC management (which I had on previous occasions but I can't be bothered to do so anymore) - suspected these indian and malay looney cans are 3rd party outsourced - hence the abysmal delivery experiences.
Heavily location dependent - your area / location determines whether or not you get aforementioned abysmal delivery experiences. Although NTUC delivery is the lesser of "two" evils; amongst the myraid of other abhorent grocery delivery options such as red mart, sheng shiong or cold storage delivery - NTUC delivery is not any better. Terrible! Sucks!
Ordered two fans online $150\ each
Ordered two fans online $150\ each. Only 1 was delivered 2 days after the given delivery date. A week later still fighting with fairprice to get my money back for the one they never delivered. Apparently it is impossible for them to check what they send, so they just take your money and you take the risk. Their online. Hat doesn't work either with waiting times of >90 minutes after which the chat times out.
Compliment for staff Ms Waouyang, Holland drive Ntuc outlet.
Earlier today in the evening around 5pm roughly..I went to Holland Dr ntuc outlet to buy groceries using my gift card. I approached Ms Waouyang , sorry if I mistaken her name. She was all by herself at the self service cashier when I approached her to asked if I can use the card in the outlet. She was so friendly and very helpful. She told me once I'm done with my groceries shopping just let her know so she able to assist me over the counter instead. When I'm done me and my family again asked for her assistance. Even though she was bY herself over the self service cashier assisting other customers, she did not reluctant to assist me and my family over our many groceries. She was so calm even though there's other customers, she still tried her very best to assist. And best thing I noticed, she did not showed any unhappy face while alone attending. Which I believed some might show faces. Thumbs up 👍 when I mentioned sorry for the trouble, she commented "No sorry about it, it's my job." Wow, I'm truly very impressed of her customer service. Please do give her the promotion for her good service. She's truly deserve it. Thank you so much for your awesome service.
Selling expired products
Can you believe that they sell expired products? Mum bought x10 packets of Prima Hainenese Chicken Rice packets and brought it over to Australia. I checked the expiry dates and it was expired in April 2023. These were bought in December 2023. When this was raised to the online customer service staff, they asked me to return the items with the receipt. 1st of all who keeps receipts of these stuff. 2nd, I'm supposed to travel all the way from Australia to Singapore just to return the stuff. I really thought that NTUC was a prominent place but after this and their staff's replies, I'm disgusted and ashamed of this place. Incident taken place in Bukit Batok. This is an advice to everyone. Please do not trust NTUC about their products and especially if it's cheap. An expiry date of 8 months and sold here is totally unacceptable.
The worst online delivery experience!!
I would give negative stars if I could…. One of the biggest grocery
retailers in SG and such a pathetic online delivery experience. Even our neighbourhood grocery has better online delivery service than them. My order was delayed and I did not receive on the date assigned. There was no communication from them about the delay, I tried calling helpline- tried for an hour and gave up. Please do not order from them- the most unprofessional and useless platform!!!
Worst online platform to buy
Worst online platform to buy
One item missing and not delivered feedback no response totally bad service first and last time for me to order on this platform 😭
I experience a discriminating treatment…
I experience a discriminating treatment this morning (1 November 2023, around 10am) at your Tampines Hub Fairprice supermarket from your staff who was opening the boxes of Vietnamese dragonfruit. She handed the bigger ones for certain customers when taking the fruits from the boxes. I believe this was done intentionally to prevent me from accessing those which were within my reach.
Excellent and genuine services …
I m very impressed that miss Joyce supervisor of Yishun MRT branch for being so approachable , patient and helpful to assist me in the exchange for the product ( NesCafe) I bought 2 days ago

I would like to thank Ms Sally Teo from Rivervale Mall Ntuc for picking up my son phone and kept it with her until we came to collect. Greatly appreciate and she deserves a good commentary.
BAD CUSTOMER SERVICE
Ntuc outlet whitesands feedback
Date 14th September 2.30pm
Express counter manned by this elderly lady, white hair walk with a limp. Her service to customers I observed is very bad. She argues, scolds , talk back to me . She need to undergo refresher training on giving out good customer service. I hope the management will take note of my feedback and follow up on her training. Thank you.
Nice & patient & good service!
Nice & patient & good service!
Cashier Cindy Ng from fair price finest in Bukit Panjang Plaza is patient enough for me to open my different (trust/365) app to redeem..
As I came across being with staffs not happy for using so many app at the same time but not for her!
Well Done Cindy!
The fruits sold at all the fairprice…
The fruits sold at all the fairprice outlets are priced much higher than all the fruit vendors in the neighbourhood.
Eg 1kg of mangosteen is priced at $2 at bugis fruit stalls but fairprice charges about $4 per kg.
Noticed that not many people bought the apples and oranges as they were very expensive compared to outside and they
were always written off and sold as rejects.
Who is bearing the losses in these cases which have occurred for so many years already?
This practice of selling fruits expensively is not beneficial to both fairprice and the consumers.
Hope we could see some improvement in the management.
Good Service
With the implementation of bring your own bags whilst shopping, the cashiers job is made easier by merely scanning the items. People who bring their plastic bags have to put the items into the recycled bags without help from the cashiers! I have witnessed to many of these incidences. Could the NTUC FAIRPRICE ensure that the cashiers do their part by being KIND to the elderly or seniors to bag the items into the ‘recycled’ bags. I applaud some of the supermarkets which do just that … these include SHENG SIONG and GIANT.
CONTAIMINATED ICE CREAM
I just had a bad experience eating the ice cream from NTUC left me both irritated and frustrated. While I appreciate the convenience and variety that NTUC offers, there were a couple of incidents that caught my attention.
Firstly, I purchased a box of almond ice cream from the brand Harvest Fields. As I indulged in my treat, I was shocked to bite into something hard and encounter brown bits that felt like shells. My initial suspicion was that these might indeed be pieces of shells, although I couldn't be entirely certain. I decided to take some pictures for documentation and then promptly disposed of the ice cream. It's disappointing when product quality doesn't meet expectations, especially from a well-known brand like NTUC. I hope that the brand takes note of such incidents and ensures better quality control in the future.
However, my disappointment didn't end there. I recalled an incident from years ago at the NTUC branch in Bukit Batok. The store's entrance had a slope, and trolleys were parked outside for convenience. On this particular day, a careless customer decided to push a trolley down the slope, seemingly expecting it to park itself. Unfortunately, the trolley crashed into me, resulting in a painful blow to my head. I lodged a complaint with NTUC about the incident, expressing my concern about customer safety. Regrettably, my complaint seemed to fall on deaf ears, as I received no meaningful response or action from their side. I was disheartened that they didn't take the matter seriously, especially when it involved the safety of their customers.
Furthermore, the trolley design at NTUC has been a recurring issue for me. The older trolleys used to have a long metal pole on top, which has thankfully been removed. However, the current design is still not ideal. As someone who prefers the convenience of lightweight trolleys with baskets, I found the previous design with a metal pole cumbersome. Trolleys similar to those found at Daiso, featuring a basket-like design, would greatly enhance the shopping experience. It's my hope that NTUC considers upgrading their trolley designs to cater to different customer preferences.
In conclusion, my recent visit to NTUC had its ups and downs. The ice cream incident highlighted the need for better quality control by brands like Harvest Fields. On the other hand, the lack of response and action from NTUC regarding the trolley incident was disappointing. I also voiced my preference for trolleys with improved designs. NTUC has its strengths, but addressing these areas of improvement could significantly enhance the overall shopping experience and customer satisfaction.
